We went to look at a 2007 H3.  The car looked brand new.  Seats carpet and paint.   74000 miles.   When we test drove it I smelled burning rubber.  Salesman dismissed me and said numerous times the car has been checked by Bob Howard Service.   Over and over......I stated Bob Howard service doesn't work for me.   We took it to a local mechanic.   They put it on the rack.   The  bottom except where it was painted over was rusted.   Not just surface rust.   It was eating in to the steel bars.    They called other mechanic over to see it.  No one had ever seen anything like it.    There was even a  hole eaten through the floor board.  Hoses and steel bars were damaged.   Mechanic had ideas of what could have caused damage.   Took it back to the lot.    Did they take it to service????   They parked back on lot. ******Bob Howard Manager just called and said their legal team would be contacting us.

Just got off the phone with the general manager who personally apologized about the whole situation I had to deal with this morning. I really appreciate them taking the time to do a follow up with me about my experience. He ensured me that they will be looking into the problems I had and come up with a solutions for it. Since they are going to work on the problem, I am willing to give the company and the service team another chance in the future.

Update on the below info- both the service manager and general manager contacted me and did a good job explaining why the service took as long as it did and the price discrepancy on the break job. Both were very honest and helpful. I am taking my wife's Acadia in on Thursday for break pads, oil change, tire rotation, and a nagging steering column noise. I am looking forward to a good resolution.

I have been waiting for over 1.5 hours for an oil change! And I have an appointment.

I brought in a coupon for $99 break pad change (per axle). When I asked the service advisor if she recommended these pads she said the pads were not very good and recommended the $500 instead.
