Once again, found myself in need off some warranty work. I went in expecting greatness. Instead, I got amazing.
Repairs took some time, but it was a comfortable wait in the sevice area on comfy, plush chairs. The area was very clean and neat...bathroom too!!
Again, I expect great when I go, but what blew me away this time was the fact that when my repairs were completed, I got an email letting me know they were done! That's totally awesome. I can go look at other cars, chill at Subway on the lot, or even run myself through the car wash if I please, and they'll buzz me when it's time to cut the shenanigans and come get my car!
So, I didn't get great this time; I got fantabulous!
Keep it up, you guys! Keep knocking my socks off...socks are overrated anyway and get wet when you run through the car wash.

It was time for my 15,000 mile maintenance on my leased car, and I was really not looking forward to it. I started shopping around, and found that some places were charging in the $400 range for it; absolutely absurd. I finally found Ricart Hyundai, who appeared to only be charging around $150 and was a little over 20 minutes away, and booked the appointment.

First, as with most Hyundai dealerships, the online scheduling system was super easy. I appreciated the ease of scheduling. I was able to get an appointment on a day and at a time that I wanted, which is always nice.

When the appointment came around, I wasn't sure what to expect. We were driving around this huge Ricart megamall, and had no idea where to go. We finally found the service station (which was a tiny bit confusing, because there were logos like Kia on the door, but not Hyundai) and pulled in.

Immediately, we were greeted by a very friendly man who helped us out. He was super helpful, and he took down all of my information correctly (which might not seem like a big deal, but Hyundai itself had me down as CANDANCE and when I called to correct them, they changed it to CANCACE, so I really don't have high expectations for my name spelling). He told me it might be around $175 and should take about an hour and a half.

Now, I've been to Hyundai dealerships where I'm told my service will take 30 minutes, and it takes an hour and 20 minutes. I've been to Hyundai dealerships where I schedule service and am then bombarded by a salesperson to buy all of the things that I "need" for my car, at prices like $70 or $100 more. I was expecting much of the same here.

Happily and thankfully, that was not at all the case. My bill came out to $135, which is less than I was quoted. I was told that my car is in great shape, and I wasn't asked to purchase unnecessary add-ons or service for my car. My car took about an hour and 15 minutes, which is less than I was quoted. And, in addition, they really went above and beyond. My car was washed, I got a "know your vehicle" report which really outlined what was going on with my car, and I got 120 days of road hazard tire protection, roadside assistance, and emergency rental car coverage, just for going to Ricart! That is really unheard of, and I was extremely pleased with the whole experience.

I should also mention that, while I was waiting, I was able to eat complimentary warm oatmeal raisin or chocolate chip cookies and drink complimentary coffee while watching TV on a large screen. Could it get any better?

Ricart Hyundai really wowed me, and I will be back for all of my service needs!
