Reviews on Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge

Horrible customer service. My wife and I went in to drive a brand new Jeep, and the sales man, Hershil, who obviously didn't want to help us, was not at  all interested in answering any of our questions. He was deep in conversation with another sales man about their weekend plans....and when we asked to test drive one, it took almost 10 minutes for him to reappear with the keys. We went outside and he pulled one up for us, and said "it is on E... Just drive it around the loop.. K?" Really? A half mile loop. That's not much of a test drive. But fine. We were really interested, so if we liked it, we would have asked him to gas it up so we could go further.

We got in this SUV, and it was disgusting! I cannot believe a dealership would have a brand new car on their lot looking this bad. The windows were dirty. It had mud and dirt all over the inside, coffee spilled in the cup holders and smelled like wet dog.

But we sucked it up and "drove it around the loop" because we liked the car... But in the matter of our 4 minute test drive, we were so turned off by the whole experience, we decided that even if this was the right car for us, we weren't buying it from Hershil and Performance Jeep.

We took it back and when I told him we weren't interested, he just said "Yep. Here's my card" and turned and walked away.

So we left... And bought a car at Jim Keim Ford instead.

My husband and I both purchased used automobiles from here last year...he bought a 2011 Dodge Ram and I bought a certified 2011 Chrysler 200.  We both thought we were getting great deals on our cars, but the deals definitely ended there.

His truck was delivered with one key fob, and no hard key, so there is no way to make a copy of the key or lock the tailgate. After purchasing the truck, they let us know that we were more than welcome to pay several hundred dollars for each key, and that no, they wouldn't be providing any with the sale. It also generously arrived with four bald tires.

My car has had several problems with the tire alignment (They said nothing was wrong, twice. I eventually complained enough to the service manager to get it fixed). After it being returned, it was still pulling to the right, so after another round with management, the front tires were replaced. Then, at 24k miles, the transmission quit shifing. They fixed it after a few days (said a valve had gone out), and sent me on my way. After this fix it still was shifting very roughly from reverse to drive. Took it back in, and they said they needed to re-boot the computer system, as the transmission needed to learn my driving patterns to function correctly. My driver side window periodically doesn't work. I also have 1/3 of my rear defroster grid out, but after a $98 service charge, said that nothing was wrong. One of the service managers agreed that that fee was a bit high, and knocked it down to about $15. The rest of the problems have been covered under my certified warranty. However, I am at the point with this vehicle (I've had it for 7 months, and have driven it less than 5k miles) that I plan on returning the car under the Ohio Lemon Law.

Wish I could give this no stars. Worst place I have ever dealt with ! Don't buy a car here !!  The deal will fall apart. Something will be wrong and they will expect you to resign and pay more money to keep you new car and they will sell your trade before your deal is finished leaving you with no car and out money :(
