Great car shopping experience here.  I would highly recommend visiting and speaking with Jacob Gahn.  He really helped us figure out what our needs really were and narrow down our car choice.  We took a few weeks to make decisions and called with questions and visited on multiple occasions, he never once made us feel like we were wasting his time. We shopped at 5 different car dealerships and felt pressured from the minute we walked on the lot, that didn't happen here.  Even if you are just considering a Hyundai I would recommend checking them out at this location first.

i did end up purchasing a car here.  i went to another dealership where my family has a long standing history but was not qualified for financing.  the financing end of my purchase  was finalized by ryan and he didn't try and sell me a bunch of stuff either.  

very happy with my experience and would recommend without reservation.

I just looked over all of the reviews here on Yelp and I am so surprised at all of the 4 and 5 stars for Hatfield Hyundai! My husband and I had the worse experience with this place. We were looking to get into a new vehicle and go from two cars to one. We had decided that we would trade both of our cars in. Initially we went to Hatfield Kia and they got us a great quote on a vehicle. We wanted to test drive a Santa Fa and see if we liked this one better than the other that we had tested at Kia. Hatfield Kia allowed us to go across the street to Hyundai to test the car out. Our salesman took us in and we started talking about prices and what they could do for us. We were there for two hours and within those two hours he pushed multiple cars on us. We knew what we wanted and were feeling very pressured into buying a car from them. Within the time that my husband and I were in there not only did they try to push us to get the Santa Fe at a much high price than what we wanted to pay, the Sales Manager tried to push three different cars on us. After being in there for 1 1/2 hours we told them that we were just going to go ahead and go over to Hatfield Kia to talk with a sales person there about the initial car that we had been looking at. Once I told that to the sales person they became even more pushy which caused us to be there for another 1/2 hr. During the end of our visit they started talking negatively about Kia.

We would never recommend anyone to go into that car dealer. We went to Kia and walked away with a brand new car...at a great price! I am also not one to talk badly about people...this is why I haven't mentioned names.

Had a car issue today - my car key was locked in the ignition when I went to turn off my car - battery still on but even when I went to try to start the car there was nothing - nada - zip - zilch - like it was dead.  (found out this was called a "stop lamp switch" problem)

Freaking out I called my local Goodyear (which I love) - they told me how to "fix" this problem and yes they could get me in and fix the problem but I'd have to leave the car overnight.  Couldn't - so I call my Hyundai service department (since I bought the car there) - talked with one of the service advisors and even though I didn't have an appointment and they had all their appointments filled I was told to bring my car up to them and they'd fit me in.

Took my car in and my paperwork had already been printed out and within 2 hrs the problem was fixed.  My service advisor was Thomas McLymont a very nice young man.  Best part of this is that this problem had had a recall on it so it cost me NOTHING!  Yay!  There was also a recall for "underbody corrosion" which they also took care of at no cost (yeah I know - recalls are not supposed to cost anything anyway so I shouldn't get excited over it but I am - lol)

Anyway - THANK YOU so much for fitting me in and taking care of this problem!  I have been a customer of theirs for many years and I must say that they have always been the best with service and still are.

If you're in the market for a new Hyundai (or any other car under the umbrella of Hatfield), then this is your dealership.  I recently purchased a Hyundai from Hatfield and it could not have been a better experience.  From the sales person (Rick Neutzling), to the sales manager, finance guy, etc, they were all great.  They stand out because of the friendly, no pressure approach.  They really go the extra mile to help you find the right car for you and your situation.  They do not treat you like a mark...they treat you with respect.  So I highly, highly recommend these guys...as good as it gets!

I just purchased my used kia optima LX from Craig, the used car manager from Hatfield last night, they closed at 7 but we didnt get out of there till about 9. heworked with me and for me really trying to  find me the best deal and calling me all day while I couldn't physically be there bc he kneww how soon I needed a new car. The thing I  like most about Craig & Hatfield was the office atmosphere- my boyfriend couuld watch the game while I went over paperwork and got stuff done. Everyone was friendly and had great team effort. Even a recent costumer in the lot while shopping told us they were great! I would definitley reccomend them if you are looking for your 1st car or a used car and don't want all the hassle. Let Hatfield do the work for you! Shoutout to Craig ! :) Awesome experience

I recently took my car down here to the service department, to fix the Hyundai recall on the brake light issue.  So this review is entirely for the service department.  I've never looked for a car there.

The staff there was friendly, and quickly attended to me when I got there.  The whole process only took about an hour, so not incredibly short, but not too bad for a Saturday afternoon when probably lots of people were coming in.  I was also happy they didn't try to talk me into getting anything additional done to my car.  I usually expect that from mechanics.  My service was free, so I don't know how competitive the service prices are, but I can say they did a quick, no-hassle, honest job.

I'm not basing my review on this at all, but I'd probably stay away from the coffee when you're waiting.  I made the mistake of taking a little while I was waiting and did not care for it at all.

My wife and I recently purchased a new Elantra GT from Hatfield and had a good experience there. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Vince Miller helped us find the right car and was very thorough in his presentation of the car's features. The price they offered was very fair. I subscribe to Consumer Reports car pricing service and the price offered was below what Consumer Reports said was a good price  for that model. When we said we were going to test drive some other models we were not pressured to buy before we left. We eventually returned to get the Elantra GT after driving a Honda Fit and a Mazda 3 hatchback. Financing the car was relatively quick and painless. Yes, they pitched us on the usual aftermarket items and protections but we didn't have to say no more than once. Once the sale was complete, Vince walked us through our car's Bluetooth setup and made sure we our phone worked on it before we drove off. I would strongly recommend that anybody who is looking at a Hyundai start their search at Hatfield and ask for Vince!

I went to Hatfield yesterday and actually had a good experience at a dealership.  This is the 2nd car I've ever purchased and the first car was almost 10 years ago; I took my dad to purchase my first car so I didn't get ripped off.  When I went to Hatfield, I had already test driven a few different cars, I had done my research, and I had a good idea of my max price, what I expected for a trade-in, and the interest rate I was looking for.  Although I was well prepared to buy a car, I knew that I would walk away if they couldn't give me the deal I wanted.

When I drove up, I went to a couple cars and saw the dreaded salesperson coming my way. At least that's how I always felt... I despised salespeople.  When Jacob (Jake) came over he introduced himself and tried to make small talk and build that rapport they (sometimes) master.  After a few minutes, he could tell I had done my research and eased off a great deal.  I asked a few questions and asked to drive the first car I walked up to, which was the (starting) price I was looking for and had the features I wanted.  Although it had JUST come off the truck, Jake was willing to get it ready for test drive. I mean, they hadn't even taken any of the tape off or let the excess air out of the tires and it only had 9 miles on the thing...

When he had it all ready for me to test drive, he offered to go with me, but stated that he really didn't need to go - so, for the first time ever, I went on a test drive without a salesperson!  I was a little surprised about this, but quite thankful (of course, I'm sure they took this opportunity to look over my car, in case I wanted to use it as a trade-in).  It allowed me to relax more as I was driving and actually pay attention the the feel of the car, rather than listening to a salesperson "sell" me on the car.  I drove around for about 10 minutes and came back.  

Jake met me outside and I was surprised he didn't give the typical response of "what will it take to get you in this car today?"  He was quite frank and said that even if I didn't buy a car then, then it would be fine - maybe the next time.  He asked what my time frame was and the reasons I was waiting for a couple weeks - I just said that it had to be the right deal.  We started talking numbers and we did an initial write up of how much everything would costs (i.e., assessing how much I could get for my trade-in, interest rate, etc.).  When everything came back, it was almost exactly what I was looking at, financially.  We negotiated a little, but I was  happy with the original offer and was able to get just a little more out of the deal, just a little...

We worked out the paperwork, all the meantime Jake continued to be one of THE nicest salespeople I have ever dealt with (not just buying a car, but also in any other sales fields).  I didn't feel pressured at all.  The financing department was equally helpful.

In the end, I drove off in a brand new car and I LOVE it!  I would HIGHLY recommend going to Hatfield Hyundai and working with Jake.

P.s., with this being my first time buying a car all by myself (look, I'm a big girl now :)), I was extremely nervous going into this, but came out feeling more confident.

I bought my Sonata here from Jacob Gahn who was an excellent salesman.  Clean cut type of guy - the opposite of your typical sleazy salesman.

This review however is for the Service Department:

Took my 06 Sonata to Hatfield the other day for repairs.  They told me I needed to have my fuel pump replaced.  But wait?!?!  I had my fuel pump replaced recently by Dennis Hyundai on Morse Road.  Actually it was almost exactly one year and 15,100 miles ago.  

I was told to check with Dennis Hyundai about when the work was done and to ask about the warranty if any,  I was within the time but not within the mileage.  The charge this time?  $882.53 which included the tow to the shop.  

I feel the shop did their job well and I guess I can't blame the other shop for a part that only lasted a year, but I'm really rethinking this Hyundai thing after all.  True their quality has risen substantially over the years but if a Hyundai fuel pump only lasts for a year and leaves me stranded.....:(.  I may be looking for a different brand for my next car.  There are too many choices out there for quality autos.

So my experience with this service department, I give them a solid 4 stars.
