Reviews on Germain Mazda

I would recommend Germain Mazda to anyone interested in purchasing a Mazda, or is looking for a refreshingly pleasant car buying experience. But for such an abysmal experience the previous day at Germain Nissan, I would not have truly appreciated the exceptional customer service provided by the entire team at Germain Mazda. I came to the dealership having previously conducted research on the model, trim, trade-in information and financing numbers I was hoping to hit.

I was paired with Bo Stranzin and it was instantly clear that he genuinely listened to my desires in a new vehicle and was clearly concerned with making sure I purchased the right vehicle for my needs, as opposed to merely trying to sell me something I didn't need.

Once my vehicle was identified, I was transitioned to Sonny to complete the financing side of the purchase and received the same level of exceptional care and attention. Throughout my entire time at Germain Mazda, everyone that was apart of my purchase process (including Kyle from parts and the individual from service whose name I can't remember) treated me with respect.

Without going into specifics into some of the lengths the team at Germain Mazda did to provide such a great experience, it is enough to say that my experience was how car buying should be: both seller and buyer walking away happy.

For those interested, I leased a 2015 Mazda3 4-door sedan with the iGrand Touring Trim.

I purchased a 2014 Mazda3 here about a month ago. Overall, I was pretty happy with the experience. I walked onto the lot knowing what I wanted and willing to make somewhat of a deal for it, but I also wasn't permanently attached to any vehicle yet.

I walked towards one of the cars I had looked at online and was on my own for a couple minutes before I was greeted by a salesman named Chris. We looked at a few cars and took one for a test drive. Then I was pretty sold and it was time to do business. Since I knew pretty much what the going rate was for this particular car and I figured I had a pretty good price but what was going to win the deal (for me) was a good price on my old car as a trade-in. Luckily, I didn't have to worry, I got exactly what I was hoping for and I didn't have to argue/haggle them for it.

I haven't had to use the service facilities yet so I will update this review accordingly when I go in for my first check-up.

Brittany Lyons- The best salesperson we have ever dealt with... Not just within the car industry, but in general. She never pushed any "extras", "options", and never even pushed us to buy TODAY... She interacted with us & with our 4 children who were there with us, she had several co-workers & managers work on getting us the best possible deal... Best rates, best discounts & best "bank for our buck". Her personality, her demeanor, her loyalty to her customers & dedication to our needs exceeded all expectations. If you EVER need a new Mazda, are "just looking", or know anyone who is looking for a new car- Brittany Lyons- She is your girl! Thank you Brittany for suck an amazing experience... The dealership is also very open concept, offers a children corner visible from anywhere in the dealership... Overall i would rate this the best experience one could ask for!

Took my 2007 Mazda 6 here for routine maintenance. I was impressed by competitive pricing, extraordinary customer service, & time taken to complete the work. There were honest about what did and didn't need done to my vehicle so that I didn't end up paying for unnecessary services or repairs. They provided a very nice loaner vehicle from their lot when I ended up having to leave my own. Jim Parrot was my service tech. He went above & beyond to answer all my questions & address every concern. I will definitely return here for service/repairs. Highly recommend!

It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Terry! Me and my wife were promptly whisked away to the car that we wanted as soon as we stepped into the store without spending any time at the desk at all, and we were off on our test drive in less than 10 minutes after we stepped into the Germain lot. Terry was very knowledgeable about the Mazda 3 S Touring, and also about similar cars in general. It was fun having him in the back seat during the test drive as he charmed us with introductions to various features of the interior and drive experience, and he was very sensitive to our specific needs. After the test drive, he walked us through the pricing details, and helped us find a price point that fitted our budget. As we drove off the lot in our new car, we were happy to feel that not only did we buy the perfect car for us, but we also gained a new friend in Terry. We most highly recommend Terry and wish him all the best :-) ---- Faiza & Rubab.

I have to update this review - someone must have noticed that four hours was a long time for a pregnant woman.  :-)  They were very sweet and sent me an apology with a big ol' bouquet of flowers.

Wonderful customer service.  And it's so rare to see these kinds of things these days - yes, I know we bought a car from them, but it's the little things that count.

My husband and I went to Germain Mazda to look at a particular used car.  I'm sad to review that I had a rather unpleasant experience.  The salesman came out onto the parking lot, he was on the phone, motioned for us to wait a minute.  I can deal with that, but when he hung up, he told us he was finalizing plans for his cruise.  That should have put me off, but I want to give people the benefit of the doubt.

We exchanged pleasantries, had a couple laughs, test drove the car, which I loved by the way.  The moment we sat down the tone changed.  We were asked what we had in mind.  We asked what's your best price.  I know this dance is part of the car-buying experience.  We asked if they would cover tax, tag and title.  IMMEDIATELY we were told, "Sorry.  Can't do that."  We were told although Germain doesn't have set pricing, a la CarMax, they can't really deviate from the asking price.  Well, then maybe you SHOULD have set pricing.  Everyone knows you never pay sticker price.

So the salesperson tried to show me another car.  I said I like the one I looked at and it has a better side crash rating among other things.  Where did you get your information, I was asked.  I told this person the website.  Well, your information is incorrect and inaccurate, he said.

How about we look at this Hyundai Santa Fe, I was asked.  No, I like the Kia Sorrento.  So you like the full-sized SUVs, I was asked.  No, I like mid-size.  That's not mid-sized, it's full-sized, he said.  I said the Expedition is full sized, are you saying the Sorrento and Santa Fe are the same size as an Expedition.  No, Expedition is its own class, he said.  What??  How about this Mazda CX-9 he said.   Looks too much like a sedan, I said.  He said it's the same size as the Sorrento and Santa Fe.  So, using that logic, the CX-9 is the same size as an Expedition.  (Look it up.  Not even close).

I couldn't believe this cat was arguing with me.  My husband and I politely said we would think about it and look at some other cars and excused ourselves.  We had told him we would be looking at other cars and wouldn't be buying this day.  And in what I perceived to be an upset tone he said, so I could cover tax, tag and title and you're telling me it wouldn't matter.    We were incredulous that we were treated with such belligerence.

We went to another dealer an hour away the next day and bought a car.  It was worth a 60-minute drive in the pouring rain to be treated in a friendly and respectful  manner.   I would have bought a car from him had we been treated kindly.
