Reviews on Byers Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram

A very sincere thank you to the team @ Byers for the exceptional service on all levels. Was not able to get into another dealer that I have worked with over the years and Byers was able to squeeze me in and in addition; far exceeded every expectation that I could have had. From the initial call to receiving my vehicle back from the service department, I was truly amazed at the level of care and professionalism. Thank you Treat and all that had a hand in gaining a new customer. I am excited to be working with Byers from this point forward!

If you can reference my review of Bob Caldwell... it may help understand this review. IF I COULD REVIEW THIS BUSINESS 15/10 STARS I WOULD!

I originally went to Bob Caldwell for diagnosis. They gave me a 2k estimate. I went to a 3rd party shop to get one of the smaller things resolved and they advised me that the issue was completely electrical and that the part didn't need to be replaced. I was LIVID!

I called around to Byers earlier in the week and set up an appointment to have the larger issues resolved since they were charging less. My car dies on Saturday so I had to have it towed there. When I explained what happened to the car, what was going on with it, the quote from BC and what my appointment was. The service adviser already KNEW it was electrical.

Today was the day of my appointment and they called me to advise that it was an electrical issue and that it would likely resolve ALL of the issues presented with my car and if not they would call...

Well... $645 later, I have my car back and no unnecessary repairs.
God bless Byers for being honest and trustworthy!

I am even thinking of purchasing a car from them as I want something smaller in the near future! They have created themselves a repeat customer!

Beware - service dept. is a ripoff.  I have a Chrysler Sebring Convertible. I took the car to Byers for regular service. I had noticed that my top was not working properly, so I asked them for an estimate. When I got the car back, the service manager told me that the hydraulic pump that lifts the top was broken and would need to be replaced. He gave me a written estimate of $1500.00 .  Because they had not secured the back seat correctly after the estimate, it was easy for me to lift it off and take a look at the pump. It looked fine, but I went ahead and ordered a replacement pump off of the internet for $226.00 . I installed it myself in about an hour.  I realized during the installment that one of the cylinders was actually leaking and that's what was causing the problem. I ordered the cylinder for $100.00, and took it to a local convertible top company. They charged me a $150.00 to replace the cylinder and even put in new hydraulic hoses.  Please do your homework before you deal with Byers. That kind of mark-up is a rip-off. No wonder nobody trusts auto repair businesses any more.
