I bought first car there a 2015 Chevrolet malibu and was extremely satisfied with everyone that helped me. I've bought many cars over the years and finally felt like the dealer wanted me to be satisfied with the car I picked out. I went a lot of other places and it seemed they didn't to anything I ask for. So, I do appreciate it and all went great. They even cooked out last Saturday and I got a great lunch too.

We walked in to buy a car.  Granted it was 1 hour before close on a Saturday, but we intended to simply ask some questions and come back later to close the deal.  We walked around and stood in various places throughout the showroom and may as well have been made of concrete for all of the attention we received from their employees.  Needless to say we left and bought the car from another dealer.

I was turned off by the layout of their lot. We came once after-hours to look at a few vehicles and they have parked their cars in such a way that you cannot drive your car through the lot to browse, you instead must exit your vehicle and walk the lot. It's November, it's cold, rainy and windy, I can't imagine most people would want to get out unless they really had to.

Today, we submitted an online credit app today and Adam, their internet rep responded almost immediately and told my husband he was pre-approved.

Shortly after, he was contacted by another salesman and told that their online application doesn't allow them to see user's SSN so they were contacting him to let him know that he was NOT pre-approved, but with some more info they'd be happy to run his credit and check into things. They also asked him what he was looking for. We were VERY specific in price as we, like most people, are on a very strict budget.

Later that day, my husband was contacted again by Mike to look at a vehicle they had approved him for. It was the right vehicle, but was more than DOUBLE our budget. I realize he is a salesman and only doing what they're "supposed" to, however that is of zero help to us. We cannot wave a magic wand and make money appear.

3 strikes, you're out!

Less then stellar first experience with this dealership.  I had my doubts when the service guy told me to call back in an hour because he was busy.  But it was recommended by the Chevy Volt Advisor.  When I did call back, he told me to have the Chevy Volt Advisor to contact him directly to authorize the warranty work, because he's not sure what I'm talking about.  I wasted an hour waiting to call him back for naught.
2 wks later I drove round trip 150 miles to show up for my appt.,, only to be told (by another service guy) that they can't find my appt.  When they finally did, then I was told the Volt mechanic will not be in until after 3:30 pm.  My appt was 9:30 am.!  I took a day off from work, drove all that way for nothing.

I gave 1 star only because I had to give something, & also the place was clean.  Maybe it's clean because nobody else can have an appt.

This review is specifically for the Body Shop at Bobby Leyman Chevrolet.

My wife's 10 year old Saturn recently needed the front fender to be replaced (these things shatter with enough force, so it wasn't just dented or scratched). There was some concern as to whether the fender and underlying brackets was all that was needed, or if the bumper would also need to be replaced in case it's mounts had also been damaged.

After looking around and getting a few rough estimates, I decided to go with the quote from Rocky at this dealership. I don't regret it. His price was reasonable and had basically worked with me to give me the best options within my budget. They got the parts in, painted the fender and then called me up to drop off the car so as to minimize the time it spent in their shop. We did not end up needing to change the Bumper after all.

Through the entire process the service was top notch. The car looks great now that the broken fender has been fixed. Communication with me was good and their willingness to work around my needs - time and budget wise, were very much appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone else who needs body work done.
