DON'T BE SCAMMED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!
I took my car in for an oil change - when they gave it back my shifter was broken!
The manager of the service department, STEVE FLETCHER lied to my face and tried to drive me home so he could perform a $400 repair on my car. DON'T BE SCAMMED BY THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!!!!!!! I had to call my brother to get him to tell me about the "EASY FIX" on my car so I could drive it home. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY - they will take advantage of you! Steve Fletcher claims he doesn't know anything about cars... why would you trust him?!?!?!

*I had two previous experiences with them that were positive - so maybe it is just after they get your trust that they try to screw you.

The Worst dealer ever. I came all the way down from KY. 2 hours driving and they said "we can't do business with you". It's all about my race. AVIOD THEM. THEY ARE RACISM!!!

We have had THE BEST service from this dealership!

 I called and they knew about my problem.  When I pulled up they not only were ready to fix it - apparently a little screw falls out of the gear shift often on 3 year old Dodge Caravans - and Rene got a mechanic to assist us.  It was fixed it like a pit crew!  We literally had a drive through service experience.  It was no hassle and no charge! How many times does a dealership do that?  Answer - never but this place manages no hassle - often!

Now charges are more common but I haven't been disappointed with any of the service.  Honestly, the tires I bought from Northgate were the best deal AND the best quality!  You get what you pay for and we've been very pleased with the value.  

Rene rocks and so does her entire service department!

A mixed review for Northgate.

My family and I have bought cars from Chrysler since the early 90's.  I like the cars, I'm familiar with their quirks, most of them are a nice ride at a low price.

I was really happy with Ian, the salesperson that showed me the selection at Northgate.  He was congenial, informative, and he gave me a price on a 2012 200 that was easily $2,000 less than comparable vehicles from other places.

That said-

Earlier that day I drove my 2000 Sebring up to the parts/service department.  I walked up to the counter and told them about the issue I had been having.  The car has some loose wiring that's preventing the battery from properly charging.  The clerk at the counter informed me that it would cost $100 minimum just to look at the car.  Adding insult to injury, they couldn't get it in until Monday.  Problems with this:

1.) The entire repair could be done by myself for $15.
2.)  I could get it done myself by Monday.
3.) This is your car, you guys made this thing, I didn't wreck it, it just got old, and you're gonna screw me over on labor costs?

I give the salespeople here four stars, but the parts/service department two.  A two, as in this is the second time I've been unimpressed with the service department.

Perhaps they have intentionally bad parts/service thinking I'll just buy a new car.  And I will.  Somewhere else.
