Found a vehicle I was interested in online.  Called them to make sure that it was still in stock, got a unpleasant girl who was more interested in getting all of my information than telling me if it was in stock.  Told her if it was in stock we would be up to look at it. Gave her type of vehicle and the stock number. Yeah she says its here.  Drive 25/30 minutes in rush hour traffic get there drive thru the lot don't see it, get out go inside to talk to sales person.  After getting a guy who was already with another customer we ask him about the vehicle, he's going to check on it, be back in a minute. We pull up the listing again online on our phone to get the stock number again.  The nice girl at the counter says " is it the red one", me "yes" her "I think we sold that car a couple days ago".  Wait a few more minutes thinking he is looking for this car, but no, he has gone back to his original customer. Now I get upset, and say "this is BS is this how you have to get customers, lie to them" not very quietly I must add. The other girl calls the sales guy back and he has a lame excuse about cars coming in and leaving so quickly blah blah blah. My response I GAVE THE STOCK NUMBER, how did the girl at the counter know without looking that it was gone!  
Went to Kings Toyota and found a car we were interested in.  So wasn't a total loss.  But won't be going back to McClusky EVER!

This place is a joke. I'll try to keep this short:
Bought a used car and got a warranty. Spark plugs went out the next day and they tried to charge me for it. Took them 5 days to get it "ok'd" to call me to say they could replace under warranty. Then two days to get it back.
Two months later I took it for an oil change and tire rotation. I was there for four hours before they came out to tell me they broke two studs. They tried to charge me for it. It took 4 days of calling 5 times a day (with no answer) and I left two voice messages on the service manager's "personal phone"  until I got a response and they fixed it. I was calling him and the service department.
 Took it back for the same today and they just called to say a stud just "fell off". Again. And tried to charge me.

Since moving to cincinnati 2 years ago I've always brought my cars here for their oil change. Everyone is always super nice! I never dread waiting for my car because their waiting area is by far the best! Freestyle PPP machine, Starbucks coffee and snack...all free!!! oh and can't forget free wifi! lol I can't even do this waiting room justice! I will never go anywhere else!

This is one cool dealership. My boyfriend had recently purchased a Chevy from a different dealership but realized the his window was not rolling down all the way. We stopped by in the evening one very snowy night to see if they could squeeze us in. They were slammed, you could tell, but still they treated us like their most important customers and assured us they would work us in, if we didn't mind waiting. Then she even apologized that they would not be able to wash the truck like they usually do for typical service appointments because of the weather. Such amazing service.

The amenities in this place are off the hook. Complimentary Starbucks coffee, candy, soda (from one of those cool mix and match Coke machines, TV's, plush seating areas, office area, and a relaxation room with massage chairs. Not your typical dealership by far.

A+ service and a wonderful experience.

Wow!!!!!  Made a service appt for my car. Obviously this is a brand new place so I expected it to be really nice. It was. The things they offer customers in the lounge is beyond what I've ever seen at a car dealership. But they have it all covered. The customer service was well above what I expect anywhere!  It was actually a good experience taking my car in for service. I don't think I've ever said that before......

I find the service there about zero to null.  The sales experience was horrible, so it is no wonder that the service is the same.  I made my appointment online, and the day before I called to verify and was told it was not in the system.  We were then "squeezed" in and was made to wait 3 hours plus for an oil change and a review of the transmission.  To me that is unacceptable.  my wife took off half a days work and missed out on time with the kids while she sat and waited.  I will only be coming back due to the free oil changes and it is mandated by our warranty.

I wouldn't normally review a body shop since I am not a car person, but seeing the negative reviews, I felt the need to share my positive experience. After a horrific experience at not one, but TWO, mechanics in Cincinnati, I gave up the ghost and brought it to the dealership. I'd always avoided it because I like to support local mechanics and because the Automall is so far away from my house.

Since 2013, I've brought my car in for relatively minor issues-- changing headlights; 27 point inspection; repairing warped brake rotors and cleaning a dirty throttle body. Fairly simple items that took an afternoon or just a couple of hours. All of these experiences were positive. The mechanics were very helpful and explained everything to me and even were blunt about which repairs I could "avoid" (okay, this place is EXPENSIVE, I will say that and sometimes I'll put certain repairs off) and they don't try to woo you into buying a car even if your car is clearly a POS. Also, this is irrelevant, but the waiting room is very nice, with coffee, soda, etc, and I wasn't even too bored the three times I've waited 3+ hours.

Overall, despite the reviews below, I simply just did not have a bad experience at McCluskey Chevrolet. I know it's a little more expensive and it's not local, but after getting screwed over by so many mechanics in Cincinnati, ON TOP of them hurling sexist jokes at me and acting like I'm an idiot, I'm done. As long as I'm driving my POS Aveo, I'll get my repairs here.

Still a terrible experience. Power train warranty requires you to go to them for service.

Back in November (2012), after being involved in an accident, I made an appointment to bring my car in to McCluskey's auto body shop to be repaired. I was told two weeks in advance that I had an appointment at 9am to get an estimate on the damage to my car that would take, at most, 30 minutes (according to the woman who made the appointment). After arriving at about 8:50am, I ended up sitting in the lobby for an hour and fifteen minutes before the guy who was supposed to be doing the estimate even talked to me, let alone did anything with my car. After the wait, he told me that I would have to get a rental car that day, and then said that I could use Enterprise for a rental car, and he called State Farm (the faulted driver's insurance company) and said that they said it was alright to do that and that it would be covered (he's apparently some kind of representative for State Farm).

Three days later, they called me at 11:30am and told me that my car was finished, and that I could pick it up anytime before 7pm at the body shop where I dropped it off. So at 6pm, I showed up to pick up my car, and the same guy who made me wait the last time said "ummm, what?", and I told him that I had received a phone call and was told me to pick my car up. He then said "ummm, I don't know why they told you that, because it's not here." So he called the body shop on Galbraith Rd (where they apparently had to take my car to get the work don), and apparently after I had received the call no one brought my car over. So the guy I was speaking with asked if I could just come back and get my car the next day. By that point I was already upset that my car wasn't there when I was told to come and pick it at that specific location and had rushed after work to get there, so I said "No, I can not pick it up tomorrow. I have things to do tomorrow, including work, and I was told six hours ago to come and get it today", to which he replied that if I wanted it that day I was just going to have to drive to the body shop on Galbraith and get it (20-25 minutes away). The guy at the Galbraith body shop was nice enough to stay late (after 7pm) in order to give me time to get there and pick up my car.

After that ordeal, two weeks later I found a charge of $56 on my credit card from Enterprise, so I called them to see what that was about, and was told "Well, State Farm had told McCluskey that they agreed to pay $16.80 + tax per day, and the rental car that they chose for you cost $22.80 per day, so the difference was charged to your card", after I was told by the guy at McCluskey that State Farm would cover the entire cost of my rental car. When he called State Farm, they had authorized a rental car from Enterprise and told him that what they authorized was $16.80/day, but he apparently did not communicate that when he called Enterprise and told them to bring a car, therefore I was given a car that was larger/more expensive than what State Farm authorized them to give me, and yet was told by McCluskey that it would be completely covered.

Thankfully, State Farm was great about it and issued the extra money back to me, since the confusion wasn't my fault.

Needless to say, I won't be going back to this body shop anytime soon.

The McCluskey Service Center is terrible.  Their mechanics have difficulty correctly identifying problems, and fixing them once identified.  Here's a couple examples:

*I brought my car in for a failing water pump.  The Service Center told me my pump was fine.  Later that week, my water pump completely failed during a road trip.

*I took my car in to replace a failed headlamp switch that caused my headlights to not work.  The Service Center incorrectly installed the new switch.  Although the headlights now work, the right turn-signal does not.  Nice.

These guys are either horrible mechanics or just don't care.
