the worst..the manager didn;t seem to give  a s_ _t  about our potential purchase. the sales person was high pressured with no understanding of the psychology of spending outright cash to buy a new car. second bad experience with this dealership. we  walked out,  never looked back and there was not even a follow up phone call.

My first review on Yelp and it had to be about Plaza Honda Service. They are incompetent and extremely rude. My service representative DEMANDED me to stay so that they can service my car. I politely told him I wasn't going to wait 3 hours to be serviced that I was going to come next week. He made me sign some papers without telling what they were. He said "Just sign here" and walked away with the paper. After that I decided to leave.  Then he said per verbatim "Why are you leaving?  Just stay? When are you coming back? Just wait here" with a mean attitude. I was shocked and  requested my car. I always come  here to get my car serviced and many times I feel like I'm being punished by rude unprofessional people.  Like if I'm asking for free service.

Beyond poor. I went to Plaza ready to buy a car that day in cash. Told them exactly what I wanted. I researched both my trade in and new car prices. Both the car price and trade in price for my car were ridiculous. It was as if they wanted me to leave.

The salesman seemed to still be in training and his manager didn't seem to want to make a sale. We were buying a car that day and couldn't be easier customers. We even had the title to our trade in and could have taken the new car and gave them out car that SAME day! The trainer and his mgr wouldn't budge at all on their quote so we left and went to Bay Ridge.

Bay Ridge quickly negotiated both the trade in and the new car. We saved exactly $1k in one hour and that included the drive time from Plaza to Bay Ridge. We pick up the new car tomorrow. I realize there isn't much wiggle room on a 30k car but I'd rather have that $1k then the dealership take it!

PS Plaza didn't even call to follow up. It was such an easy sale that they lost so very quickly. I am sure their manager would be furious had he/she known.

My husband and I made an Internet inquiry about a couple of vehicles available at Plaza Honda. We received a prompt response from Kimberly Torres, Internet Sales Consultant, who responded to our inquiry via email and offered to help us in any way she could.

Kimberly also made herself readily available via phone and offered to set an appointment for us to come in and test drive the vehicles. She was nothing but kind and accommodating.

At our scheduled time, Kimberly welcomed us personally and made the in-person introduction to Danny Cossack, Sales & Leasing Consultant, who took over the process. Danny had such a mild manner with us, absolutely no pressure, and was very patient as we test drove and researched multiple vehicles.

Once we decided on the vehicle we purchased, Danny took us through the process without any issue. He was very good about keeping us informed and didn't waste any of our time. As he was working on processing all of our paperwork, Kimberly would stop by occasionally, checking in on us and ensuring we were having a positive experience. We could not have asked for nicer people to deal with.

When the car was inspected, plates installed and registration processed, Danny took us through all of the in-car technology and thoroughly explained the features -- he even setup my iPhone for the Bluetooth capabilities before I left the dealership.

From start to finish, our Plaza Honda experience was  positive, and I can't help but thank Kimberly & Danny for all of their stellar customer service!

I can only speak for the service center. Its annoying every time I come in someone is trying to sell me a new car! Like damn can I get an oil change in peace. I don't want or need anything else. The only upside is they have a waiting room with seats if you choose to wait, and a shuttle service.

Oh yea! And I hate that every time I get may car back they change my damn seat! Moving it back a bit so you can fit in is  fine, but once you drop the seat back so you can get comfortable as if it is your car is NOT OK!!!!

Yelp should really really allow zero stars. Where should I begin. I purchased a brand new 2014 Honda Accord from Plaza Honda. We worked with a gentleman named Richard. He was super easy to deal and took the time to answer any questions in detail.

Upon purchasing the vehicle, I was asked to write a review on social media. Well here I am! Since purchasing the car, it's been hell. I received a call from Honda financial company informing me that my payment was 12 days late. Which, is VERY strange, seeing as how my payment was auto-deducted from my checking account on the date the payment was due. I should also mention that we were signed up for something called the "Smart Payment Plan." Which i find out later is a third party company that splits your monthly payment in half, apparently making it more "manageable."

My husband called a total of 5 times before being able to speak to anyone. Once we spoke to someone about this supposed late payment, they explained to us that we needed to make an ADDITIONAL full payment the same month because they bill in advance. WHAAAT!??!!? So in essence, using the smart payment plan they proposed actually is a complete waste because it actually made my payment late. Also, why aren't my payments going directly to the bank!??!

My husband and I have called numerous times and left messages, in order to be removed from this scam of payment plan AND to get Plaza Honda to submit the payment I already made to the actual bank. OH! not to mention the fact that I've been hung up on a few times while waiting to speak to someone.  You'll notice they have inexperienced teenagers in the office handling your contracts and attempting to take care of your financial concerns. You'll notice that some of these teenagers do not even speak proper English and have no customers service skills (especially on the phone). FUN!

I pretty much plan on showing up to the dealership and raising hell, since they choose to ignore me otherwise.

In the event that someone from the company follows up and comments on this review (like they've been doing with other reviews) save it and don't bother because clearly you're not responsive when I call.)

Off I go to Twitter and other social media networks to spread my disdain.

Leased a new 2014 Honda Accord on April 25,2014. Went over all paperwork and wrote check for amount due . Never received my new car registration. After countless calls to my salesperson , Steve S. , he finally returned phone call to inform me that I owe Motor Vehicle Bureau an additional $133.50. No one ever contacted me about this and if not my phone calls to dealer , I surely would've received a ticket . Upon questioning my salesperson re: underpayment , he had an attitude and said "so I should pay this out of my salary?". Dealership received their $ , salesperson received his commission, they underpaid DMV and I had no recourse but to pay up . Not Happy and will not purchase from Plaza Automall ever again !!! If this review helps someone in the future , I'll feel redeemed.

It was a pleasure to do business with Junior as he was experienced in his field and he made me feel at home.  He was very thorough in briefing me with the options on the vehicle and I know I was in good hands.  I test drove the Honda Sport and I loved the car right away.  Junior explained to me everything that I needed to know and I walked off knowing that I would be back in a few years to lease another Honda.  I thank Junior for a great experience.  I rated him excellent in his field.

The staff is very professional and the service was great. Junior was very helpful and was always available to answer questions.  The negotiating process was quick and to the point with no time wasted. Overall I am very happy with their service. The Finance manager was also great, Erik, and very helpful. This is a calm selling environment and what I liked was that you dont get the hard core selling or the staff pushing the cars down your throat. Great!

Recently purchased a Honda Civic for my wife and let me tell you Plaza Honda was a breeze versus Bay Ridge Honda & even dealers outside of Brooklyn.

Plaza offers too many options on the block, but when you meet the right salesman your headache of comparisons and window shopping becomes easier. I dealt with a nice young man Jared, very energetic and ready to sell you the whole dealership.

His energy was exactly what we needed because we spent many hours going back and fourth between Honda, Hyundai, and Toyota until Jared's advice about Honda really stuck when viewing competitors models.

Everything was a breeze once we found what we liked, and Jared worked his magic to make us happy and to close a deal after a long days aggravation we may have caused.

I have received incessant mailers and phone calls from Plaza Honda and Honda in general despite 15 requests to be taken off their mailing list.  
The last few mailers have been requests to refinance my agreement with them, however I don't even have financing with them.
I have resorted to filing a complaint with the FTC against them.
Be forewarned......
Terrible experience, I would not recommend Plaza Honda.

Larry at plaza honda was a gem. He was calm and no pressure but once we went to the finance part, it was all downhill. We were quoted one price on the phone and showed up and was quoted 50 more per month with no explanation. I showed a better deal to the finance guy from another local dealership who tried to weasle his way out of his way higher price was tax included but the paper clearly said plus tax which I gladly pointed out.  My husband took out a calculator and did the math which was a good strategy because you can't argue with numbers.

In the end, I told them that they wasted our time by quoting one price and then when we got there changing it. They didn't even check our credit so there was no reason for the increase other than trying to take advantage of us. Ironically the finance guy said we were "all over the place" when in fact, their pricing was all over. He spoke loudly and I just can't get my mind around why someone would want to buy or lease a car from someone like that. If they gave us the price we were quoted on the phone, we would have taken it but not after how rudely we were treated. I felt the finance guy was insulting and I feel bad for nice honest people like Larry who have their sales compromised like that.

I had one of the most negative customer service experiences I've had at the Plaza Honda dealer.  I scheduled a time to test drive specific cars in advance, was confirmed to test drive three cars, and then confirmed on that date that I was going to come at the scheduled time.   When I arrived, the receptionist had my name recorded and found me one sales rep who proceeded to basically explain to me that none of the other reps wanted to attend to me because I was a woman alone, but that he would attend to me.  Then, a previous customer of his approached him and he passed me off to another sales rep who took me out to see the cars I was interested in.  However, in the middle of showing me one of the cars, he went inside and sent the receptionist out to "babysit" me while he was occupied with something else.  About 20 minutes later he returned and showed me a second car.  I reminded him that I wanted to test drive them.  He then went inside for another 10 minutes and returned saying that he had no license plates available to take me out for a test drive.  

I would discourage anyone from patronizing this dealer - I ended up leaving without getting what I had come for, and my husband and I were prepared to purchase a car in the upcoming weeks.  Needless to say, this locale definitely lost my business.
