Reviews on Kings County Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Trying to buy a new Trailhawk. Process is always ridiculous ...dickering over price is ok  in a used car but a new car.... All the silly back and forth.  A good repeat  buyer/great credit should get no hassle for a fair price.

Ok process was lengthy, but I love the car already. Thanks for your help Rick R

Okay okay it's time for my review. This dealership had been calling me all week to schedule an appointment because of my online interest with my bank's car buying program. The internet sales consultant Sharea called me on Thursday and let me speak with a salesman named Richard Reid and we then scheduled an appt for me to come in. From the moment that I walked into the dealership, I was welcomed by a pleasant receptionist. Within minutes of her calling Richard to notify him that I was there, he was there quickly which I liked and noted to myself. He offered me a cup of coffee and made it just the way that I like.....another plus for him. I loved his business ethics and his charismatic character as well which made my day a little better when I kept running into brick walls. My experience was awesome but that was because of Richard's complete dedication to pleasing his customers and oh yeah he bought me lunch and shared his cookies with me. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealership to go and see Richard Reid. He pushes but not too much to seem overbearing. I'm happy that I'm back on the road again. Beep beep watch out lol!

I previously wrote a review about this location which I do believe still stands but is not a reflection of everyone working here.
We had been car shopping for about 3 months with multiple disappointments at multiple Jeep dealership locations but that was all about to change when we gave Flatbush Jeep a second chance.
I were contacted by a Rep named Nigel from True Car, who I informed about my last terrible experience with this Flatbush Jeep dealership. He put me in contact with Richard Reid - Sales Rep.

Richard COMPLETELY changed ours minds about the entire experience at Jeep.  We met with Richard and explained to him all the ups and downs for the last 3 months we have encounter with multiple Jeep locations.  Richard promised he would make magic and find us the exact car we wanted! Still skeptical but in desperate need of help, we listed all the things we needed and wanted in our vehicle.
Goal: Sunset Orange Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, decent affordable price range, as soon as possible.
Richard took the time to listen to all our concerns and explained to us how the car shopping business works.  Richard was very optimistic (even though by this time we didn't even believe anything he was saying, but he surely proved us wrong).  Richard stated he would need a couple days to located the car.  Couple days passed and we get a phone call, the exact car we wanted was in White Plains and he would have it for us by the end of the week.  We were astonished by the amount of work, constant communication and excellent customer service he provided.  Richard single handedly changed our outlook on this dealership.  We picked up the car and signed papers and drove off with our brand new jeep within a matter of 35 minutes.  Richard was truly exceptional and gave us wonderful advice.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for a car to please contact Richard Reid! He will not let you down.  He's the Magic Maker!

Went there to  get a car, find a great deal with the price i wanted to pay. no waste of time, no game played. everyone was happy. Rick helped me got me on a new jeep grand Cherokee and let me parked my old benz there waiting for transportation.
Yes they dont have top of the line customer service, fancy stuff, however im not going there to  make friends and waste time, i go get a car. Rick was fast helping and very nice. its all i ask nothing less or more. $ stars not five because of the parking situation

Mike L. | 2015-02-27

They treat customers very poorly,  as if they are the dmv. No parking not even on the sidewalk

Amazing experience - going in I was very nervous but was put at ease after a few minutes of meeting Bruce and Al. Al Valoroso, Bruce Tannenbaum, and Diane Lansky went above and beyond. They understood my needs and budget and did everything they could to meet my guide lines. They are the ones to see when you get there. I left a very satisfied customer!! Thank you guys for making my car buying experience a pleasant one. Will go back when it's time to get the next car.

I will start by saying that the salesman, Eric, was amazing. He made the whole experience extremely comfortable and pleasant. Everything from the test drive down to the end, was great. My wife and I were there to trade-in our car, and lease something new. That part, was a success. I got the car I really wanted, in our budget, and really felt like Eric and the team there worked hard to make it happen. I gave a review to Jeep in the days after and gave 5 stars across the board. That ended up being a mistake.

So as I mentioned, we were there to trade-in my car. I had 1.5 years left on the finance term and about $7000 left on the loan. We sat, went over the numbers and eventually I handed over the title and signed the papers. Jeep was going to pay off the loan and I was going to leave with a new Jeep. Well, as it turns out, Jeep never paid my loan. Honda started calling my house and leaving me messages. I go online, and it shows that my payment is 32 days past due. That is now going to show on my credit report as a payment that is 30 days late. Which is absolutely Jeep's fault.

I send a VERY urgent email to the woman who handled the finances over at Jeep. I include a screenshot of my online account. It took 1 week for her to respond. When she did, all she said was "I will take care of it". 3-4 more days pass, the loan still shows unpaid. I start calling again. I get transferred all over the place, once to a different dealership all together. Eventually I get someone else in the finance dept., Michael. He says he has no idea why it hasn't been done, but he will take care of it. Said he is going to email the GM and the Controller and will call me first thing the next AM. The next day comes, and I don't hear from anyone. At nearly 3 pm, I start calling THEM. Again, after being transferred all over the place and becoming furious, I get a call back. It's Michael. The man I spoke with the day before. He started saying he was sorry, he was busy and he forgot. Now, since it was Friday, the check won't go out until Monday.

Then I just lost it. I couldn't get a hold of anyone there in upper management to resolve this. Nobody seemed to be taking it seriously. I wasted probably 2 hours at work on the phone and had to step outside because I was disrupting my whole office. I now have something detrimental to my credit and nobody to fix it. I asked to speak to the GM, he's not there. I said I was going down there on Saturday. Later that day I finally got a call back from the woman who we worked with when we got the car. The one that I emailed over a week ago.  After making a bunch of excuses and apologizing, she overnighted the check to Honda and it got delivered TODAY.

It's a shame how horrible the customer service and overall response to issues is. I gave them my time, my money and a 36 month commitment. What I got was incompetence across the board and a complete lack of management. Definitely considering my options once this lease is up, and if anyone asks me where to go, I will second guess sending them to Kings County Jeep.

The service center here is horrendous!!! Tommy is the manager and when I first met him he seemed like a down to earth genuine guy, trustworthy, honest. Well, was I ever wrong. They all feed you the same line of shit I guess and tell you what you want to hear. The mechanics honestly don't no there ass from there elbow & look stoned all the time. A friend of mine took in there srt8 and the so called specialist had no idea what he was doing and he's a sarcastic little SOB! It's very difficult finding good honest people nowadays especially in NY. Looks like I'll be going to jersey to get my car serviced not that I'm sure they are any better.

My wife and I walked in here to look at a Town and Country because of a rental we had. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by Sheer. She was pleasant and introduced us to our salesperson Richard but said we could call him Rich. He was pleasant and accommodating. He took us to the showroom and showed us around. We had our pick at any Town and Country we wanted. After looking around for a few minutes we found one that we liked. We decided to talk it over. While talking it over a beautiful cherry red Durango caught our eyes. This car was a beauty. My wife and I fell in love with it. We told Rich that we would prefer to have the Durango. He was excited for us and decided to show us the features of the model we had chosen. After a little while he took us through the paper work. While we were waiting the GM came over and introduced himself. He was pleasant and welcoming. While waiting for our paperwork to be completed a couple other cars were sold and left the showroom. This made us even more excited. Rich was able to get us the Durango we wanted at a monthly payment we could afford. These guys are great and have just made a customer for life. You won't regret buying a car here. Ask for Sheer. Tell her Andrew sent you.

I bought my vehicle to this dealership after the transmission failed on my 2014 dodge suv was towed into the service center and i was set up by a service advisor by the name of george was very pleasant and attentive as i explained my issue abt the informed me that a diagnostic will be performed and as soon as they find out what the issue is they will let me know whats wrong with the vehicle...he was also up front with me abt all the costs should they find that the malfunction was due to negligence and therefore not covered by warranty..

I called george the next day and he told me they needed to order a part for the transmission so he set me up with a rental car at an all car dealership....after several days my durango was ready to be picked up...when i picked up the vehicle, the car was working great except i had one car wash! I mean i know this is only a dodge but still it would have been nice if they at least hosed down the truck and wiped it dry before they gave it back, but oh well what did i expect...they performed the necessary repairs and thats it..if they at least did a car wash i would have gave it 4 stars but i guess they figured they just fix the truck and just hand it back since it was all covered by warranty and the dealership did not make a profit.....

The team at Kings is one of a kind!  Absolutely incredible experience.

Josh G. | 2014-05-23

This began as a very pleasant email exchange between myself and Stephen, one of Kings' salespeople. I explained my situation and he thought he could help me out.

On Mother's Day my girlfriend and I drove to Brooklyn from East Rutherford, NJ (first mistake). This took us 2 hours, but we went nonetheless to get my car appraised and talk new cars. We got there and were greeted by some gentlemen who told us Stephen was busy. We sat and waited. Stephen was working with other clients - but came over to say hello, get my key, and have my car appraised.

I should have known this was going to go bad when 2 random people who I was NOT working with, came up to me and quizzed me about my car and current loan, etc etc. And assured me that my car 'wasn't worth that much' and 'worth way less than I thought'. That's funny, because 2 other Jeep dealers and KBB say differently.

Stephen came back and said he had everything he needed and he would work up what they could do and email me the next day. So we were out of there pretty quickly to our delight.

I emailed to follow up the next day and Stephen immediately emailed me back assuring me I'd get an email by the end of the day. Here I am 11 days, about 8 emails, and 2 voice mails later with NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Literally ZERO communication about anything. Not even an email like: 'Hi Josh, I hate you so I can't sell you a car' or 'Your car is a piece of crap and we can't re-sell it'. NOTHING.

That in itself deserves 1 star. I am still baffled.

Car been in for service 3 times in just 2 weeks for the same problem (back up camera) and it messes up the same day I pick it up. Now it seems like they're dodging my calls when I call them 3 times a day and leave messages for them. Big headache!!!!

Charlene M. | 2014-04-22

Can i give -1 stars?? This dealership is an utter ripoff.  Very dishonest scammers who damaged my car in order to get me to give them money.  Went in for three recalls (free). They only did one and said they would call me when they had parts to complete the other two. Left me with punctured brake fluid lines so severe that I had to tow the car from them to a REPUTABLE dealership.  I left my car with no brake line issues just 4 hours before yet they insisted that they did nothing wrong. Now i just sent $1200 down the trash for what should have been a simple free recall. They were completely nonchalant,  accepted no responsibility and all sang the same scripted song to get me to leave the car with them.  If I had to pay to fix what they did, I chose to pay a REPUTABLE institution. Kings Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will never see a dime of my hard earned money.

I had a really great experience with George at kings Chrysler. He was a no pressure guy who took his time showing me the car features the day I came in and the day I came to get the car.

Thanks George!

I have been a member off the JEEP family for about 15 months and I have had to make a couple of trips to dealership on Flatbush Ave.  I have always been treated great and now even GREATER by new management Thomas DeSola I absolutely will always want to deal with him and of course Elaine. They are the best that dealership has.  It takes a lot going back and forth to dealership for different things but they always look out for me.. LOVE THEM

This dealership is a piece of shit. I purchased my vehicle January 2013, I asked for a car fax which was provide details to me at 13k miles however the miles at the time of purchase it had 37k miles. When I asked for an update was told I'd receive it the following day and never received it. Nonetheless I needed a car ASAP so I got my car checked over at sears. I was told all of my car needs would be addressed here and I wouldn't have to anywhere else for service. Not at all. They are not able to give a Nissan sentra an oil change... When I told them they've done it before,  it's OK bring it in. I purchased the extended warranty which NEW MANAGEMENT doesn't seem to want to honor.  Yes, I was scammed. Do not waste t our time with this dealership.

Horrible after sale service. I placed an order for a new charger in Jan and it was delivered to the dealership in Feb. I went to pick it up, and turn my old car in as a trade. I advised the sales man that the insurance company needed a copy of the window sticker and lease agreement faxed to them asap. They assured me that everything would be taken care of. I had my registration switched, but no one failed to tell me that while I was inside, my old car was ticketed. I was responsible for the ticket because I kept my old plates. Ok fine, at this point nothing can burst my bubble cause I'm excited about my new car.

About a month later I was alerted by my bank that a payment was due on my old car. I'm thinking WTF? I traded it in for this new car and the dealer agreed to pay it off. My attempts to contact the finance guy were in vain so I had to drive to the dealership to straighten out the trade pay off. The finance guy told me that they forgot to submit the check to the bank because someone was on vacation at the time the trade was accepted. SERIOUSLY?!

Ok, so last week I got a letter from my insurance telling me that my window sticker and lease agreement have to be mailed in or else my insurance will be suspended in 15 days. I go back to the dealership to let them know that the insurance company has not received what's required to keep the car insured. My sales man leaves me a message saying that the window sticker should be in my glove box, and he just faxed a copy of the lease agreement to the insurance company.

I get a call from the insurance company today telling me that I need to fax the lease agreement over asap or else the insurance will be cancelled. Big surprise the dealership had not faxed anything to the insurance company. I went ahead and gathered the documents and faxed it in. I could not believe how negligent this dealership was. It seemed all they cared about was the actual sale and didn't give a crap about shit else. Needless to say I will not lease/purchase my next vehicle from this dealership.

I brought my car in to be serviced here.  Drove about 45 minutes because wanted a tune up from a jeep dealer.  A part that was supposed to be replaced was not and later found this out a week after.  The manager said he would compensate me for this mistake. When i brought the car back they made the part change-clearly could see it was a new part, but then was not given any compensation.  He basically lied on the phone to me.   They also had my car for over 10 days. On top of this my car received 2 tickets while in their care.  They took them off the car and threw them away.  I now have a letter for $250 from a collection agency.  They are ignoring my requests to get compensated for these tickets.  If you enjoy unduring torture bring your car to these people for a simple tune up.... If their service dept is this crooked you can imagine their sales.
