Do not buy from this place.  They try to lure you in with a deal that seems really good, but the price you see is either:
a) the down payment for a lease (which is not mentioned anywhere on the page for the car)

b) the price for the car when it was still there, but mysteriously got sold before you arrived.

So their business practices are questionable, but you would potentially be saved by good customer service from their staff, right? WRONG!

the man who I was working with (Karim) really tries to make himself appear like:
1. the good guy who is working for a company with shady business practices
2. he's the only honest guy who works  at that dealership

unfortunately, I was sold, and I didn't walk away when I knew I should have.  I purchased a car from him (which he made appear like a side sale, so he could pocket the money).  he gives a sob story about how he has a kid on the way, and that this would really help him out.  i purchased a car for cheap, but I was under the impression that it needed some minor repairs.  

at this point, you may be thinking that I should have brought it to my mechanic, but I am from the Bronx, and this is a very long way away to see my mechanic.  I didn't listen to my gut and I bought it anyways, figuring I could handle a minor repair job.

upon bringing the car home, I get it to my mechanic,  the car could not even pass inspection.  I get told that the car should have been totaled. the cost to get the car to a point where it could just pass inspection would be more than I paid for the car (and more than it was worth).  this car should not have even been on the road, let alone, up for sale from a "dealership".  we even found a jumper which was bypassing the signal from the engine light.  the engine light would've been the first signal that something was really wrong.

my next step was to look into the lemon law, but remember when I mentioned that he did this as a side sale? he put on the bill of sale that this car was a gift, and tells you that you can save money by not paying tax for the car.  so, legally, I didn't have proof of sale.  all I had was my bank statement showing that I pulled out $x,xxx.xx in cash.

now, you can read all of this, and think that you are a much better shopper than I am (I am admittedly naive and a poor shopper/haggler), but what about all the things you don't see? (i.e., a jumper bypassing a warning symbol).  

companies like this don't deserve your money.
people like Karim don't deserve your money.
and you don't deserve the headache and worries.
take your money elsewhere, and learn from my naivety.
