Worst service center I've ever been to.  I have a 2003 Acura TL and took it in because of a noise coming from the back and an ignition problem I was having.  They charged me $930 in labor just for front and back brakes, cleaning the fuel injectors, and a new right rear caliper.  No one from the service center called me to tell me it would be done last night so I called them and they told me to come down and by the time I got there, it would be ready.  Coming from work and knowing they closed at 7, I told them I could make it by 7:15 and if they could wait for me. The cashier wouldn't wait. Then this morning I went to pick it up and they don't take credit cards over the phone.  They also don't have payment plans. Do they really think people living in NYC have $1400 just laying around to pay for car repairs? It's just very badly organized, poor communication and bad customer service.  I wouldn't mind the VERY EXPENSIVE labor charges if I actually got good service. Never again!

I recently purchased an Acura MDX from Acura of Brooklyn. I was undecided between a certified preowned or brand new vehicle for several months. I had the good fortune of working with Adrina and Shawn S. at Acura. They were very professional and consistent with follow up calls and weekly updates about the current  pre owned inventory, including photos which met my color and mileage criteria. I never felt any pressure throughout the process.  When I finally decided to make the investment in a new Acura MDX, Fabio  and Robbie were more than fair in negotiating the final price and gave me a great deal on my 2007 CRV trade in. Finally, Vicki was patient and very thorough as she spent close to an hour in walking me through all of the cool features of my New Acura MDX.  I will highly recommend Acura of Brooklyn to my family, friends and co workers.

I just leased my beautiful Acura RDX with Tech package from Acura of Brooklyn.  Shawn Stephens was my Sales Rep.  This gentleman went above and beyond his call of duty. He was very personable, professional, answer my many questions and made sure I left with the biggest smile on my face on the same day I arrived.  How did I leave with a smile?

He ensured I drove off with my 2015 Acura RDX on the same day! This is NOT My first Lease...but it is my first with Acura of Brooklyn! Trust me it won't be my last :)

In addition...Shawn made sure he addressed all of my concerns and relayed them to management accordingly.
I really didn't have too many concerns...since this dealership truly rolls out the red carpet for you.

In the process of shopping for a compact SUV, the RDX was a candidate that I was researching.  I didn't make an appointment & walked in looking for a salesman to set me up with a test drive for the RDX.  I already did my homework in terms of learning about the cars features.  I really only required a test drive to gauge how comfortable I would feel in it.  At this point I haven't decided on a committing to a vehicle yet.  Taking all this into account, the Plaza salesperson was fairly accommodating.  If I decide to purchase the Acura, this review will be updated to reflect the overall purchase experience as well.

My 2010 Acura MDX has a serious oil consumption issues that Acura of Brooklyn  has been unable and unwilling to fix.  When I called Acura Corp customer relations and spoke with Kyle Green I was told that it is acceptable for Acura cars to lose 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles.  So therefore if you drive 4,000 miles and your car has no oil left????? that is normal????  The answer Acuras gives me is that the policy is that you can lose 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles.  I had an oil consumption test which proved there is an oil issue of 1 quart per one thousand miles, but they are unwilling to perform an oil consumption test at 3,000 or 4,000 miles (which would show there is virtually no oil left in the car (they also refuse to perform a pressure test or fix the car). How can it ever be normal that there is NO OIL LEFT in a car after 4,000 miles???? Why cant Acura fix my car which is still under warranty????........How can you treat your customers like this?????The Acura of Brooklyn dealership and Acura corp are unwilling to fix the oil consumption issue despite the fact my car is still under warranty.

My husband and I bought a new Acura RDX yesterday.

We have been car shopping for a year. We must have put 100+ hours into researching and going to dealerships (including other local Acura dealerships).  This was our first new car purchase so we took the process very seriously. We've literally sat in almost every brand of car (Kia, Benz, Volvo, Honda, Hyundai, Toyota, Audi, Lexus, Fiat, BMW). We loved that Acura had a lot of included features(including power passenger seats which proved to be very important to me), were comfortable and had a clean design aesthetic.  

Last week we went for a test drive with our salesman Chris. We already knew we loved the car going in.    He was never pushy. It was his first week on the job so he was still learning things about the car, but he let us know that this dealership had new management and almost all new staff and they were determined to turn around their reputation.  We came back a few days later because the sales manager was not there.

We met Robbie, the salesmanager, the next time we came in.  He told us he would top any price and he did.  He is hungry to get this dealership in shape.  He seems to treat his employees well and he seemed very genuine and not pushy. He also responded to our emails and texts in a timely manner.

The finance manager was not pushy either when we said we didn't want any add-ons like the extended warranty.  He did make a few mistakes on the paperwork including the loan amount (which is a significant mistake) so do read over everything carefully.

I would give Chris and Robbie 5 stars.

The finance manager 3 stars.

The dealership gets 4 stars. They need some work but their heart is in the right place. I hope they turn this place around because the dealerships in Brooklyn are awful and this place has a lot of potential.

As a current Acura customer I was looking into getting a New MDX. I was a little reluctant to call Acura of Brooklyn at first because I had heard some negative reviews in the past. After calling and dealing with some other dealerships I ended up walking into Acura of Brooklyn just to do a test drive. I really had no intention to buy from them but they were the closest to me so I figured I would go there then end up buying somewhere else. After I walked in I was lucky enough to speak to the new Manager there. I was treated very well and we got right to talking and his goal was to get me the vehicle I wanted at the best possible price. After about 10 minutes I was walking out with the MDX I wanted at a great Price!
I would definitely go there first if you are looking for a new Acura.

I recently bought an Acura from this dealership.  Extremely positive experience.  The sales manager Robbie and the sales consultant Rex were professional and genuine.  Comparing with a competing dealership in the area, they earned the business by showing their eagerness without being pushy, being extremely responsive to my questions and requests, offering a competive pricing and most importantly respecting the customer. The financing manager Tom was great too, professional and down to earth. I will definitely recommend Acura of Brooklyn to my friends.

So far I have no compliments against them.  People here really do a great job! You're insured with them if anything happens after their work. They are nice people and very reliable. I highly recommended them because they use authentic parts made by the actually car company.
Btw I thought I didn't required some of the stuff they recommended ended up messing my car up and regretted not getting what was recommended.

I'm dumb in cars but I trust them with mines.

I wish I could give this dealership  0 stars. This possibly has to do with the sales person we were dealing with.. but it matters not. We were there to check out the MDX, took a test drive, (with the sales guy in the backseat directing us where to drive. Uggh, Ok annoying but no biggie) Got back to the lot and that's where the hard sell began. This guy was a walking car salesman cliche from top to bottom. After enough of our questions were either dodged or directed back at us we got up and left. Looking for an Acura? Avoid this place.

I was so excited to buy the MDX Tech& Entertainment, a $52K car. I went twice and each time I felt I was buying a $20K car. The salesman never got back to me with financial information. I called twice to make sure they will have the RDX and MDX ready for me to test drive. When I arrived, they had no record of my request. When I visit other car dealers for comparable cars, I got a phone call the next day from a manager thanking me for coming. From what I gather the other Acura dealers are not much better...
