Don't believe a word they tell you.

I bought my first car here a 2006 Kia Rio, I trade in my old car $0 down and had myself a 2006 Rio with a $300 a month car payment.

Seemed quite reasonable to me.

Then things began to turn. One day the Service Engine Soon light came on 2 days after I had the 30K mile tuneup done for $300. I immediately called the dealership & took it in.

When I arrived at 8 am they told me it may be awhile so I went to grab a bite to eat and check out the nearby area.

When I returned at Noon I thought I should know something, but they hadn't even begun anything yet so they told me they could get me into a 2008 for the same price.

What harm could that do to look around & see what I could be driving for the SAME $. After several hours the salesman had worn me down I decided why NOT. They had me sign a few papers and handed me the keys & I drove home a NEW car. Sweet.

Well 6-7 days later I get a letter & a call saying my credit has been denied and I have to take the car back & they still haven't even bothered looking at my other car that I originally brought in to have ficxed under warranty.
They decided they would finance me themselves and that was the end of it. I thought

Well 2 weeks later I got a call telling me I would be paying a car payment of $475 not $300. I told them I could NOT afford that much.

Well for 9 months I dilegently came up with the money and made my payments on time, now with my company filing bankruptcy & my income now being unemployment they refuse to refinance me and threaten if I am 30 days behind they will repo my car. My interest is 28% & the credit union said my credit is good enough they would refi @7% before my change in employment status. The people at Kia are a bunch of greedy coniving thieves in my opinion.
