Friendly people and good price for a smog check with their unlock yelp offer. It took a little longer than it has at those small, smog only stations, but I would go back.

Really like this mechanic shop a lot! My family and I been here much more frequently than we would have liked, but fortunately the guys at this shop have always steered us in the right direction. Just recently my sister needed work done on her car and what would have been way too expensive was manageable because they gave us a pretty good deal on the parts and work (The few other times I came here, they did the same). Of course they have to make money themselves so it's not gonna be dirt cheap but compared to many other shops I've gone to, they have the best prices and are honest and customer oriented. For basic work like smog or oil change, this place is great to get maintenance work done really cheaply. For more intensive work, get a quote from this place and see what happens.

Came in for a smog check which by the way is $7.77 when you check in on yelp and Mark was fantastic! After my smog check he also showed me how my fluids were good and gave me recommendations on future maintenance needs for my car. Nothing pushy at all. Great service and I'll definitely be back for my oil changes here.

I went in today to get an oil change.   They noted that I was leaking radiator fluid from a couple spots and showed me where it was.  They priced out the job for me and sent me on my way.  John the owner was there while I was there and we talked about my car.  He is very knowledgeable about general problems in my car.  I mentioned a problem with Oldsmobile Alero security light issue.  He told me right away what the problem was off the top of his head.  I called another shop previously about this exact same issue and they wouldn't even consider doing anything without doing an electrical diagnostic test first for 100 bucks.  

Extremely customer service oriented.

Its been awhile since i re-reviewed this place. I have brought my VW Jetta here before an always a good job. This time brought my moms car a '03 Toyota Camery.  She's taken to the dearlership to have work done an was very expensive of course. Oil change an  breaks needed done an a axel was broken. So over all it would alot of work an extemely costly at the Toyota place. Suggested about taking the car to USA Auto Service since i take my jetta for major repairs. Giovanni was friendly an helpful an Jay was awesome. Jay gave me a great price an a discount on a synthetic oil. Over all it was around $460. Moms very happy an so I am as well. Again I recommed going here for repairs.

They just made my year! I went in for a smog check a little before closing to take advantage of their Yelp deal and was very impressed with their customer service! Very welcoming and inviting and nice waiting area. To top it all off they decided to give me a complimentary smog....I mean really! After the few weeks I've had its great to know that places like this still exist. I know I only came for a smog check but looks like they do it all and witnessed the great customer service as they greeted other customers!

After calling and going to millions of auto repair shops that was over pricing me $1400 or more just to replace motor mounts for my vehicle was becoming very stressful ..thank god I found USA auto! They were extremely nice and was willing to work with me the best they could! I could have not been more thankful! My car was well taken care of and fixed for a price that was very reasonable not only that but they went the extra mile to get my car done in a timely matter ! Thanks USA! You guys were awesome!

Awful experience.  I was in vegas for a wedding, drove in from LA, when my Prius broke down.  The "front man" of USA Auto assured me he knew how to handle Priuses and not to worry.  I immediately felt like he was working manipulative charm.  He tried to scare me right up front that I would need a $6000 new distributor.  He convinced me to pay $50 and then $300 next day to bring in his "Prius specialist".  I was under time pressure to get to a wedding and then drive back the next day but agreed.  I called repeatedly the next day for an update and only got vague things like "Good news.  We don't know what it is yet but we think it's not going to cost that much.  We're still running tests."  By late afternoon it was clear they had no idea what they were doing.  I got a tow truck and got the car the f out of there.  I took it to the dealer, who promptly discovered there was diesel in my gas tank (!!!), and I was out the door in a matter of hours.  I have a suspicion I simply had a bad battery, and that USA Auto actually put diesel in my gas tank to mess with me after things turned sour...but no way to verify.  Also they made a big deal about retaping the electrical wires coming from my 12V battery, like they were big heroes or something....completely pointless. The tow truck driver we got a ride with just laughed at their amateur-hour manipulation games and shook his head.

At best, these guys are extremely sketchy and bad at their job.  At worst, they actually sabotaged my car!

These guys are awesome! Moved out here from San Diego about 2 years ago, had my 91 honda civic for a little over a year, and they have always taken good care of me. Very fair on prices and never try to push BS repairs on you. Ask for the manager Mark (the guy with the goofy glasses) and he'll take care of you.

Courteous. Professional.  Stands behind their work.  Took my car in for their $12 smog service.  Watched and listened to their counter person, Josh (huge people skills) deal with all kinds of customers.  He and the manager were first class.  The manager pointed out what I might want to repair in the near future.  No pressure, just kind information I would not have known unless someone who knew what they were doing pointed it out for me.  They are now my auto service business.

Following my last  oil change at USA auto...
A couple days after my home owners association left a note telling me to clean the oil on my drive way or I'd be fined.
I look on my driveway an what do you know.. There's a bunch of oil under where I park my car!!
Before this my car didn't leak any thing..
So I look under my hood an oil is all over the engine, it's a big mess. Seeing this I decide to take it back to usa auto to have them explain what the problem is.

I check my car in and I'm waiting over an HOUR. They tell me the person who worked on my car prior to them broke a vent tube leading from the valve cover and they jury rigged it.. So now the vent is blocked with a bolt instead of the tube being connected to let air pass through.  Now oil spills out of the dipstick.
Funny.. I've had the car 2 months with no issues, under the car was dry with no so sign of leaking an the engine bay was clean prior to these guys changing my oil.
They bring me out to the garage to show me the problem and explain they can give it a temporary fix or if I want to pay for them to fully fix it they will.
Needless to say I took my car away and I'm having my buddies car shop in north Vegas fix it. Not convenient.. But why would I have these guys work on my car if they broke shit on it already?
This shop is very shady from my experience.

Well I have to send these folks a major shout out. Without getting into gory details these guys did the right thing!  My car gave them grief but they plowed through and got it resolved.  They have honored the work they've doge and I highly recommend this shop.  They are honest !!!  I'll be back!  Hitch

First of all I rarely trust any auto mechanic and when I do it's because I've had multiple good experiences with the same shop.  So far this is the case with the Ft Apache store.  I've taken all three cars there, all older models, 2001 and two 2005's.  Have had all three smogged there and and one for complete fluid changes.  They never gave me the run around of needing this or that done.  They told me the air filter was dirty and showed it to me.  Said power steering fluid was burned and recommended I flush and replace.  They offered an estimate if I wanted to come back to fix.  What???  You mean everything won't fall apart if I don't do it NOW?  For a meager fifty bucks do it now.  Always friendly and professional.  So why not five stars?  I'm still evaluating them.  They have to earn my trust.  So far, so good.  Going to take my 2005 Jeep in due to overheating.  Let's see what they come up with then and I'll adjust up or down.  I really want to find an honest shop and hope they don't disappoint.

Alright. Total, I've had my transmission flushed, oil changed, radiator flushed, brakes, pads and calipers replaced, and front ball joints on my drivers side replaced. I don't know if the employees and management have changed, or what, but I saw none of the behavior or problems that the negative, one star reviews mentioned. Great customer service, the mechanics actually walked me out into the garage to show me every bad part. To me, most honest thing a mechanic has ever/could ever do. So I don't know what these negative reviews are talking about. (Nor is most of what they are saying comprehensible so...)

After all this work done, my car feels better then it ever has. Dillan (Dunno if that's how to spell it) was the kid working on my car. So props to his work. They have competitive prices, and from what I could see while I was watching them work they are thorough. I'll continue bringing my vehicle here. Next I gotta get my battery cables replaced.

Note: I'm giving 4 out of 5 because of one small thing. When I was shown how bad my ball joints were during my brake job, the guy showing me (pretty sure he's not a mechanic) gave me an off-the-top-of-his-head estimate that was MUCH higher then it should have been. After talking with the mechanic dillan, and the girl that works the counter there a few days later, I found out it was a much more ideal price to get it done. Sooo...lesson learned, get the quote done AT the computer. Not a big deal really. These guys are great.

So I drove my Volvo to vegas last May and when I got there my battery died at the restaurant. So I saw this shop by it at first they were helpful to jump start my car but the battery needed to be replaced since it won't charge. My car is 11 years old but only has 30k miles and was pampered and maintained by volvo dealers only. Now these guys were saying oh it's my alternator that it needs to be replaced and something was wrong with my starter. In our heads we were thinking no f'ing way that could happen and we know how to work on cars too. We told them just to change the battery. Now all of a sudden they said they don't sell batteries and bullshit saying good luck making it way back to LA. Anyway to make this story short we got a battery and 3 months later my car is still running. Locals and visitors beware if you need your car serviced don't listen to this shops bullshit. To try and make you spend hundreds of dollars on things that isn't even broken in your car.

Came in to get my brakes checked as I was hearing a grinding noise every time I braked. Well no surprise but of course it wasn't making the noise when I pulled in. Was greeted by Frankie at the front desk. Really nice and knowledgable. Told him my problem and they immediately got my car up on the rack. The girl at the counter, Melisa, got my info and asked if I wanted my tires rotated for free while it was up in the air. I said sure why not? Frankie came back in and grabbed me to show me what was going on. Told me I only needed rear pads and to have those rotors machined. Said my front brakes were fine. Whew! Big relief! Then Frankie tells me I can get a free oil change too if I download the shop's new app. Free oil change just for downloading an app?! Done! I go back into the lobby and Melisa helps me download the app. I check out the app and there's some other coupons on the app too. Nice to have for next time. Total time for my car was less than 2 hours and Frankie gave me an amazing deal. Can't complain about free tire rotation and oil change. Will be back again!

Do not EVER go to this Shop!!!! WORST experience! I originally took my car here for a simple oil change, before my 3 mo. Mark even hit my car stopped on me and I found out it was completely out of oil. Which if they really put oil in it this should've never happened. So I took my car back to the shop And found out that my engine had blew out due to no oil being inside. Because the shop knew they were at fault the "owner" john offered us a "deal" originally they said they would put a new engine in for $1850 I was happy with that because I know how expensive a new engine can be. They originally said the job would take 2-3 days to complete, ok fine. We paid $700 first then we were told the entire job would be $2,200 then we gave another $1,100 it was not done that week. The "manager" rob said that they had to fix the bottom half & then hthe top half( but it's a new engine right). We spoke with the manager who informed us he would have the owner call us with details, a few moments later the manager called back stating that the owner was out of town for his daughters graduation. (Really)... Now it's creeping up to two months that this shop has had my car and keeps giving me the run around. The cops can't do anything so now I'm looking to sue in small claims court. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!

Just  visited this place a few days  ago,  nice management.  However  I brought in  my own  oil (MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC)  you  know  those run about $9-$11 depending on where you purchase.   brought 5 quarts to the shop when my vehicle only takes  4 quarts of oil 2010 Honda  civic,  long story shh short left thinking they  put the other  quart  in the back  seat or trunk  as other shops do.  NO not this shop they kept it.  Came back a week  later asked them and they could  not give me an answer on to what  had happened  to the other  quart.  Dishonest  mechanics  will not visit this place  any time rather have an honest  mechanic  where  I know everything they say  is true and honest.

Awesome place. Awesome employees.  I have been there twice Since February; once for smog check which they did for almost half price of everywhere else and yesterday for a more major problem. I haven't had my car serviced in a very long time because of not having a job and being on unemployment. On Wednesday evening as I was turning a corner my battery and brake light came on very dimly and the steering became very difficult. I got the care home then had to work Thursday so I drove to work. Same problem as night before. When I got off work I drove to USA Auto and as best I could described the problem.
I though I was going to have to rent the car but they got my car in diagnosed the problem gave me the price (with a small discount) gave me the amount of time for repair (that evening) and then finished 15-20 minutes early. I call a friend of mine who is a mechanic in another city and was relaying everything they were telling me during the diagnostic and my friend told me pricing and time schedule were right on the money.
Would go back in a heartbeat and am recommending them to everyone that I know.

This place was very bad, Earlier this year I went for a simple oil change & they tried to kill my van.
I was showed  how much oil was leaking out after the oil change & was told that the oil pan was old and the threads were stripped and a new one was needed and I would have to pay for it, I told them it was not doing this when I brought it in and they should pay for the oil pan. After some discussion I was escorted off the property by the manager and a mechanic and my van was parked in the lot leaking oil very badly. I then drove to the Firestone at the Boulevard mall and was properly told that USA Auto Service had stripped the bolt not the pan and very more simple less costly fix was done. USA Auto Repair, 1,striped the bolt for the oil pan. 2, did not take the time to diagnose what had been done wrong. 3, tried to charge for a more costly unneeded repair. 4, moved a customer's vehicle out of the shop with a potentiality damaging engine condition which it had not arrived in. This is true and I have the receipts to prove it.
