Reviews on Reliable Auto Sales

Worked with Shana, she was a joy to work with! She and the finance team understood what I was looking for and how I had a budget to keep in mind while looking.
They didn't bother with trying to make a deal, just with what we needed - very refreshing in a car dealership!

I live in San Antonio Texas and found a audi a4 on car guru.  The price of the car was to good to be true so I called reliable auto sales and spoke with Damont.  He was so nice and helpful that it almost made me suspicious.  Being in Texas I had to send an auto loan check to hold the car.  Sending a place I had never seen  a 25000 check made me nervous.  Damont was great and assured me of reliable autos integrity and high standards.  He could not have been more right.  They held the car for me for over a month never cashing the check.  When I saw the car yesterday 4/7/15 it exceeded my expectations.  This place is the real deal!!!!  Great deals, great cars and great people.  Hard to believe the 2 bad reviews when I had such a great experience. There were deals all over the lot and the selection of high end cars was amazing.  As for Damont he could not have been nicer and more engaged in helping me purchase this great car.  Thanks guys.

****Beware beware beware****
I haven't even gotten serious on a deal with Dumont Heggs and already there has been a rude aggressive "well then don't do business with us" sales technique which led to an argument with Mr Heggs with the final words from Dumont being "I don't know how we got off on the wrong foot, but I am going to excuse myself from this conversation"

I went in on Sunday March 22, 2015 at approximately 4:45 pm and saw Gary who assigned Mr Heggs to assist me. I expressed interest in a 2007 Nissan Armada listed at $17,995 on a craigslist post. Dumont was pretty much standing there waiting for me to do all the talking so I had to mention that I was looking for more information on the car. I asked to see the carfax because he wasn't saying anything about the car at all. Like 1 owner, car options, price etc. I mentioned that I would like to know more about the car at least three times with a bunch of rude body language gestures and responses. He was being very vague and saying he didn't know and that carfax is not always reliable it's just a database of information that could or could not be accurate... At least it did a better job then Dumont in letting me know more about the car. So I ignored the vague and rude sales technique and continued asking if I can take it on a test drive. I told him I wasn't there to kick the tires on the car and explained I had a $10k down payment and would finance the rest I am a serious buyer. I asked "do you guys have it listed for $17,995" he immediately stopped me and said no that's the cash price the finance price is $18,999. After the test drive I asked if I can get a copy  of the carfax even though Dumont considered it to be a database of potentially un-useful information. He complied then gave me his business card and pointed out his cell phone number and told me he was there to help even after hours.

When I got home I got back on craigslist looking at Nissan Armadas  and noticed the same Armada from Reliable Auto Sales posted up for $16,995 so I called Dumont and mentioned this. There was a long pause he said that was the cash price. So I asked the sticker on the car says $18,999 you said the cash price is $17,995 and you're also saying the $16,995 is cash price as well?

Buying a car is one of those things where it's not black or white there is a grey area in the middle making a deal sometimes allows for negotiation so I feel I did nothing wrong by asking about the 3 different prices. His response was " NO! YOU said it was $17,995 I just agreed because I hadn't seen the new price, when the market changes our owner goes in and adjusts the post on Craigslist" I was there and took a test drive and got the carfax I spent a good 45 min at that establishment if he didn't want to take a look at the price in his office and tell me more about the car that's a forgivable mistake but when you start pointing fingers at a potential customer that's when people won't do business with you Dumont... He made it seem like there are hundreds of people flocking to their yard in search for the long lost 2007  Nissan Armada and they are hand selecting who they will allow to buy the car. Putting words in my mouth making scenarios that I was thinking he was being shady I had no choice but to correct him and say no that's not what I mean (I was honestly just looking for more info on the car for the millionth time) as I was trying to explain this he was talking over me repeating my name 7 times as I was talking I had to stop and listen to him be rude and switch the scenario on me as if everything is my fault why I didn't know what the price is.. Such a simple little thing. He went on to say "this is how we do things if you don't like it I can talk for me, my GM, and the owner as they will tell you the same : don't do business with us." At this point I became 100% certain that I would never do business with them but I wasn't going to let him word the conversation and scenario in a way that made it seem like it's all my fault that I don't know the price on the car lol!! Mr Heggs you sir are the ambassador to Reliable Auto Sales and as the first point of contact you should explain more about the car especially the price and what it is listed as. Your customer doesn't do the job for you you, but trying to explain this to Mr Heggs would make him repeat your name 7 times in an attempt to shut you up and allow his version of the situation to be the "truth"

Mr Heggs please work on your attitude and overall sales technique because bullying people into a sale making it seem like you had no clue what the price on the car was when all you had to do was take a quick look when you probably knew what it was listed for on Craigslist and were trying to get it sold at the higher price then being rude about it instead of saying something like" sorry you're right even better for you so when can we make this deal happen" is completely wrong!!

This place used to be great but recently I'm not sure if they've changed owners or what but the place is an absolute ghost town. For starters the car selection isn't what it used to be and the cars that are there are way overpriced. The sales people are rude an immediately want to run your credit, and you can tell the place is suffering by the lack of enthusiasm. As many car dealers as Vegas has, this place better step their game up because word of mouth is everything and sadly they left a bad taste in mine. #poor management #horrible car selection #unmotivated staff #terrible customer service I wouldn't  refer my worst enemy to this dump.

Bought my charger here last year and I'm in still in love with it! the guys there were super cool and I didn't feel any pressure when buying. They were upfront about what i qualified for vs what I wanted. But most of all the service dept. first of all I hate car repairs as every other single woman but the great part this place is that u get a discount on labor! and not no nickle n dime either even with an expired warranty! Mike and Angie (I think sorry if I'm wrong) are honest on what's priority along with cost management in mind for their customers!

Bought over 20 cars myself here! And referred at least another 20 people here!
Great Pricing and great cars. Never been duped here!
Financing possibilities like nowhere else.
Dave is the man to talk to and if he doesn't get it done you clearly can't buy a car.
Mary is the sales agent you want to use!
Arman the owner will get you any car you want for the best price!
