Reviews on Las Vegas Motorcars

Just recently I traded for a Chevy Volt from Las Vegas Motorcars.  I found the listing online, called, and Todd let me come in on a Saturday when they are normally off.  This dealer is indoors, and as soon as I stepped in the garage, I was blown away.  The place is spotless!  In his giant garage there was a V12 Mercedes right next to a Camry, and both looked equally in amazing shape.  Every car there is perfectly clean: inside outside, and especially engine bay.  All the cars are parked with their hoods open, so nothing is hidden.  Todd even washes his cars in Reverse Osmosis purified water, more pure than most bottled water!!  The staff was awesome to work with, and I got a great deal for my trade.  This kind of dealer is rare and I highly recommend it.

My husband and I were faced with having to replace a car a year earlier than we would have liked after a car accident. We went out to the big dealerships on Friday looking at used cars, and every time we found one we liked at the max of our budget, we were then also told about various extra fees. For example, one of the Acura dealerships on Sahara pointed toward the fine print on their online auto ads and tack on an extra $900+ to the advertised internet price.

We went home and slept on how much we really wanted to put into a car at the moment and decided to lower what we were looking at to get us through at least next year. Cue a lot of research the next morning on a much lower budget. Long story short, we ended up at Las Vegas Motorcars on Saturday morning to look at a Toyota Camry. We stopped here first because their Camry was a 2010 with 50K miles priced similar to the larger dealerships for 2007 Camrys around 80K miles. The CarFax looked great for it with regular maintenance you'd hope for on a used 5 year old car, so it seemed too good to be true when comparing it to the other places.

They have an inside showroom. You wouldn't really know they have cars for sell when driving by, but as soon as you're taken to the back you go into a warehouse with some really beautiful cars. We did a walk around of the Camry, got the scoop from Todd on it's history (trade-in), and took it for a test drive. We told Todd our budget, and though there wasn't any negotiation, we knew from research this Camry was 3 years newer and 25K miles less than other used Camrys of the same price. Before we even test drove the car he gave us a print out with a break down of the price of the car, taxes, ect. We thought it was a great deal, there were no unexpected "fees" (I'm looking at you Acura of Sahara with your $900 something dollar fee for NOTHING).

Left to go eat lunch while they did the paperwork, came back and within 10 minutes we were out the door in a new car. Easy peasy. Really impressed by the quality of the cars we saw in the showroom, and a really easy car buying experience. Happy to recommend!

I want to preface this by saying, this is an honest review by and honest buyer. My experience with Todd was smooth during the 90% of the process however, when we got to the "paper work" All of a sudden he was in a rush to have sign docs asap and didn't explain the breakdown of the total cost.

I realized after reviewing all the paper work their was an ABSOLUTELY UNTOLD $300 PROCESSING FEE! Not once did he mention a $300 fee which is essentially a extra tax that was throw on top. If he told me before hand that would be more acceptable.

However, more upsetting than the fee was the owners attitude when I call him out on it, he basically turned into a petulant child yelling and cursing at me for asking for a $200 refund. He eventually promised to refund $200 but failed to deliver and I never received the refund, thus I had to write this review today.

UPDATE: Had the Porsche is the shop for the 60K tuneup and their was a major oil leak from the "Oil Separator" that cost another $575 to fix, thank Todd for not inspecting your own vehicle before selling it to me! Buyer Beware!

I had to replace the family SUV, and I had limited time and limited funds.  They were accommodating with the test drive and finalizing the deal.  All their vehicles are super clean, top quality.  If your tired of the vultures (salespersons) at the big dealerships, be sure to check them out!  You'll be glad you did.
