I just purchased a 2014 Range Rover Sport HSE Supercharge. When I drove it off the lot, it did not even have a full tank of gas in it. Only 3/4 full which I thought was rubbish. You spend all of this money and the dealership can not even give you a full tank of gas. Shame on you LRLV

This review is for the service dept. Like most businesses that have a monopoly, this one does not give a shit what you think. We were lied to many times. We were told repairs that were not there when we went in were now needed. The work finally was done but we left unsatisfied. They count on the clientele having so much money that they will agree to any repairs without question. If you plan to drive a Land Rover in Las Vegas, know you will have to deal with this service dept.

This review is for John, the most helpful service attendant I have ever encountered. Had to get a suspension issue resolved. He was always available anytime I called, called me back often to give me the status, and just was all around honest and helpful with my situation. Nice to know where I can find someone with integrity to bring my Range Rover to.

I have purchased 4 Landrovers from LRLV and have had a wonderful experience each time.  I initially purchased a L4  then my next two were the Range Rover HSE. This time I chose the Evoque for the better gas mileage and I simply love the design inside and out.  This is a dealership where you are always treated well and become part of the Land Rover family.  I dealt with Nicholas and Pete for the sales process and they made it seamless. You will not feel like you are "being Handled" or there for hours they will make the sales process seamless and with ease.  Lastly, they always remember your name and are very helpful when you come in for service.

The service at Land rover dealership located on Sahara is the worst. Would never take my vehicle there again. The story is to long to give all details. But, if you do take your vehicle there know your issues. This dealership will break other things on your car to get more money from you. They will say that the diagnostic check is $150, and if work is done they will take the 150 off. That is not true they will over charge you to get that $150 back. I took my car for one service issue,  and left with a another issue cost of $600, which was not a problem when I took my car there. Which they will not fix.

I wanted to update this review because after going in a second (and third) time, I really felt like they were doing everything they could to help me get the deal I wanted - and to make me a happy customer!  The team at LRLV really took the time to make sure I had all the information I needed instead of just glossing over the details.

As I mentioned in the last review, Rex is a super nice guy and after getting to know him a bit, I'd recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a Range Rover.

John (the manager) is an awesome guy.  He sat down with me and went through the numbers thoroughly - he was honest about what he could and couldn't do, and in the end, we came to a mutual agreement on price.  Moreover, he's a genuine guy and I liked doing business with him.  You can't say that about a lot of dealership folk...

All in all, an a good experience and a sweet car. :)

If I could give negative stars I would!!

Bought my Freelander 10 years ago from LRLV. I LOVE MY CAR! Pushing 100,000 miles. We off road and really use the car in the way it was built. Off the pavement to get in touch with nature. I dont baby my baby but I take care of her and she treats me real good!

I have been an extremely loyal customer and have had all service done thru LRLV.
Last week I brought her in for an oil change and brakes. They changed my oil and told me the brakes were fine (though they were not) but the kicker....they had my car overnight, told me the Service Engine light was on and from their "findings" I needed a $10K engine or a new car.

I may be a woman BUT I AM NOT STUPID!

Took my car to Frank's European Service only to find I needed new spark plugs and a new air filter. A TUNE UP PEOPLE!!!

I will NEVER visit LRLV again! They do not know how to spell Honesty or Integrity let alone use it as the basic foundation of their business. Guess it was the end of the month and they needed to meet sales quota...but I am nobody's statistics (except now an EX customer).

Well I'm back 11 months later for my first oil change. I picked my car up and drove straight home. When I got out I noticed oil running down the front fender of my car. They don't wash your car there because they don't have a car wash. Even  the cheapest car dealership in Las Vegas has a car wash. This time they gave it back dirtier than when I dropped it off. I tried to post a review on their web site but they still have me blocked. If they have a defense or excuse I would love to hear it. Stay as far away from here as you can. Money does not buy service. They have no pride in what they do. they are the only dealer in town and they know it.

I bought a van on eBay, worst dealer I have ever dealt with. It appears others feel the same, you would be better off with a plumber working on your car. They would not fix what there staff screwed up. Your better off if they don't work on your car.

Landrover Las Vegas has always been a place for me to have my vehicle serviced  they get me in quickly and have never had any problems.  I have bought. Several vehicles from here as well keep up the good work.

Since I'm car shopping, I like to do my homework and look at all the cars on my wish list. So we stopped by on a Sunday to look around.  

The dealership was closed so that was a bummer but at least we got to walk around without being hounded.  

I wanted to come in to see the Evoque despite the low ratings in reliability given by Consumer Reports but wanted to check out the L4 and other models as well.

I love the Evoque's sleek look, size and new style which reminds me of the BMW X6.  It's like a crossover that's been stepped on.  I like it but honestly can't ignore CR warnings.

One feature that's quintessential about the Range Rover is its the oversized windows and the Evoque's sleek style falls short on window size.  Passenger rear windows are very small and leave little passengers with no view. Sadly based on CR ratings on these tiny windows, I'll have to pass on this model.

I saw other fabulous RR on the lot that are my dream list but out of my price range so it was nice to just look feel and touch!

Why can't dealers just be honest? Sure, your dealership is the only one, but why charge customers for things they shouldn't get charged for?

Normally, my experience today would result in a one star, but they were actually really accommodating in fitting me into an opening this morning and giving me a loaner, so I was pleased. $300 later for an oil change and air filters being replaced unnecessarily (5,000 miles on filters), I left feeling hosed by the dealer. But wait, I was disappointed enough they were able to take my bill from $450 to $300.

I always want to give a new dealer the benefit of the doubt, but so far Vegas dealers are turning out to be some of the worst. Stay away from this service at all costs...there are plenty of places to take your car where the mechanics are honest.

I thought I'd check out the new Evoque. I'm 6'5" and not a lot of cars are comfortable. I like it's looks and figured I'd see if it was comfortable.  My partner and I went into the show room. No one acknowledged us.  I saw one unlocked, adjusted the seat and got in. It seemed ok. I was curious how it was with the sun roof closed. So far, no one had said hello or anything to us. I was curious how the seats folded down and how much rear room it had. I fumbled with the seat a bit. Still no one acknowledged us. I walked around the car a few times, read the sticker, looked at the video display. I walked around a few more times, looked around the room. We decided to just forget it. Business must be good. I've never stepped into a dealer and not had at least one person offer to help me. I'll take my tax return $ and my 805 credit score somewhere else, maybe the Mercedes dealer.

1950 called and wants their sleazy car salesman back. I can't believe a high-line brand like Land Rover would let these people run a dealership that sells their cars. I went in to look at an Evoque. The salesman said I better be willing to pay big - he had sold all he could get - yet there were 13 on the lot????? He essentially blew me off when I questioned why he had so many on the lot if he had them all sold - and then he turned around and walked back into the office. As long as Land Rover lets these people represent them I won't be buying a Land Rover car any time soon.

If you really want one - drive 3.5 hours to southern California where you'll have a better chance of being treated well.

Consider this week my "car dealership phase". Given that most of the living world hates buying cars, I feel that it is important to shed some light onto the good (and badder than bad) adventures in carland. Yesterday, I shared a badder than bad, but today I am happy to share a delightful experience!

This is all about my sales experience, as I have never gotten service because we did not end up purchasing a Rover. So, we're not officially ballin', but I really wanted to make it rain at Land Rover. The ride was smooth (but not a limousine for all you Prince fans), and our "Sales Guide" was just that cool. First of all, her name was Cookie! Being a "Misti" I automatically feel a kinship with peeps that have what I will call "cute" names.

Cookie was super laid back with zero attitude, and she had cuh-razy stories about the myriad of characters that roll through the door. She was also low pressure. She called to follow-up one time, and then she was gone. Now, I liked Cookie, but in when it comes to car salespeople, I like it when they're kind on the lot, and then are kind enough to let me go about my life.

Cookie really provided an ideal visit to the land of car sales. She is like Glenda in the Land of Oz... or something like that.

When I need some Rover parts in a hurry I have to come here to purchase instead of online. These guys have always taken care of me and give me the "brother in law price" on parts. (I don't know what it means but it always works. When you go to a place that sales both wholesale & retail ask them if thats the bro in law price and they usually drop it a little more.)
The parts guys are knowledgeable and will give you advice where to pick up stuff cheaper. Great guys.

Update: May 12 2008:

After 5 visits to this place, I am now completely fed up with the incompetent service people.  Not only are they not fixing the things that I brought it in for in the first place, but I now suspect they are breaking things so I will have to keep bringing my car back.  STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE!!!!  I am going to report them to the BBB and contact Land Rover corporate to formally complain.  Something really wrong is going on at this dealership!!!

Recently dropped one of my cars off at this dealership to get serviced.  VERY friendly Service Advisor (Terry).  Professional and knowledgeable.  Clean environment and decent location.  As for pricing, it is the same everything.....through the nose!
