Founded in 1969 in Las Vegas, NV by Bill Heinrich the Heinrich Auto Group has grown over the years to 4 dealerships in southern nevada. Including Fairway Chevrolet (it's flagship dealership) along with Fairway Buick GMC, Henderson Chevrolet and Pahrump Valley Auto Plaza. Heinrich Auto Group is also very involved in the local communities which include the founding of the  Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA.

Judging by the bad critics, I suppose that it all comes down to each individual... perhaps the management should randomly supervise their employees.. I don't know. My 2 cents is that the service guys should be a little more smiling and welcoming. They all looked at me with a security guard face like I was trespassing... seriously... and the cashier should at least say Thank You or have a nice day, not just silently handing over the receipt. But no big deal. Not enough to deter me anyway. Now here is the good part. We came in for an engine light on our Terrain SLT2 2011 and left with a Terrain Denali 2015..  Sal Marino did a wonderful job in selling us our new Terrain Denali. Another one Desert Auto Nation didn't get...haha... Sal was very patient, courteous, went the extra mile to accommodate our needs and requests, always cheerful with a big smile on his face all the time. A real pro. What a difference with those primmadonnas we have to put up with at other dealerships. Jeramie and Andy also did a great job. I will certainly recommend them over any other dealer. Thank you.

PS. If you're looking for a used Terrain, go get mine: 2011, White, 41,000 miles, always hand washed including engine and under hood, no accident, not a scratch, new front tires, perfect condition.... :-) ...

We drove from Phoenix to get a good deal on a new Buick. Sal Marino was our sales rep and he was pleasant and easy to work with. Although the car I wanted was no longer available, Sal brought in a similar SUV from their dealership in Pahrump and we drove it home the next day.

We never had to deal with the good cop/bad cop runaround that so many Phoenix dealerships use. Sal negotiated with us directly and had the power to close the sale without bringing out a nasty sales manager.

Andy in F&I was pleasant and patient and other than offering an extended warranty (no need), he didn't try to force us into buying all sorts of stupid add-ons like custom gum holders, baby wipe warmers, scorpion proof tires, or cargo nets that double as lobster traps.

Bonus...clean restrooms, comfortable seating and plenty of staff on hand.

The young woman assigned to delivery (where they set up your car and show you how to use the controls) was the only negative. She didn't know enough about the vehicle and we ended up calling Sal over to do her job. She didn't know how to fold the rear seats, gave incorrect info on the radio and electronic controls, and giggled off basic questions.

Other than her, it was a good experience, and should Phoenix dealers keep up the pirate games when it's time for our next new vehicle, then we would happily return to Fairway Buick GMC.

About 7 months ago, I purchased a used 2012 GMC Terrain SLT from CarMax here in Las Vegas.  About 2 weeks ago, I was merely looking online for general pricing information for a new GMC Terrain Denali--because I really wanted to find out if I could afford all of the "bells and whistles" the Terrain model was supposed to come with.  Lo and behold, the GMC website I was looking on somehow captured my information and provided it to the Fairway dealership on East Sahara.  I was contacted by e-mail and set up an appointment to see a new Denali model--knowing full well there was not going to be any possible way I could afford one.

The next day, I went to the appointment and met with Sam Mitchell, a Fairway internet sales rep.  I quickly explained to Sam that I was just looking, and that I was certain there was no way I could afford a new model.  Sam showed me a brand new 2014 Terrain Denali--a beautiful one with black interior and a striking Iridium paint job.  We took it for a test drive.

Four hours later, I left the lot driving my brand new 2014 GMC Terrain Denali, and I could not possibly be happier!  Terrific dealership, and a truly great staff!  Thanks, Sam, and Fairway!

Fantastic place to buy a vehicle!  We got a great deal on our 2015 GMC Sierra truck.  Our salesman, Sam Mitchell, was great to work with. There was a mistake on the sales contract so I let them know and the sales manager, Jeremy, immediately offered to write us a corrected contract even thought we had signed the 1st one the previous day. Everyone, from Sam to the finance lady, to the sale manager, Jeremy, went out of their way to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.  Fantastic customer service!

I came in 01/23 to purchase 2015 GMC Terrain. The whole process could not have been more seamless! I worked with Ed on he sales team and Andy in finance, both of whom weRE FANTASTIC. Excellent Service!!!
We were driving in a company vehicle from Los Angeles that had a battery problem.  Leaving us stranded for the prior 3.5 hours. We ended up arriving literally 10 minutes before they closed.  Mark, in Fleet Services got our P.O. approved and the battery replaced on the spot, even where we parked it.  In and out in a flash.  No joke.  Very professional.  Very quick.  If you find yourself needing help in Las Vegas, these folks will help you.  Thank you very much!!

Awesome truck buying experience.  None of the usual running back and forth BS done at other dealerships.  
Sales Manager Matthew Mccomb went above and beyond in getting our new business truck financed.  
Salesman Ed Vanmeter was the best.  He even did an Ipad face time walkthrough of the truck for my husband in North Dakota.  Kept us updated on upgrades to the truck and even took after pictures for us.  Would recommend this dealership to anyone wanting a pleasant, stress free purchase experience.

Took my h2 hummer in for service and received excellent service.  Kevin in the service department was awesome from start to end. Had a laundry list of things to fix so they had my H2 for three weeks which was expected. Kevin kept me updated the whole time and everything fixed properly. My car needed routine check up, so we brought the vehicle Friday/ March 21st.  While waiting for my car we walked around and took a look at 2014 Buick Encore, complete package deal of leather interior, sun roof, all the perks and whistles.  Truly beautiful mini SUV.   James Boyd and Buick sales Carl showed us the inside and outside of the vehicle, really liked the SUV Encore.   Now I am thinking of trading in my 2012 Chevrolet Sonic,  I just need to test drive the vehicle to make sure if I truly like it.  Rated number one luxurious suv right now against Lexus, BMW, and other mini SUV out there.  If I end up coming back for this Encore, I am thinking of getting the color black or dark Coffee brown color with saddle duo leather inside.  It has a camera when you're backing up of spaces too. You can see if you will hit anything or if everything is clear.

TERRIBLE customer service. I took my car in for a fender bender. They told me 1-2 weeks. They kept the car 11 weeks and told me EIGHT times the manager would call me to talk to me about it. I left over 20 messages and to this day the manager has NEVER called me. I would never ever ever recommend this place.

We have purchased about 7 vehicles from Fairway over the years.  They have also taken care of all the repairs- maintenance needs for us.  I can't say enough about the great service and positive experiences we have had in all dealings.  Our recent purchase of a 2012 Buick Enclave was so very easy.  I visited the sales department and met with Sal Marino to discuss what I was looking for.  Sal promised that he would locate the vehicle for us while we were on vacation.  I should add that two other dealers in town informed me that the vehicle I wanted was not available. When we returned from vacation I met with Sal and Doris to select which vehicle I wanted from the several they had located.  They not only located the exact car I wanted but they offered it at the price I was willing to pay.  Fairway will continue to be our dealer for a long time.  Thanks for a great experience!!
