Reviews on Melloy Dodge

I made a repair appointment more than a week in advance.  I brought my Dodge Sprinter van in because the heater controller blasted only hot air, even with the fuse removed.  After keeping us waiting for an hour, an apologetic serviceman came in and said that their only Sprinter technician had a doctor's appointment and handed us back our key.  It's a mystery why no one called us to cancel our appointment so we could find another service center.  We're now driving across the southern US on a tight schedule, driving through brutal heat, both outside and inside.  Melloy did wrong by us.

It's probably not fair of me to write this review, since I never actually made it to the building.  Rather, I was calling around looking for work to be done on my vehicle.  I called three times during their Open hours.  The first two times I was transferred to the Service Department but no one ever picked up the phone after that....ring ring ring ring.  The third time the Service Dept picked up- yay!- but apparently needed to ask the mechanic a question regarding my vehicle.  I gave her my name and number and she said she would call back in 10 minutes.  She never did.  Their loss. I took my vehicle elsewhere.

Love the car but the dealership...Not so much
Played all the games during negotiations (let me run this by the manager, manager said we'll loose money on the car at that price, etc etc)
The car was missing a few items like the cargo cover, and the sales guy said he'll get me one and never does. They wouldn't even get me a second key. Only one key!

Just consider another dealership if you can

Once again it deals with their service department.  Just a quick back history, we purchased a new tire in Jun 13 and Oct 13, this vehicle finds every screw in the road.  Had a tire that blew out on a Sunday so had the car towed to Melloy.  They put a new tire on, balance, and an alignment, car was going slightly to the left so an alignment was probably in order.  We picked the car up Monday, got on Coors just before target and had to go back to the service department because the car now goes to the right, and not just slightly.  When we get back to the service department and talk to them they tell us it is radial pull, not sure how that happens by replacing one tire.  We were also told that we should try going to Big O and see if they would do a tire warranty, this is not where we bought the tires and they knew it so not sure why they would warranty a tire they did not sell.  Called the Service Manager early this morning and got the normal, we will have your service manager call you and set up a time to bring it back in.  here it is over 4 hours later and I had to leave a msg with their customer care rep to see if she could get something going.  In the meantime I took the car to another dealership and their answer was quick, they need to put the two newer tires on the back, it is a RWD, because it seems to be a tread issue.  Will be glad when this is over and next time I will pay the cost to have it towed anywhere but Melloy.
