I came here after seeing a Civic that was reasonably priced ON THEIR WEBSITE. after test driving the car, I asked the owner about the price because I was aware of the blue book value. He got up quickly to get the owner of the car lot to discuss the car with me. Ok? The owner comes back with figures written down on a piece of paper. He tells me that they're giving me $500 discount for the wear and tear. The car was marked up about $1700 over blue book value because it's a 2004 with only 74k miles. This I understand. What I don't understand was the additional $1100 of repairs that was tacked on to the total cost. The owner told me what was wrong with the car (catalytic converter, the drivers seat) and that their wonderful technician was going to these repairs within the next few days.

I took all this information and the buyers order and left. After a few minutes I thought "wait why do I need to pay for the repairs?" I called the dealership asking the owner "if you're going to make the repairs regardless of my interest in the car, why do those repairs fall on me?"  The owner tells me  that he knows what kind of car he has, he knows he won't have any problem selling it once the repairs are made, and that he won't have it for much longer. He was very professional yet condescending. I didn't think that was right so I never went back.

Per their website, they still have the car.
