OK....I went back to try again.  Made an appointment (online appointments are an excellent feature).  Although I had signed up for a shuttle home, when I got there I made Al promise that he would get me out of there within 45 minutes, either by checking my vehicle or getting me home.  Well, I ended up waiting the full 45 minutes, but he did get my car checked.  Turned out that the check engine light was the result of a sensor in the transmission.  So, the part was ordered and I was on my way.  Positives, they did get the car looked at on my visit.  Negatives, I did wait 45 more minutes and still have to go back. (expecting a call when the part comes in)

My experience leasing a car in February was fine when it came to the salesman. Wael was very knowledgeable and helpful. Once we went to the finance department, things changed. The man, whose name I forget but he was of Iranian background (he told me this), tried to take advantage of me because I was a woman. Then, things suddenly improved when my husband came in. We were back to the original quoted price. Unfortunately, it took well over an hour to accomplish this.

I needed to return to the dealership to pick up new plates for this vehicle. They called to say they had arrived. Then, when my husband got there to pick up plates and registration, they said they had mistakenly given them to someone else. And, told us they had called the person who had my plates and that he would bring them back before closing that day. It was a little after four o'clock and they closed at nine. We live about 30 minutes away, so it would be a huge inconvenience to come back and forth. My husband waited there for nearly two hours. I spoke on the phone to the person dealing with the plates and she just said that they didn't know what time my plates would be returned and that someone else, not her, made the mistake.  She wouldn't give me that person's name. I asked to speak to someone in charge and she put my call through to the voicemail of the general manager, Huey. Huey never even bothered to return my call.  In the end, the plates arrived, but the lack of decent customer service and incompetence with this matter (I have never heard of such a thing - giving plates and registration to the wrong person), I was extremely disappointed with this experience.

I have been to the service department 4 times in the 4 weeks after the purchase of my car. Here's the run down of my experiences
1. I brought my car in because my CD player didn't work and the gentleman still tried to shove a cd in and told me there was nothing they could do as they were closing soon (it was 4:30 pm and their posted hours say they close at 7)
2. They decide the CD player cannot be fixed and they need to order me a new one. I was there over 2 hours just to be told I had to come back again for it. When I got in my car I noticed that the entire radio panel was dented from them prying it out to check the CD player. I was frustrated but didn't think it was that big a deal so I ignored it.
3. Came back and when I pulled into the garage I specifically told the employee "listen, I know it happens but you guys dented the radio last time.. Can you please be more careful this time?" And I pointed out the damage to him. Another 2-3 hours later and I get back into my car to drove off and there are wire cutters on my floor and now the panel is pried up the entire way around. So I was very adamant in my complaint. The gentleman that helped me reprimanded the employee in my presence (super unprofessional and uncomfortable) then told me they would order me a new radio to replace it. Then he walked away from me and was apologizing from across the garage with his back to me. Now, I have a full warranty so it literally cost them NOTHING to do this and he didn't have the respect to speak to me in my presence but rather walk away rudely.
4. Probably my only redeeming date. Al helped me out and stated that my car was "top priority". I was still there for an hour and a half but they installed my whole radio and comped me a few oil changes. For all the headaches they gave me on a certified pre owned vehicle you would think they'd throw in a remote start for the hassle or at least something for the hours upon hours of unnecessary visits there JK, but go down route 22 for your Nissan needs.
Oh also, got a call after the 4th visit from a representative asking me to rate my experience as excellent. Really?!

Horrid car buying experience. These guys confirm every stereotype of bad car salesmen. They saw a woman car-shopping alone and thought they could lie and bully me. They repeatedly lied about the car price and about expensive "required" charges that were actually optional; gave me a WRITTEN offer, then tried to jack the price during the sales process.

Then they made me wait for nearly FOUR hours while they prepared the paperwork for the sale (no financing), not so much as offering a glass of water. (I'd have left, but they'd taken the plates off my trade-in). Then they rushed through signing everything without allowing me time to read carefully or answering my questions. I was practically in tears by the time I finally got out of there.

I've had to return to the dealership twice now (for minor things), and the service and business people have been pleasant and helpful. Apparently, it's just the salespeople who are such jerks.

In response to Huey from Nissan World: I'm surprised you actually exist, given that I asked to speak to a manager repeatedly, both in person and in followup phone calls (The man who said he was the manager  was not named Huey).

If you're actually the person in charge, I recommend you send your salespeople for training in how to treat customers, particularly women. They're condescending, rude, and dishonest.  Too bad Yelp doesn't let you give zero stars.

My sister and I were looking for a car for our mother and Erik, our salesman, went above and beyond to make sure we got a good deal. I always get great service and I never feel like I'm being oversold when I come here. We are happy with our brand new car :)

Dishonest dealer and salesman. I don't usually write reviews. But this time We negotiated on a 2015 Pathfinder, price, options, etc. It turned out I bought a 2014, as I was unsuspecting and it's too late. They replied I was getting a good deal because of older version. They never hinted that during negotiation whatsoever. I'm ok of dealer making a profit, but this is beyond me!!!

They made good on all the repairs. I would say go back and just explain the problem to the service mgr. After we spoke he made good on everything. Thanks team springfield

Took my 2001 Xterra here because the "check engine" light had come on and the vehicle started to buck. $1400 for fuel system maintenance and the same thing occurred 3 weeks and 50 miles later. But this time it took them 9 days to diagnose it as an ignition harness issue and wanted $2500 for repairs. NEVER again!

fair deal...more or less

Awful. Salesman was high pressure. He was upset when I stated I needed to talk it over with my fiancé. He even suggested that I lie to my fiancé about the details. He also never gave me back my license after the test drive. When I realized this the next day, he claimed to have given it back (speaking down to me the whole time) and stated they didn't have it. Called management but haven't heard back. BEWARE!!!!!

My Wife and I  Were Looking to lease an Altima we came to this dealer because is close to our house we figured let's try the closest to our home first.  The attention was great my salesperson was very nice and funny made my wife feel very comfortable she hates buying cars but this place made us feel good we got what we wanted the manager was very polite I think his name was Huey not sure if I spelled it right.  Lol

So far so good. I walked in with a Truecar certificate and didn't show it to Hector until after he gave me a price. His price was better than the Truecar one. We had to special order it so I don't have a final opinion yet, but again - so far so good.

DO NOT GO HERE.

This place takes the cake as the Number 1 worst dealer I've ever seen.  I got an "aggressive" price from "Sammy" the sales person.  But was told to get this price I'd have to finance the car to get the rebate, then pay it off with no prepayment penalty.  Get to the loser finance guy who literally added $3,900 to the price!!!  I specifically told "Sammy" if that happens I'm leaving.  I waited almost 3 hours to get this $1500 rebate.  They gave me the rebate, but added $3,900 to the price.  I am sure that if I didnt leave (loudly), there would have been even more added to the finance papers I didn't even need.  THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO CALL ME BACK TO "MEET ME HALFWAY" I made it clear I was not coming back when I was there.  This was a price posted on their own website that they didnt come close to honoring.  It might not have been as bad if I didnt wait 3 hours.   I literally called them back after they left me the message to come back in, I couldn't get "Sammy" on the phone, but I left the message dont call me back after that! They'd have to be crazy to think I'd consider going back after that.  After that and some more Nissan nonsense, which was nowhere near as bad just a few years ago I wound up buying a Toyota.

REPLY TO HUEY:

You are full of **** I waited hours to speak to your finance guy because I applied for financing I DID NOT NEED TO GET A FINANCE REBATE of $1,500 and the price your finance loser came up with ADDED MORE THAN THE REBATE TO THE PRICE AGREED TO BY YOUR SALESMAN.  The baseline price he told me I was supposed to pay was $2,400 more than what was agreed to and on your website.  2400 + 1500 = 3900.  I would not waste my time for bait and switch from a loser in a pink shirt acting like I was sitting there begging for a credit approval.  AND I WAS DEALING WITH PRICES DIRECTLY FROM YOUR OWN WEBSITE.  I know that your BS financing would have further upped the price.  Your inexperienced morons should have known better than to pull that crap with a serious buyer.  It was obvious that you make money off people begging to get approved.  No way I was paying that jacked up price for a car that had obviously NON OEM UPGRADES.  I would say go anywhere else to anyone reading this.  This is a bogus BS dealer.  You gave me a bad the price for a V6 or a car with navigation.  I got a higher trim level car with many options for less than your BS price.  No problem.  DO NOT BELIEVE ANY PRICE YOU SEE ON THIS DEALER'S WEBSITE.  My out the door reasonable price with tax and all fees was less than your inflated pretax, pre rip off fees and DMV fees for a better car.  I would have bought the car on the spot if your idiots didnt try to rip me off.

If i can give them a Zero i will. Made me waited for 3hrs for rotors, overcharged me  and the issue that i have with my car is still there.

Like many others I too wish I could give a ZERO rating to this establishment. My car caught a flat tire and had to be towed here as it was the closest location. I called prior to arriving as I was instructed to by roadside assistance alerting the service department that I would be there in 2 hours.

When I arrived the individuals that were in the office pretended as if they did not see me. I asked one of the workers if he was available to help me and he essentially shushed me.

When he decided he was ready to assist me I told him I have a car that needs to be brought in from a tow and he says tell the driver the bring it inside, no further instruction or clarification. Cars were blocking the entrance, so the tow truck driver went around back and left the car there.

After that ordeal, one of the workers said I was told you would be here at 5pm. I immediately said, "that's a lie", I called around 4:30 and said the tow truck wouldn't be available to pick me up for an hour.

The staff is very rude and need lessons in customer service. I wish I were closer to Route 22 Nissan where I actually purchased my car and the service department thrives on providing quality, efficient, and friendly service.

Very satisfied with my experience at Nissan. My salesman HECTOR GOMEZ was so helpful. He was friendly, proficient, and professional. He worked very hard to find the car that I wanted. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good, reliable, and reasonably priced car!

Andre P. | 2014-02-12

Had to wait a long time, multiple times.  Had to come back after purchasing a car, multiple times.  Bought floor mats and they gave me the wrong ones.

Horrible is the best way to describe the service department.  When I moved to the area I was excited a Nissan dealership was close by to do my routine service for my Infiniti.  I first went in Jan 2013 for 75k service.  I was quoted around $350 for the service.  All the sudden I needed a brake flush, transmission fluid change, fuel service and four new tires.  I agreed to the tires and nothing else.  I also negotiated a lower price on the tires since they were rather high.  I was promised my car by 5pm since I had to go to work.  Car wasn't ready until 6:30, late to work.  They also didn't honor the deal on the tires until I pitched a fit.  Then the manager told me he was putting a note in the computer that I would get a rental every time I came.  I left paying $1000 more than expected and feeling abused.

A few months later I go back to give them one more shot...hey I get a rental every time right? This time again they pitch all sorts of unnecessary service and now no rental is available.  The manager this time (different person) seemed like I ruined his day because I was expecting the rental and told me it was a favor just this one time but don't get used to it.  Again I left feeling abused and like I was being screwed even when I just did the manufacturer recommended service.

Now this week I went to a local mechanic recommended by some friends.  Absolutely wonderful experience.  Honest, trustworthy and less than half what the dealer would cost for 4 brake pads, 90k service, and transmission fluid change.

In short...don't waste your time with their service department.

I don't know, I always feel like I was violated after walking out of car dealerships.  They always say, "We lost money on the deal" etc., etc.  Right, your in the business of losing money and giving cars away, uhuh.   Just picked up a new car today, process was smooth and easy, however, I made sure to have everything complete before going in.  Contacted my insurance with the new vehicle info so I could walk in, sign and drive.

My salesman Gerry was friendly and nice, albeit new to the job.  Whatever, it is what is it.  I think I got a good deal, but only the puppet master pulling strings at this place really knows...

Matthew K. | 2013-04-30

I've only purchased a few cars before, but this one took the longest.  The salesman, Chris, was very accommodating and professional.  I would give him 5 stars.  Even though it took 5 hours, he kept checking in with me and tried his best to move the process along.  Their finance department is horrendous, hence the 2 star review.  It took FOREVER for me to sign the paperwork.  When all was said and done, I had a great car for a great deal thanks to the salesman.

If you decide to go to this dealership, be prepared to wait.  Make sure you eat something before hand and pack a snack!

Mallory W. | 2012-04-13

0 Stars.  It should have been a red flag that this is one of the only dealerships in the area not accredited by the BBB.  I have had nothing but trouble in working with this dealership.  I went in for repairs earlier this year, and had my fuel injector flushed upon their recommendation.  Last week when I took my car in for a recall (about six months since my last visit) they recommend my fuel injector be flushed again.  After reminding them I just had this work done, the service man became flustered and assured me "they would take care of it."   Don't waste your time or energy here when there are plenty of other more trustworthy dealerships in the area.

I have only experience two car buying experiences in my life - but this was terrible. Had I not been in love with the Juke and knew it was the perfect car for me, I would have walked out long before a purchase was made.
We were there 6 hours and were passed between salesmen to account rep to finance guy and back again before coming to an agreement. I told them I wanted the car in a certain color and they tried to convince me to take the white one off the lot for about 30 minutes. If I am dropping $20K on something, I want the color I want.

The finance guy was rude and didn't explain that the Juke wasnt part of the promotions until we were three hours into the process. Our sales guy was new and was making promises and incentives he couldnt keep or that did not exist.

When I finally got the Juke I wanted arrived from a different dealer, I was rushed through the walk through protocol. I was also promised free service (oil changes, etc. ) for my first two years of ownership but was recently told by a different dealer it was actually only for the first 30,000 miles.

Overall I this is NOT what a car buying experience should be and although I left happy with my car, I would not recommend this particular dealership to anyone

MandA R. | 2011-12-30

Our first experience here we went to check out cars, sat in them, walked around for 1/2 hour, nobody asked us if we needed help.  We even asked somebody to unlock a car for us.  Which they did but didn't try to help.  I guess Nissan World didn't need our sale, then.
So we went back when we were ready to buy after another dealership didn't want to make a sale.  We came in and were greeted right away.  We told the salesman what car we wanted, how much we were willing to pay, and that we want it now.  He came back with 2 options both better than the dealership we were in earlier.  We wrapped up our sale in about 20 min.
Taking a star away for being ignored the first time out and for taking far too long to see the finance guy.  It took us 20 minutes to agree on a price, but 4 more hours to get everything else settled. However, we would recommend this dealer to our friends and family.

Sales dept. was your typical dealership crew. Same deal most everywhere you go. Service dept. was good. Got me in right away.
