I bought a new car here in 2000, and decided it was finally time to replace it LOL.
This week, I purchased a two-year old, previously leased G37x with 16K miles on it, and saved 1/3 off the cost of a new one. There's a smudge in the paint on the hood, but I can't find anything else wrong with it. Maybe the one-star reviewers here can suggest something.

You are treated with respect as an intelligent person. They don't bait-and-switch you or play games. The price quoted for the car is the price you pay. Scott, the salesman, knew what he was doing, and didn't waste my time, or his own. There is a rather exorbitant charge of several hundred dollars for processing of the title and registration papers, but I don't know if that is any less at any other car dealership in NJ.

I've never bought a used car from a dealer before, but it seems I have little to be concerned about. The car was completely gone over, serviced, and detailed. The car was fitted with brand new tires and brakes, and they extended the warranty for another 4 years/84,000 miles. I noticed one small defect on my test drive, mentioned it to the salesman, and it was corrected when I picked up the car the next day.

No car dealer is perfect, but this one is better than most, IMO.

Horrible experience at this place. Went in just for a simple car wash and got such bad treatment I can't even begin to explain. I was tormented and investigated about where I bought my car?? Really LEXUS people that's how you treat a Lexus owner? SHAME ON YOU CATENA!! For allowing your shameless employees to handle elderly customers!! You should go out of business for the poor treatment you allow your cheap employees!

Grigory Rozenfeld and David Daroff made purchasing a new SUV a wonderful experience! They worked together and provided a smooth and professional transaction.

I lease my car, so every 3 years I have to do that dreaded thing - shop for a new car. But with Ray Catena it is a totally different experience.

I was referred to Anthony Marino, who just sold me my new Infiniti QX60. It was a great experience. Can you believe I was in and out with my brand new car in less than 2 hours.

Anthony has been with Infiniti for more than 5 years which made him knowledgeable on the vehicles as well as trained on how to treat his customers. My father was with me and Anthony even accommodated him by laughing at his bad jokes.

I would recommend asking for Anthony next time you need a new Infiniti or Mercedes.

In addition, Joe the sales manager was great. He was able to provide me with a great deal and made buying a car truly pleasant.

Took my 2008 G37 coupe to get a window cowl fixed. I new the problem and new how they can fix it. I explained to them the situation and the 1st thing out of his mouth was not covered under warranty and you have to pay $130 diagnostic fee.  I said fine but told him that to use felt tape to prevent the cowl from creating a pop sound of the windshield. He said our mechanics no what to do. Well got it back and all they did was clean and add grease to it. I said what if the grease wears out. He didn't say a word. Not only was grease all over the cowl and windshield, some of the rubber gasket wasn't put back right. Well I brought my car to circle infiniti for another problem, I explained to them what Ray Stealtina did, they fixed my brakes and fixed the cowl properly.  Circle Infiniti is 100 times better that Craptina infiniti.

I'm not sure what's the deal with all the negative reviews here but here's my experience at Ray Catena.

I bought my G35 in 2004 and the process went smoothly. They didn't have the exact combination of colors and amenities that I wanted so they had a G35 that matched my needs shipped over from Japan. That alone is worth 2 stars and the picture of me smiling as I drove my new car off the lot earns a third star.

Now service at my old Acura dealership used to be a nightmare, but not here. The service guys are always extremely approachable, everything is input into your computer record correctly (so when I moved to California I has zero problems accessing my service history). 4th star earned. I used to ask for a loaner car which they always provided if I called early enough in advance but now I enjoy just coming in early with my work and I just do it in their waiting room because in the morning they have free bagels and pastries and they always have free coffee. They used to just have one waiting room but today I'm back and I'm pleased to find they have a second.

This Infiniti has much more business than the Southern California dealerships I went to. I hope it's here to last like my 10 year old car that is still going strong. 5 stars.

I was interested in purchasing a car that I found on Cars.com . I sent an email and was first working with Chris Flusk. Chris was pleasant however when we were speaking I explained that I could afford a certain payment for a certain period of years. I've done the numbers and with my credit it is absolutely possible to accommodate my request all while still making a profit on the car. Anyway, to make a long story short, I explained that I knew that the car was a trade in. I also knew there was a lot of room for profit on the car, and Chris actually confirmed it he told me that they are making "good money" on the sale of the car. I asked Chris to work on bringing the price down just by 2 grand and that would help my situation extensively. He returned and told me that I was unable to get approved and that the price of the car "is what it is I cant do much on that." Well he called me back and told me that no bank accepted my credit and wanted to approve me. I found that difficult to understand because I am in the 650 range and my DTI is very low. I make decent income and the car would be affordable. He tells me that the banks wouldn't approve me and that I need a co-signer. I asked him well what was the reason for the denial to approve me? He said he wasn't sure that it may have to do with recovery length of time since my bk which was over a year and a half ago.

I started speaking to other dealers and I had no problem getting approved at every single dealer I went to. So I am hard pressed to understand what happened. I went to Douglas Infiniti in Union just to see. I was approved for a 2012 G37 with ease, all they wanted was my pay stubs. I didn't buy it because I dont want a G37, too small for my taste.

So the other night on Friday night I met my cousin at Ray Catena Infiniti. We walked in and spoke to Anthony Marino. And this was after waiting for a half hour by the way. Anyway, Anthony asks the normal questions and my cousin is talking and haggling with Anthony. Remember that I mentioned that Chris Flusk said that they couldn't do anything with the price? Without any hesitation Anthony confirmed there was room for negotiation and he dropped the price of the car 2 grand. He than asked more questions they haggled some more and Anthony asked for a phone number. I gave him mine. He asked if I had ever been there. I said no, and I didn't lie because I have never visited the dealership I was speaking with Chris but on email and phone. And Chris basically ended our business relationship when he said there was nothing more he could do. Anthony obviously sees that I spoke to someone and he asks us "wait, who is the car for?" We tell him its for me. He than sais "oh wait hold on one second." He gets up walks away and comes back..."Yeah sorry guys we cant do anything on the price of this car and you have to put 1k down, sorry there is nothing I can do."

Wow. My cousin and I were floored like are you serious? Now all of a sudden you cant do anything when you saw it was for my me? But you were willing to take 2k off the price when it was for my cousin? VERY SHADY VERY DISRESPECTFUL

I have an FX35 which is due for a brake pad change and had taken it for the brake pad change. The service advisor Peter asks me how I know that the brake pads need to be replaced and that I need to pay $150 for a vehicle inspection. When I asked about this ridiculous policy, he was rude and very disrespectful and I cannot tolerate people like him.

I am a customer and they need to know that, if its not for people like us(customers) they don't exist. Also no one at their dealership was ready to apologize for this rude treatment that I got. I guess all of them are tuned to this business practice.

Well, if you are in CNJ area my advise is to avoid this dealership.

I have chosen Ramsey Infiniti and Fette Infiniti for all my service needs and they are really good. They even do a complimentary multi point inspection for free and advise if I need to do any pending service immediately  or if it can wait.

That is exactly what a customer need. Not some rude service adviser who think he owns you and your car.

Well, I have already forwarded this review to the infiniti corporate of USA for them to take a look into. Hope dealerships like this get a fair treatment from the manufacturer and some basic customer etiquette training.

My suggestion to Ray Catena Infiniti-  take a customer 101 training from your local community college.

My husband I leased a car here from Paul.  He's pretty awesome and explained everything to us and answered all our questions.  I really liked how he stayed with us through the entire process and we weren't handed off to another person to fill out the paperwork and figure out all the financing stuff.

We've had our car for about 4 months now (G35 couple) and I've brought it into the service area twice.  Once for the first oil change and another time for a flat tire.  Both times the service was exactly what I expected and there weren't any surprises.  When i asked about how long each service would take they've stayed within that time frame.  With the flat tire I was glad they took me in first thing the next day so I didn't have to drive on the spare for too long.  They even took care of all the claims info with the tire protection plan (which I purchased when i leased the car) so when they replaced the tire I didn't even have to pay anything.

An extra plus is their waiting room.  It's nice and clean with computers and a nice large tv.  They also have complimentary food (sandwiches, yogurt, muffins etc.) and drinks which other dealerships like JMK BMW don't have.
