History

Established in 1984.

After taking a look at the rapid growth of west Omaha, analysts put pencil to paper - or more likely, a hand to a mouse pad - and determined that a Honda dealer would be needed in the area.
Honda dealer Rob Rhoden agreed and started planning the move of Superior Honda from a converted grocery store in Council Bluffs to a west Omaha location.
Rhoden is happy with how the high-tech facility turned out.  "A lot of people have commented how nice it looks on the outside," said Rhoden, who has operated various dealerships in Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln since 1971.
But Rhoden says people need to come inside to fully experience the advanced sales and service concept of the new Superior Honda of Omaha.

Superiorhondaofomaha- Honda- please read

So, about 4 weeks ago I was driving home from work and a rock hit and cracked my windshield! I called my insurance company and got everything set up with superior honda of omaha to get it replaced! I dropped my car off the next Wednesday morning and they gave me a loaner to get to work and then back that eve to pick up my car with its "new" windshield. EASY RIGHT? NO! I was driving it home and noticed little scratches and chips out of my "NEW" windshield! I called Superior honda of omaha and left a message. They called me the next day and told me I needed to talk to the person who installed it, which was Rhoden Auto Glass. I called them and they said all they did was put it in for me. (Superior Honda contracts out for windshield replacements) so I called back to superior Honda and they asked if I could come in Friday so they could take a look. I got there after work and a manager looked it over, took pictures, said "that isn't right. It should not have anything wrong with it" he told me they would call Monday to let me know the next step in getting it fixed! (Because it was the weekend and they don't work on the weekends) well Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, all go by with no phone call from Superior Honda of Omaha. So I call! The guy helping me through all of this went home sick that day and he would call me tomorrow they said! NO! So I spoke with the manager that took the pics, he assured me everything would get taken care of. Next day the other guy calls to tell me everything has been approved and ordered. "Can you come in on Thursday" he asked. Well no I work until 8-8:30, I'm a hairstylist and this is my busiest time of year! So we set up to have the replacement installed on Friday the 26th because I took that day off of work to spend time with my family visiting for the holidays. Well, yesterday morning I get a call that they can't do it the day after Christmas and we need to reschedule! This is going on 6 weeks! Seriously some of the worst customer service I have ever had. I have faithfully brought my last 2 cars to Superior Honda of Omaha to have oil changes and every other maintenance thing done. I have referred people to them who have purchased cars from them. I am a small business owner myself and I know how customer service works. I also know you can't please everyone, but I am pretty laid back when it comes to this stuff. But this is just crazy. And on a side not, the dealer (Nick) that helped me get the car, still has not given me the second key or a valet key! I've been in multiple times about that and still nothing! He was "supposed to call me" Monday night or Tuesday. Well, it's Saturday! And that guy used to own a salon here in omaha, you would think he would get it. So moral of the story, after I get my windshield replaced, I will not ever bring my car back to superior Honda of Omaha, nor will I ever refer anyone to them. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Had a great experience with the service team last week. Everyone was helpful, polite and did what they could to make the experience wonderful!

Inquired on website and was ready to buy. Going elsewhere. I'm not going to beg anyone to take my money.

We have bought 2 cars at Superior (1 new and 1 used), and could not be more pleased with them. I never felt like I was being manipulated or had any cheesy salesman tricks. We felt cared for and they let us take as long as we wanted without trying to pressure us into making a quick decision.
We bought our most recent used car from Phil Belman, and we would highly recommend him if you are looking. Give them my name as a reference.

Unlike the multitude of first time reviewers that are somehow inclined to give this Honda Store 5 stars on their first and only review on Yelp. I actually stopped in here when I was looking for a work car to keep miles off the Volvo. The only worse experience I can recall was when a certain Bellevue Subaru dealer pretended to misplace the keys to my trade in order to keep me in the store. High pressure tactics, singular focus on selling a "unit" without regard for anything the potential buyer says, defined my experience here. Check out the filtered reviews for a blatant example of trying to manipulate the Yelp system of real reviews by real people!

Brought in my Honda for 75,000 mile service, and informed them that it has been making a ticking noise and has been running a little rough lately.  They said no problem "we'll take care of everything".  Well it has been a few weeks since I got my car back from them after spending $400 it's running worse than before.  The tick noise sounds like a time bomb that is about to go off every morning, the transmission seems to struggle every time it switches gears, and my gas mileage has plummeted 5-7 miles per gallon since the service.  I also replaced in cabin air filter because there was a nasty smell coming out of the vents every time I started the car, well that cost something like $120 extra and the smell is just as bad if not worse as before.  Friendly service, thanks for the ride back to work, but what the hell did I just pay for?!
