Our experience at Stan Olsen Subaru was stellar!  Jim Schall was exceptionally helpful and took time to answer our questions.  This is the first time I have been to a car dealership and didn't feel pressured.  I never imagined shopping for a vehicle could be so stress free!  Thanks Jim!!

We had a great experience buying a new car at Stan Olsen Subaru. Our sales person, Jim Schall, was very helpful and personable during the entire process of our purchase. I really appreciated that he didn't do hard pressure sales on us, but was very available to us whenever we needed help or had a question.

I get the feeling that honesty and respect is valued by the dealership and that is very important to me. I took our Beetle to the VW Stan Olsen service station for years and have always been very happy with the quality of service and the way I was treated there. I especially appreciate the loaner cars they give since my husband and I share one car. It makes it very easy and seamless for us to have our car serviced. Stan Olsen was the first dealer we thought of when we started looking for our Subaru and I'm happy that we chose to buy there.

I was very satisfied with my experience at Stan Olsen.  I was exploring the options of getting a used or new car and test drove several cars.  But Mike Maldonado was exceptional with coming out to greet us when he saw us looking around, discussing what I was looking for, offering suggestions based on my requirements and working hard to get a price I could work with.  I would most definitely recommend Mike to my friends, family and colleagues!

Our family has several Audis and Volkswagens, we have been customers of Olsen's for years. With all these vehicles there has naturally been accidents and mishaps, we always take our vehicles to the body shop at their Auto Center. Steve, the manager, is always honest and straightforward. He really does his damnedest to get repairs done in a timely manner.  Even  dealing with the insurance companies for any additional issues. Unfortunately, sometimes there are circumstances beyond the control of the shop..Audi not having the parts, customs red tape..whatever. Again, this stuff is not in his control..and he didn't wreck my vehicle so how can I blame him? Not his fault someone ran into my car...now the guy that did run into me got his behind chewed!  Take your vehicle here for an honest assessment.

I tried to give this establishment another shot thinking that the first unpleasant experience was a fluke.  Not so much as I have been waiting since October 2013 for the salesman to get back with me regarding a Q5 for the wife that was scheduled to arrive at the dealership in 2-3 weeks.  Nope...not one call or email and if you do the math it has been over five months!

I went back to Stan Olsen Body Shop today for an estimate on damage caused by a lady backing into my Audi A4 parked in front of the house and had a nice conversation with Steve (Body Shop Manager). While writing up the estimate he mentioned that I'd hammered them pretty good here on Yelp. I said " yeah I did, but you guys really did screw the pooch on that whole deal" Steve replied "water under the bridge", ya know what? He's right! Steve has been there since my first visit and he strikes me as an honest man. He had just hired on I think when the mess I wrote about occurred and I got the strong sense today that he's operating a pretty 1st class shop in there .Semi- retired guys like me don't buy a whole lot of new German road rockets but if I pick the right six numbers Saturday I'm buyin' that dark grey A8L out in front and if a tree falls on it, or somebody backs out of the drive across the street and creams the door, I'll be bringing it to Steve and his crew for repair! Audi builds first class cars and it's great to see what Steve has done to make the Body Shop operation first class as well!

I didn't have a long stop here. Came in for oil top off on my Audi and it was quick and very friendly. It seemed a bit busy in service but they managed to fit me in quickly (I was only there for a couple minutes)

Horrible service department, at least for Audi. I've had multiple problems with service, quality of work, and charges on my bill.

This review is a joint review for both Volkswagen dealerships in Omaha. My experience with them happened a few years ago but was so terrible that they both deserve this review.

I had a diesel Jetta (completely stock) at the time that was only two years old when the engine literally fell out of the car while I was driving. After further inspection, my friend's shop discovered that the engine had been bolted into the engine mounts improperly...the engine falling out of the car while driving is evidence of that fact. As one would expect from Volkswagen, they refused to cover the damages due to the car having 63k miles on it and warranty only going up to 60k.

Anyway, I got quotes from both VW dealerships in town for the repairs as no one else would touch my late model German diesel. One dealership quoted me $5200 worth of repairs and the other quoted me $3500...yet none of the parts on the parts lists matched up. How do you quote a customer thousands of dollars in repairs to an engine, and yet two dealerships state you need completely different parts? I have never met such crooks in my life.

While I should have just sued them at that point for improperly manufacturing the car and putting my life in danger, I didn't and sold it back to Performance Volkswagen just to be rid of it. Thank God I wasn't on the freeway when the engine fell out of the car or I might not be writing this review.

VW takes dishonesty to a whole different level.  Save yourself thousands of dollars in repairs and annoyance (and possibly your life) and avoid VWs.

The buying experience of the vehicle was good, but thats about were it ends. We decided to buy the paint warranty because it was our first brand new car and we want it to stay nice. Then we call the Service Department because we notice some marks on the paint and without even seeing it they tell us it is not covered. The paint warranty only covers if there is a manufactures defects. Really, so either their finance guy who sold it to us didn't tell us what it really covers, or the Service Department hasn't been informed properly. Probably a little bit of both.

I have tried to call, but never seem to be able to get to the right person.

We have just bought our first SUV, a Subaru Forester 2011. The buying experience was very quick,  ...and ended up buying the vehicle that night.  We also shopped and looked at a Nissan Rogue, a Honda CRV and might have considered a Ford Escape. We never did test drive the Ford, since when we test drove the Forester, we enjoyed it immediately.

The sales person, Scott was very informed, thorough and efficient. i want to specifically add that he treats the female with respect and assumes you are intelligent. I know some car salesmen act as if the woman knows nothing and talks to the man. Scott respects the female buyer.

Finance was a breeze and highly efficient, they waste no time.

We did purchase the extended warranty which we feel is worthwhile, getting the clear coat, etc.

The Forester fits my husband comfortably, he likes the roominess of the vehicle and it should be a lot better than our Civic was when the snow flies.  Just so you know about sizing, he is 6'1 with wide shoulders. Lots of shoulder and hip room for comfort. The passenger side is also very roomy.

Still a fan of Honda in general, but figured the Forester was worth a shot and loving it, a very solid vehicle and comfortable.

Our insurance actually went down $1 by buying the Subie since it has a rep for so many safety features.  So, being about 1,000 lbs. heavier and a newer vehicle, I was quite surprised our insurance didn't go up (as compared to the Civic). Nice!

UPDATE: snow handling during a blizzard. Husband was out of town, and with the Subie, I was able to get out of work, climb a few hills and travel home at night in a blizzard. If I had had the Civic, I would have been sleeping at the office that night. I rely on this vehicle and it didn't let me down!

Friendly service, not too much pressure.

HOWEVER, when a dealer can't tell the difference between a Genesis and a Sonata, I have a problem with them. Coupled with the fact that I basically HAD to test the 2.4 engine just to get them to let me test the 2.0T... I'm not too pleased with the experience.

My subaru sees the service department guys here more recently now that it's getting on in years... actually it's there right now being diagnosed as a matter of fact. But I've been nothing but pleased with the customer service received so far. Note that the subaru service dept is in the mazda building, but once you get over that it's as nice as a stop to the car repair shop can be. Obviously they also do routine stuff like oil changes too and offer a shuttle service which is an especially nice perk.

There aren't a lot of options here...and they're not terrible but, sigh.

First, when I call and get transfered to the Audi department and then get a voicemail box it makes me wonder why the person who was actually at the desk couldn't take appointments. Or why they couldn't automate the department transfer...press 1 for Audi, that sort of thing.

Second, I now get junk calls on my cell that say they're from Stan Olsen and to press a number if I don't want to be called. I shouldn't have to opt out of sales calls. Don't phone spam me.

Third, when I pay over $70 for an oil change I expect my car to be vacuumed and the wiper fluid to be refilled.

And finally, when you take items out of the car make sure you put them back in the correct car.
