Purchased from Metrolina what I thought was a top of the line luxury car but, instead has turned out to be a death trap.
Me and my fiancée purchased a 2006 BMW 750i from Metrolina Auto Group in August of 2014. We did an online application and was approved. We met with xxxxx on August 27 to test drive the vehicle. After the test drive we brought the car back to the dealership and began to ask xxxxx (xxxxx was with another customer) various option questions about the vehicle. After looking over the car we found a box that contained an old part in the trunk. We showed the part to xxxxx and asked what part did they replace on the car. He stated that he did not know, but took the box and part to their service department to inquire. He returned and stated that it was a valve cover. I then asked if the valve seals had been replaced on the vehicle and he stated yes and that it was a very expensive job. We purchased the vehicle and 2 days later noticed that when the car was idle with the engine running the car was blowing white smoke from the exhaust. I made several attempts to contact xxxxx and did not receive a phone call back. I researched what would case smoke to come from the exhaust in that model BMW and it stated valve seals, the very issue that xxxxx stated they had repaired prior to selling us the vehicle. Again, I placed several calls to xxxxx with no response. Finally after 2 weeks we had not received the tags for the vehicle and placed a call to xxxxx. We were able to get him and he stated that they were having an issue with the title and that was tying up them being able to get the permanent tag and registration for DMV. Again we mentioned the vehicle smoking and xxxxx stated he would get his service department to look at the vehicle. Two more weeks passed and we still had not received a call from Metrolina concerning the smoke or the tag/registration for the vehicle. Finally, the last week in September a young lady from Metrolina called and stated that the car was not inspected prior to them selling us the vehicle and they were unable to obtain the tags/registration until the vehicle was inspected. She stated that we could have the car inspected in our area or bring the car back to Metrolina and they would inspect the car and go DMV to obtain the tags. We tried taking the car to several locations in our area and was unable to get the car passed for inspection. Very upset and frustrated we contacted xxxxx to let him know that we could not get the car inspected. Again, we complained about the smoke coming from the exhaust and also about a new issue with the car, the car was not shifting gears properly when slowing or accelerating. He stated to bring the car back in and they would get it inspected and check on the other issues. We took the car down the next morning. They took they car to get it inspected and the car failed inspection. They explained to us what the issue was and advised they would wait for 2-3 hours and then take the car to get inspected again. We ended up staying at the dealership for hours before they were finally able to get the car passed for inspection. Metrolina told us to call to make an appt. to bring the car back in for the other issues. We made numerous attempts to call to schedule and appt. and no one would ever return a call back. On March 3rd I was driving the vehicle and stopped at my friend's house. I placed the car in park and got out of the car and walked up my friends driveway. As I walked up the driveway the car switched into neutral and began to roll down the street. My 13 year old daughter had to jump across the seat and try to steer he car and apply the brakes. Thankfully she was able to avoid hitting anything and brought the car to a stop. This was the last straw for us, so again we contacted xxxxx at Metrolina and explained the seriousness of the situation. xxxxx told us that he would make arrangements to get us out of that vehicle and into another. With no results from that we called and spoke with the general manager xxxxx and still no resolve.

I just bought my 4th car from Metrolina.  I have Jay Leno's love of cars but unfortunately don't have his budget.  Ryan and Justin are just great.  I won't ever buy from anyone else.  They are the only auto dealer I have ever dealt with that are truly interested in you finding the car that is right for you rather than the car they want to sell you.  They are fair and trust worthy.  Thanks guys!

After a poor experience at Keffer Dodge, I came to Metrolina Auto Group to look at a car.  This was the best car buying experience I've ever had.  I called ahead to ensure the car that I was interested in was still available and went there for a test drive.  When I arrived, they had pulled the car out in front and had it all cleaned up and ready for a drive.  They took a copy of my DL and handed me the keys.   When I got back, I didn't feel like there was any need to negotiate the price, since it was already the lowest priced Charger on autotrader that had a V8, and it was better optioned than all of the more expensive ones.  I don't know if they have a no-haggle policy or not.... I just didn't bother asking.  I felt like the deal as advertised was that amazing.  So anyway, they arranged the financing for me and I was out of there with my new car in less than an hour.   Bryan, the salesperson that I worked with was really nice.  The finance guy did not really even get involved other than to prepare the paperwork (before I got in his office) and we only saw him long enough to sit down and sign the papers.  

I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone.  I will start all of my future car searches here (and I feel like probably end them here as well).
