Reviews on Hendrick Porsche
Be very careful. I loved my Porsche in Connecticut and therefore when I moved to NC thought I would get another. I was mislead and the place seems more than a bit shady. I was told they do not have any pre-certified cars (as I buy preowned) to only find out from Porsche when they called for feedback that they have plenty. I was just lied to. Then the 30 day warranty was in place and they tried to hand me a 400.00 bill. After we laughed and told them I had brought the car back twice in the 30 days for this reason they paid...but to find out something came up like 2 days later that would cost me 1K.(sound strange?) I traded my old car in because of repairs the sales person told me were no doubt to occur in the next few months, thousands worth. Now of course I question everything that was said to me and he gave me 3K less that the KBB on my car in pristine condition. The sad thing is I had a Porsche I loved and now every time I am in my new car I wish I had kept my old one. When you lose trust in a company such as Porsche where do you go from here? This will be my last Porsche and my suggestion would be to drive up to Hickory if you are looking to buy one. Even the fact they left us sitting in the showroom for the one repair that was covered by the warranty and the sales manager left to lunch and forgot to tell us the car was ready was enough good customer service for us. Most places give you a loaner car, we were left to sit and wait almost 4 hours.
The only reason is that Scott in sales is nice otherwise I'd give less. The "Porsche experts " here are very unreliable and I believe them to be incompetent. Could not figure out a code for my radio for weeks and then claimed my navigation CDs were too old because it wasn't reading the discs lol but in fact it is apparent they broke my CD player and tried to pass it off as old equipment so I'd upgrade. If it took me 2 minutes to figure that out I guess I'm the real Porsche specialist who will no longer come to this place although I really was satisfied with the service team upfront the people who execute ruined my experience
Scott in parts is awesome. Very helpful with finding a motorsports part that I needed and he gave me a nice discount as a PCA member.
Stellar service department, especially Scott White - Andy Forbis. Sales - meh.
I've bought and sold a lot of cars in my life, and Hendrick Porsche stands out to be the best I've ever dealt with. I dealt with Steve Mann, who is probably the most honest, helpful, responsive, and upfront sales professional I've ever dealt with. Just for background, I've had dealings with Audi, BMW, MB, Infiniti in the past, so I'm not comparing them to a Chrysler dealership.
This was a long distance purchase - flew down from NYC and drove 660 miles back home! Car was exactly as described, no surprises, smooth transaction. And the price was very good as well.
These guys go the extra mile, especially if you're buying pre-owned. They do their own "CPO-type" inspection of all preowned vehicles they sell. They even give you the actual report. Steve even tracked down all the vehicle's service records for me and got me a printout of them as well. He also walked around the car with me with a paint meter. This morning, he calls me to find out if I got home ok. I mean, come on, who does that? I got a great price and great peace of mind.
I wish more sales professionals were like Steve at Hendrick Porsche.
Pretty! Shiny! Visions of Porshe's dancing in my head. I even found one I thought I could get if they give me a really good trade in deal! Fun to look, but I love my little Volvo. It was also Sunday, so we didn't get jumped as soon as we got out of the car.
They still don't try and sell me a car? Though they have finally added me to some email distribution list showing cars for sale and new inventory.........not a "leaps or bounds" but it is a start.
Scott in service CONTINUES TO BE THE BEST!!! I mean this guy cracks me up...always is upbeat....and flexible with any and all issues I have with owning a luxury car. Is mine the newest? No.....Fastest? No.....Most expensive? No........but you'd never know it. He does a great job and the service team is also great.
FYI....complimentary drinks and water are a nice plus.
