The Seeger Family has lived and worked in Creve Coeur, Missouri for over 100 years.  In 1912 a Seeger was serving the community as a blacksmith.  As the community progressed, so did the Seegers, serving its farming community by selling tractors and farm implements.  Later the community changed from agricultural to more residential.  The Seegers responded to serve those needs and in 1969, Seeger Toyota opened its doors.

I came in with a tall order....I wanted a good looking car in more than good condition, and at least some of the features of a newer car that I never got from my 2005 Altima.  But I was also really set on what my monthly payment would be, and that was pretty limited.  I knew I wanted something sensible, but also fun to drive.  And a car that I can rely on for at least a few years with minimum maintenance.  Ray Berry helped me get there and I'm very grateful to him and Seeger.  Thank you!

Ray Berry provided me with plenty of information and advice about the car, along with the most reliable service you could ask for. He was also very happy to help me everyday. He knew the car I was choosing was the right one and I could tell he wasn't just trying to make a sale, but make sure I was totally satisfied with the car I wanted. Seeger Toyota will always be the dealership I go to, I will recommend it to everyone I know.

This review is for service only. Have been using the service department for a few years now and love it. They have an exceptional lounge with TV, wifi and complimentary snacks and drinks. The service advisors are polite and never pushy with optional repairs. I recently was experiencing a bizarre battery issue with my battery draining overnight every night. I had been in a car accident and another dealership had replaced my hatch with an incorrect model hatch and replaced my wireless entry system with another incompatible unit which caused my car to believe the back hatch was always open and my interior light to come on and off throughout the night. I had contacted the dealership who had done the faulty work and asked for assistance with paying for repairs since they received insurance reimbursement for bad work. They were terrible and rude and flat out refused to take responsibility. Seeger was aware of all the issues I had experienced and my service advisor Glen was very understanding and provided a courtesy car during the long ordeal and did his best to work on a price I could afford. It sucks to pay for work twice, but at least Seeger did it right. Every morning when my car starts right up I think of Seeger. :)

Extremely disappointed with the service department. I came in here last Monday to have my RAV4 serviced as it was having a coolant leak. It was very easy to schedule a service and got in promptly. The waiting area was also very nice with complementary snacks and wifi, and the ability to have a courtesy car if your repair isn't a simple one. However, that is where the positives end. The RAV4 had a head gasket leak, which was originally quoted for about 4.2k. As I only paid ~11k for the car, I figured it wasn't worth it, and scrambled to try finding a new car at another dealer. When I told my dad, a retired mechanic, about the repair cost, he couldn't believe it. Turns out, when he called the dealer the bill magically went down to 1.2k. So in essence, the dealer was attempting to screw me, a young professional, out 3k. Most people would call this fraud. I understand mistakes happen, but a 3k "math error?" come on. If you do decide to bring your car here for a repair, definitely get a second opinion. While I will add they called me 2 days later to attempt to rectify the situation, I traded in the RAV4 to get another car at another dealer and had a much better experience there. Avoid this place!

Seeger attempted to charge us $2,000 above the price advertised on a car in the lot, and did its best to make sure we didn't find out the real price until we had already signed on the dotted line.

After seeing a used 2010 Prius on the Seeger Toyota website, my husband and I visited the lot to see the car.  In the car, there was a large red "RED TAG SPECIAL" hangtag hanging from the rearview mirror that listed the price.  We test drove the car, filled out the credit application, and my husband was taking out the checkbook to write a check for the down payment when he asked a question about the price.  It was only then that the salesman, Mike Rardin, informed us that the "RED TAG SPECIAL" price was incorrect and that the actual price was $2,000 more, the price listed on the website.  

At one point after the test drive, the salesperson had asked "Did you see the Internet price?" which we interpreted to mean "Did you see the Internet price? Because you're getting an even better deal" but which apparently meant "Did you see the Internet price?  Because that's the price you really have to pay."  If we hadn't asked specifically about price, we probably would have written a check, been ushered over to finance, and never informed of the mistake or the "real" price (and perhaps forced to either forfeit our down payment or pay $2,000 extra for the car).  I believe it was reasonable for us to rely on the large "RED TAG SPECIAL" price hanging in the car and that Seeger should have honored that price.  At a minimum, though, the salesperson should have been honest and upfront about the mistake and explicitly informed us that the price was incorrect.

The salesperson spoke to his manager, who authorized him to offer us a different car at its original Internet price; zero effort was made to make up for the mistake.  The manager never spoke to us directly.  I also called to speak with the dealership's general manager, who did eventually call me back and offered me an apology for the mistake, but by this time it was four days later and we had already purchased another car.  

Even if this was an honest, isolated mistake (as opposed to intentional fraud), Seeger Toyota should have owned its mistake and honored the price that had been advertised on the car for hours if not days.  That response surely would have earned our loyalty and sold us on the car and Seeger. But because of this bad experience, we will not look at Seeger Toyota again, and I would encourage you to go elsewhere.

I made an appointment at this dealership mainly based on Yelp reviews. All I needed was a recall service performed on the Toyota, so it was a free trip. Regardless, I'm still picky about where I take cars to get service.

I called and made an appointment without a hassle. When I arrived, the car was promptly taken and it was done within an hour as they estimated. In the meantime, the waiting area is fairly nice. I'm used to the Lexus dealership, so my definition of impressive might be a little different than someone else's. That said, it was a spacious area with lots of fairly comfortable seating and large TV. There were free drinks (soft drinks, coffee, etc.).

I also received a complimentary car wash. It's not much, but it saves me the $10 I'd pay by driving through an automated wash since it's still too chilly to hand wash it, so that was much appreciated. The service representatives I dealt with were also polite and friendly, so overall this was a positive experience.

I just bought my first new car with this dealer and the experience was great! They were really helpful and not pushy during the whole purchase process. Jay Clark was the salesman who assisted me and he did a great job! He took the time to explain to me all the details of the car, answer all our questions and ensure a price that stayed below my budget. The overall feel and look of the dealership is great, very clean and customer friendly. I truly recommend this place!

Also the Service and Parts section is great! I accompanied my mother to get her car serviced here and they were very friendly and quick in check in and check out. They also offer us some of the services they had as well as offer us a complimentary car wash after the service rendered. Great experience!

Nice dealership.  Smaller dealership than most in St Louis.  It's all about finding your car and getting the best deal.
