Established in 2002.

Love, Love, Love my Mini but from sale to service, this place is slow molasses and dumb as a box of rocks. Avoid service here if possible or allow for two hour check out process from the two gentlemen who hunt and peck at the keyboard.

I went in to get new plates put on and left feeling very well taken care of. I hadn't thought to check my tire pressure after a cross country move and they where all really low. I am so grateful they fixed that for me before it became a problem. Quick, friendly and knowledgable.

I had a mixed visit to mini. We live 2 1/2 hrs away from the dealership.  When we made the appointment this was made clear. We were there to get power steering pump replaced. Mini usa had a recall on them but claim our car is 2 months too new to be in on the recall. Back to ministlouis. Brought car on at 2pm and left for 3 hrs. Was supposed to take 1 1/2-2 hrs. Came back at 5pm.  Car was not ready because they "got backed up".  Gave us a loaner to use.  This was the Friday before Labor Day. They were supposed to call us first thing Tuesday morning. We called them at 10am Tuesday to find out they hadn't even looked at it Friday. One of the managers made the decision to push our car back to finish others. Then we need thermostat replaced(I knew about that) and front bushings. What the hell it's already down there, do it.Was finally able to get off work today to go get car and turn in loaner. First guy I talked to about what exactly went wrong didn't seem to have a clue as to why I was mad. I stormed over to pay counter to pay.  Rick(service advisor) comes over to see what the matter is. I explain my displeasure. He actually talked to me like a human being who had a reason to be mad. Have us a discount on work and had a nice conversation with us. He saved the day. I will go back and have our service done here  
Next time I'll schedule for morning so I only miss one day of work instead of two.

Wow! Loved my experience waiting for my husband's Mini Roadster to be serviced. The waiting area was first class! Awesome!! And Derek specially cleaned the mini by finding my husband's missing cell phone!! Bonus!!! And THANK YOU to Melvin for replacing the broken license plate cover and using his high tech license plate straightening machine!!! Love this place!!!! Love being part of the "Mini Family"!!!!

I normally don't fully trust car dealers but a friend of ours recommended Mini of St Louis when I was on the hunt for a new ride.  She has bought four cars from them and has always had good experiences so I figured it was a good place to start.  While I like Minis they just wouldn't work for me (three car seats and two 70+ pound labs don't fit in the back seat).  Mini of St Louis had a lot of nice used cars and after several long days of shopping around to other car dealers and craigslist (flakes!) I came back to get a used, sorry pre-owed, BMW 5 series that I had looked at on day one of my hunt.  The sales staff here were always friendly and patient with me and my small clan of children.  Mini of St Louis has a different feel from the dealers I have experienced in the past.  A very honest and genuinely caring approach when helping us find our sweet new ride.  I should also mention they are generous in the local community by supporting different non-profits like Toys for Tots and Backstoppers.  I would recommend Mini of St Louis for new or used cars.  These guys are good people.

Ugh... can I go to 1/2 or zero stars for this one? I really thought that MINI of St. Louis and I were on our way to reconciliation, and somehow they've sunk to a new low! Apparently they have loaner cars now - a huge improvement over not being offered one during the windshield incident. Unfortunately, while driving the loaner I was given a "camera" ticket for supposedly running a light, which I do not at all believe that I did. Of course, I would like to fight this ticket, but MINI says that they are going to charge the credit card that I gave them to secure the loaner... ONLY TWO DAYS AFTER NOTIFYING ME AND OVER A MONTH BEFORE THE TICKET'S DUE DATE!!!

i would really love to be able to contest this ticket, but MINI insists on charging my card TOMORROW, so I'll end up paying for this without a chance to contest it! MINI is suddenly judge and jury, and I have no chance to defend myself against what was probably a technical error. Even worse, I was told that they can only send me a fax of the ticket and not the actual ticket, even though they're happy to give me the bill with no chance at defense. When I received the low-quality copy, the photographic "evidence" was just two black squares since the copy quality was so bad.  Apparently I don't deserve COLOR copies as the evidence against me.

MINI has offered to REFUND the charge to me WITH WRITTEN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF MY INNOCENCE from the jurisdiction where this occurred. While charges can be dropped easily, obtaining an actual document stating my innocence is much tougher than just fighting the initial charge. All I asked was that they hold off on running that charge until I look into it, in order to avoid the additional hurdles that getting this unnecessary refund would require.

I was hoping that after moving the MINI service facility across from BMW there would be more direct accountability. As it turns out, MINI looks to drag down BMW's reputation instead of BMW elevating MINI's horrible service.

I called to make an appointment since my service engine light was on. I was told to bring it in but they are "fully booked 4 days in advance" and cannot take emergencies. The service person then proceeded to ask me questions/info about my car apart from the year and model. I understand the procedure, believe me, however, my car is 10K miles, 2012 - less than a year old, never been in an accident. I believe the right response would have been, we'll get you an appointment, and give us a call back with the details. That would have pacified my already nervous heart about bogging down in the middle of the night just because I cannot run to the garage to get the info to make the appointment.  I say, bad customer service. My husband shopped for our mini cooper there but took our money somewhere else because this is what they have - bad customer service.

I've owned two Minis in the last 10 years and have had very good experiences at Mini of St. Louis when I've taken the cars in for service. Excellent customer service as well. The service manager Steve is especially attentive and helpful in solving problems.

I bought a car 3 weeks ago and had a great experience at Enterprise, which I  reviewed. I failed to mention the experience I had at Mini stl prior to buying my car.

Last night I wanted to catch up on yelp and noticed that mini stl had 7 (SEVEN) 5 star reviews all on the same day!   Since my experience was very different I decided to write my thoughts about my visit on or around February 20th 2012.

The staff  appeared to be sizing me up. I was alone. They coldly looked away.  After striking up a conversation with one of the men (didn't  get names and I engaged him) I asked for a test drive. I mentioned how cute the minis were but feared the car might be too small for me. He agreed to the test drive and left. Fifteen minutes later he still hadn't come back and the other man had long vanished. I left.

I was left alone and the 2 men were so disinterested in helping me.  I thought perhaps I looked a little too south side. I believe I was discriminated against and it didn't feel good. This place is a little too haughty for me.

I thought these guys worked on commission!

Came in to get a side mirror replaced, ended up getting treated like a king.  Got a faster fix than they initially promised, got my car cleaned, tuned up and had a great cup of coffee while I waited.  I gotta say the standard of service was set high, and when I had to get another service visit in I realized it's really just how they are all the time.

I love my Mini. The sales people are super nice. The body shop employees male sure your wait is comfortable. I never have to make an appointment for service.  Highly recommend.

I was hoping my car buying experience would be pleasant here, since it is more of a boutique type feel and for the price you are paying. However, it was so directly the opposite. Since, there is a demand for the car the attitude of the sales people is that you are lucky to be talking to them and lucky to be standing in their presence. So just a heads up if you are thinking about buying a mini, be prepared that service is not the best and you are not getting a wonderful experience in the buying process.
