Jay Wolfe gets 5 stars from me! I come here to get my Honda serviced and I've never had any problems. They're usually fairly quick, but even if they're not, the customer lounge is fun to wait in because it's FREE FOOD GALORE

While shopping for a new car recently, my wife and I spent several days at Jay Wolfe Honda considering the purchase of a brand new 2015 CR-V.  

Throughout the course of our car search, we visited close to 10 different dealerships, test driving a variety of brands and models and speaking with all different types of salespeople.  In the end, Jay Wolf Honda clearly stood out from the pack in terms of service, pricing, and overall atmosphere.

Service is at the heart of Jay Wolfe's sales philosophy.  Our salesman, Marcel Carter, treated us like family throughout our entire shopping experience.  He was honest and trustworthy, and we really appreciated his willingness to "coach" us through the entire process, making sure that we were getting the best car possible at the absolute best price.  He even fought for us to be able to take a car home for an overnight test-drive to make sure that it would fully suit our lifestyle and needs.  At Jay Wolfe, we got the sense that car buying should be more about a lasting relationship than a one-time purchase, and that is something that truly resonated with us.

But what makes Jay Wolfe Honda even more appealing is that their pricing is extremely competitive in comparison with other dealerships in the KC metro.  They are actually a True Car dealer, so they're very transparent with their pricing, and researchers like me can rest assured that they're getting a fair purchase price for the vehicle.  In our experience, the deal offered was actually substantially lower than factory invoice!

And finally, the atmosphere at Jay Wolfe Honda is such that it makes people want to come back time and time again.  Even while undergoing renovations, their show room was kept bright and clean, their lounge was large and comfortable, and their cafe served a wide variety of free made-to-order food items as well as snacks and both hot/cold drinks.

In the end, other circumstances kept us from purchasing our vehicle from Jay Wolfe, but the great experiences we've had thus far have made us realize that this is where we'll be bringing our new CR-V any time that it needs servicing.

Just brought my Honda Odyssey in for a scheduled service and was blown away by the level of service. The waiting area was lovely, the staff were great, and they even washed my car. Apparently this is a normal thing when you get your car serviced at a dealership, but for me? I was just amazed. I brought this heinously filthy van and they WASHED it for me. I can't wait to go back with my other car!

Fantastic! This was my first new car experience and the staff at Jay Wolfe Honda were wonderful. From the moment I walked through the door there were friendly faces and helpful people. Russ was my consultant and he is just a great guy. My initial appointment was rather late so he came back the next day to help me (on his day off). I never felt pressured or pushed, and he was able to help me lease a car within my budget. The lounge is great and they are quick to offer refreshments and snacks, as the process can take a bit of time. No complaints here, thanks!

I just purchased my third new car and my first time with Jay Wolfe Honda.  It was the best experience.  Being a woman, I have been disrespected at the other places I purchased, but at Jay Wolfe, I was treated properly.  Everyone there is so nice and friendly.  I had to go through the Service Dept for the first time just to get something installed and even they were supernice.  Jay Wolfe is a whole new world in itself.  They know how to run a good business and I will return for my next car there!

Was nervous about taking my Honda to the dealership because sometimes I feel like they tend to overcharge and aren't to friendly when it comes to customer service. (Especially being a girl)
Jay Wolfe Honda totally proved me wrong and I have been coming back ever since! It's comforting to know I can bring my car to a trustworthy place and won't be hassled! They are punctual, friendly, have an awesome car service to take you back where you want to be if you car will be getting worked on for awhile, and a bomb ass waiting area with Tv's and full with food/snacks/sandwhiches. Even had a few hiccups with my Honda and they were totally understandable and accommodating to fix and re-look over everything. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone! Awesome customer service.

Still here at 2:55 for an 11am appointment.  A half hr oring replacement took over 2 hrs. Then they broke my ignition tumbler trying to force the key out.  Since i stated i would not be paying for their mistake they are making me wait.  Four hrs of waiting room enjoyment for something that should have been done in one hour.

We purchased a Honda Accord Yesterday and were very happy with our purchase.
People there are very friendly.

After the purchased we felt a little pressure for buying an extra coverage, but that is their job.

If you go or call, make sure you talk or speak to Erica and or Amir.

Purchased a vehicle with my wife yesterday and it was such a pleasant experience. I my self used to be a car salesman and know what comes with the territory. We are usually told to take control and be pushy, but not at all. Kris helped through the whole process without ever being pushy and understood we might not make a decision that same day. Got us the exact car we wanted and the exact price we were very comfortable with. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to get into a Honda.

P.S. They're service Lounge rocks. Panini's made to order and super comfortable.

Great service department! They will shuttle you somewhere while your car is worked on, or you can wait in their fabulous lounge - complete with servers, donuts, refreshments, wifi and CABLE! The service staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't try to make me do any unnecessary repairs/maintenance that I wasn't looking for. Also, they didn't finish with my car (they looked me up and found out there were two recalls on my car, all performed free of charge) until late in the day, and two service techs stayed after hours to make sure I could pick it up! I will definitely be taking my honda business back to Jay Wolfe.

I have owned my Honda for several years and have been to every Honda dealer except, for some reason, Jay Wolfe Honda. Why this is I don't know since this is the closest Honda dealer to where I live. I have had horrible service at every Honda dealer and made to wait sometimes 5 hours for a simple service. You are usually lucky if there are donuts for waiting customers but the last Honda dealer I went to had Nutrigrain bars and bottled water. Most of the dealers have a small waiting area with one TV and Wifi. Let me just say that after my experience at Jay Wolfe Honda I will not be back to those other Honda dealers.

I went to Jay Wolfe Honda for my regular oil change. The man that waited on me (I feel terrible I forgot his name) tested my battery, explained what the numbers meant on my dashboard so I knew exactly what type of service I needed, he even asked if my windshield wipers were working alright since my windshield was dirty! He then told me that my car was scheduled for an alignment but when he measured my tires said it wasn't necessary, so that saved me some money. He then walked me to the lounge area, but we will get to that part later. The most I get when I drop off my car at other Honda dealers is they get in and look at my milage and the most they say to me is "Are you going to wait?" and they point to the lounge area.

Once in the lounge, he introduced me to two ladies standing behind a counter and said anything I needed they could get for me. They had fruit, donuts, danishes, cold sandwiches, coffee, water, soda, the works! I got a coffee and danish and proceeded to go sit down. That was when I noticed that they had a gas fireplace in the middle of the huge waiting area and a flat screen TV on each side. They even have a little room with a TV showing Disney movies and has toys for the little ones. I was waiting only maybe a half hour when they came to tell me there was a rattling sound. I explained that I knew about it and that I took it to the Independence Honda dealer and they said it was a bolt that fell out and so a cover is barely covering a hot part and they could take it off but that would be dangerous but they didn't have a way to fix it because they didn't have the bolt they needed. When I explained this the guy waiting on me shook his head and said they could easily fix it for $50 if I wanted to.

After being there for only an hour tops, I was out the door and on my way with a freshly washed car (the other dealers only do that if you spend a ton of money or ask for it). Glad I finally found a great dealer to get my car serviced at!

I was at lunch with a friend sitting in such a way that we could see my car.  Since I had just had my 100,000 mile service done at the recommendation of a different friend, I shared that I had a pretty good experience at Jay Wolfe.

"Oh, I've been there for years," she said.  "They know how to treat you right."  I had experienced that myself.

I dropped my car off the day before I left to go out of town for a week.  I wanted it serviced, detailed, with estimates on some light bodywork done and floormats replaced.

A number of things conspired to prevent me from picking it up myself and a friend picked it up for me.  She didn't know I expected a labor estimate and new floormats.  When I called them about it I got a call back offering to get that estimate to me immediately and personal delivery of my floormats (to avoid the hassle of my driving down there).

While I wish they had gotten things right the first time, often a business can be characterized by how they react to mistakes (we are, after all, human, ergo we make mistakes).  Jay Wolfe showed class in encountering my issues.
