They finally called back.  The person on the phone said they had tried to call which is false.  My phone logs all calls and has voice mail.  There were no calls received from them.  

The peron on the phone said they wouldn't honor the shipping quoted on their site and blamed it on Fedex because he said their rates were wrong.  Tried to charge me four times the quoted rate.  Told hm no thanks.  

I found another TRD site that had similar shipping rates to the quoted price and ended I up with the entire order being even cheaper.  My order has already shipped after only two days and is scheduled to be here early next week.

The first time I brought my vehicle to Metro Toyota a few years ago, they disabled a third party lock system. After that the keyfob wouldn't open my car. They claimed it was a third party system and couldn't fix it. They wouldn't accept that they had broken it.

Last week I brought my vehicle in for 3 recall services and to fix my defrost. I went to the website to schedule an appt on the weekend. It took me through the entire process before telling me (after submitting a service time) that I had to call in to schedule recall service items. Why not tell me that up front?

When I called them the next day, I kept getting into voicemail in the service area. They wouldn't answer the phone. I finally got a hold of someone, and brought it in later that week. While filling out the paperwork, the cost was not clearly indicated up front. They took their time working on my vehicle. I finally called them and they hadn't started on it yet, but had put others ahead of mine that morning, even though I had scheduled an early appt. Later that afternoon they finally called and the price was several hundred dollars higher. Apparently there was a cost (not clearly indicated when i dropped it off) just to check out the vehicle to see what was wrong with it, then a cost to go in and repair it, even though no parts were involved. The service guy claimed they had to take it apart, put it back together, and take it apart again to fix it. Why the double cost? Why not fix it when you have it apart?

They thought they had all the parts required for all my recall items, but their stock was inaccurate, resulting in me having to bring it in a second time. When I got the vehicle back, I noticed that my seats now creak when turning corners. They didn't tighten the bolts down tight enough when fixing the tracks under the seats. Today I noticed I can no longer see the light for the defrost dial. They disabled the light when they fixed the defrost.

Can they do anything right at this facility? I've never had such poor service for such a high cost. I'm afraid to bring my car back in for fear they'll break something else when repairing what they broke.



They called me after writing this review, and fixed my car issues for free. There was some carpet caught between the seat and the rail, which caused the seat to loosen over time, and the light wire had come undone when it was put back together. They had a good attitude about it, despite me leaving negative feedback here. They also washed my car before I picked it up. They made it right, and that's what great customer service is all about.

Super impressed with the thorough sales and service at Metro. We were buying a car long distance and the sales person made detailed videos specifically for us. Metro is a wise choice when looking for a trust worthy dealership.

Jessica was so attentive.  She is an excellent customer service representative!  Also I love that our car comes back with good news after it's check up.  It's a real treasure of a vehicle.  
The restroom was a little messy,  maybe an hourly check in  to assure it meets customer needs would help.  
The coffee and snacks are a nice touch.  For those of us who prefer pop, a soda choice would be nice.
Over all, I am extremely happy with Metro Toyota.

I was impressed to receive a phone call that my Prius was involved in a recall - made an appointment for 8 am. I was told work would take approximately 2 hours, it is now 11:30 and I'm still sitting here waiting. Don't rely on their deflated time estimate, if I would have known I was going to lose my Saturday I would have asked for a loaner.

My husband will be buying in the next few weeks, this experience has moved Metro from the top of our list for where to buy!

I recently received a recall on my vehicle.  I called Metro Toyota and was scheduled at my convenience within 2 days.  When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted and my car was processed immediately (during a very busy first thing in the morning time slot). There were actually 2 recalls on my car and it was explained to me on the phone that one would be fixed at this visit and I would be added to the long list until the necessary part was received to fix the other recall.  As long as I was in no danger driving my vehicle I did not see this as a problem.  My car was finished with service in the time that I was told.  Upon picking it up I was informed of the maintenance that should be done on my vehicle and why.  The guys in the service department were great with explanations, were very friendly and made the process very easy for me.

Greatest place for a morning oil change, they provide a $4 coupon for Rykses next door and a beeper control to let you know when your car is ready. I also had the inside detailed for less than $20 what a deal. Clean car, oil change, great food, all at a great price. I highly recommend Metro toyota they have improved the service over the past year. It's best to go early, they open for oil changes at 7:30 am.

I have taken my Scion here for the past 5 years... WHY? I don't know! Certain service associates have been unhelpful and in many cases dishonest. I had my side mirror replaced and they didn't offer to give me back the old part, which they are supposed to do. I was charged $100 for them to "clean" my gas cap and was almost charged for services that were under warrantee (until a rare, helpful employee, spoke up on my behalf). Multiple times they have forgotten to reset my check engine light, or have not checked and filled my tires and fluids. Lastly, like I said, I had been bringing my car here regularly for the last five years and been seeing the same employee, yet they seem to not recognize me and act like I've never been there every time. Someone with good customer relations would at least pretend to know a regular customer.
I hope I never have to go to this place again! AWFUL!

I am much happier with Tuffy Auto Service on Westnedge Ave. Employees are honest, kind and helpful. Prices are MUCH better.

We've had great experiences with both sales and service for more than ten years. Bob was a reliable fixture when he was in the service department and we can't wait to work with him on a new car. Jeff in service is always a delight. He has that rare ability to calmly juggle many tasks at once while making you feel yours is the most important. Mary is very knowledgeable and helpful and Chris is the soul of kindness. We lived in GR for a year and can compare the two shops. Here there is an overall ethic of reputability and quality that is most refreshing.

Very impressive!  Emailed on a vehicle and received a prompt response, but not pushy like you find at so many other dealerships!  Salesman followed up and when I went to see the car, it was a very laid back experience.  I've been on and off shopping for six months and it was refreshing after the horror of some of the other dealerships I'd been to!  I made an offer on the car and instead of them jerking around for an hour and a half in negotiations they came back with a very reasonable counter and I took it!  I would recommend them as the place to go!  Ask for Ken K., he was great!!!
