Absolutely terrible. I didn't know it was possible for a dealer to deny you for warranty work. Do you know how many Volvos I have had? Don't let this dealership tarnish this awesome brand.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I will never go back here again. I know it is a bit of a drive, however All Star Volvo of Baton Rouge is light years ahead of this dealership in both professionalism and customer service -- the level which you would expect from a luxury auto brand.

My experience started with an incredibly rude service tech that told me that under NO circumstances would they provide a loaner vehicle for the warranty work that I needed done -- mind you that my Volvo is still under the original factory warranty... The ticket value didn't matter, and they only provide rental vehicles to customers that purchase their vehicles from the dealership.

He was so rude that I asked to speak with a manager. Apparently the sales manager is responsible for setting policy for the service department. There is a laugh! How dysfunctional. Dealers make their money in the service bay, and of course a SALES manager is going to set some ridiculous policy like that to help him sell... this is not a great policy for bringing in revenue to the dealership.

Here is where things got ugly... the sales manager actually had the audacity to begin arguing with me on the phone, telling me that it was standard industry practice to not provide any kind of loaner car for someone who didn't purchase their vehicle from that particular dealership... let me clarify really qucikly... I just moved here from CA, so it wasn't like I purchased my vehicle from a competitor and price shopped... but even if I had that shouldn't matter. All dealers I have had experience with in California, Nevada, and Arizona have provided loaner cars if they needed to do major work on the car.

So, I was already done with this dealership... but to add insult to injury, he told me that most of my warranty work wouldn't be covered because I purchased my vehicle used. He then used a tone of voice belittle me and put me down for purchasing a used car... it is a 2012 and I bought it with less than 30,000 miles.

I will NEVER do business with them, and I highly recommend that you head up to Baton Rouge. It is worth the drive...

UPDATE: Baton Rouge Volvo fixed everything. The car is running great, and they are wonderful.

What I appreciate is this: I had somebody back into my grill and when I came to Volvo to replace it, I was really bummed it would cost $130 for this fancy piece of plastic! Aargh! But when I said to the parts guy I would wait and see if I could somehow get the part at some salvage yard - (and I had no idea where to go) he coughed up a great lead. A fella over in Mandeville that had some junked Volvos and in the end, I paid only half of what a new part would have cost - which included the labor for getting it replaced. Yay!!! So thanks for networking Bergeron Volvo - that really helped me out.

Service department is hit or miss.  I had a leaking windshield that I needed to be replaced, so I called to set up an appointment for the windshield and a scheduled service. They promptly gave me one for the very next day.  I was told to bring it in FIRST thing in the morning (7am) so they could get it taken care of right away.  Upon arrival I was told that they subcontract out windshields to Safelite Autoglass, and that Safelite could not come out until later that afternoon or possibly the following day. I asked for a loaner so that I could go back to work.  I was told that they do not have a courtesy car and that I could wait for my car in the lobby or have someone come and get me.  Fortunately my wife was able to come and get me, though she was NOT happy about having to change her plans to accommodate.

I never received a call Thursday night saying Safelite was unable to make it to the dealership to fix my windshield. Friday afternoon I received a call stating that my windshield was unfixable and needed to be replaced, and that it would be ready Monday afternoon.   Monday afternoon comes and I receive another phone call saying that Safelite is unable to make it to the dealership, and that it will be Tuesday afternoon before my car is ready.

When I arrived to pick up my car Tuesday afternoon, guess what was parked in the waiting area....a Bergeron Volvo courtesy car.  As soon as I stepped in the garage to pick up my car a gentlemen immediately leads me (did not even try to engage in any conversation) into the service area to sign for my car.  While I signed the paperwork, he left to retrieve my car.  When he pulled up, he immediately handed me my key and ran way.  No, sorry it took so long, nothing. They didn't even try to appease me with a complimentary car wash.

I guess my point is don't tell me to come in for an appointment first thing in the morning unless you know all the services can be provided at that time.  If they knew Safelite would be unable to come until later in the afternoon, tell me that upfront so I don't waste my time sitting in a lobby.  What if I was a single parent and needed my car to transport my children.  I would have been completely unable to transport my children to and from school, and everything in between.
