This place is a ripoff!!!! I received a coupon from mitsubishi for $20 off an oil change, but the lady will not honor it! She said that they have to charge me $20 more to use the coupon! This place gives all dealerships a bad name! I came here because this is where I bought the car! Now they're ripping me off!!!!

Made an appointment for noon.  Brought my car in on time and it took them 3 hours to do an inspection.  I even had to call to see if it was fone yet.   When I went to get my car they couldn't find it.  :(

Made an appointment online which was confirmed over the phone a couple of hours later. Arrived about 10 minutes early and they got me right in. Oil change and inspection was supposed to take about an hour, and I was out the door in about 45 minutes. Friendly service, fast, and reasonably priced. What more could I ask for?

I visited Ray Skillman Southside Hyundai on a Saturday with my wife to purchase my first new car - a 2013 Hyundai Azera.  Brandon Michael was our sales rep and greeted us upon entry to the lot.  He was cordial, professional and did his best to accommodate our very specific needs.  His manager Tom also helped facilitate negotiations around the new purchase as well as trade in.  Brandon had a unique office with many conversational pieces and a good taste in music (which was played for entertainment on the multiple occasions where we had to wait).  This was a nice surprise as we had come from another dealer earlier in the day where the rep was less than pleasing to work with.  Hats off to Brandon for making a typically stressful experience as pleasant as possible.  We were also surprised to find the exact car we wanted (a model over a year old) on the showroom floor!  A happy accident for a first time car buyer.  The only negative item we can speak of is the waiting time between negotiations - no getting around that if you are wanting to get the deal you want.

As with all car buying endeavors, if you have done your homework, have your finances in order, have your trade in prepped, know exactly what you want, and know what you'd like to pay (total price - not monthly payment) you're going to be ready to negotiate the price you want and your experience will be much more successful.  We ended up getting financing that was equal to what our credit union had already pre-approved us at and we completed the transaction from start to finish in about 3 hours total.  We purchased a 2013 Hyundai Azera with the AutoGuard Ultimate policy for additional coverage on all vehicle components for 100,000 miles/10years.  We would be happy to continue to do business with Ray Skillman for future car service and future new vehicle purchases.

I went back to Ray Skillman Greenwood location after I had a check engine light on, a bit weary after a bad experience previously at Ray Skillman automall Indianapolis esp the finance guy,  where I bought my car.
Roy Potter the service guy immediately took care of the car , gave me a very new loaner  car free of charge!!
He explained to me what the cost was going to be and he went above and beyond.to have my warranty company to get them to pay for the injector which had to be replaced.
I am very impressed with the service in this Ray Skillman location. However, I would avoid the Ray Skillman auto mall in Indy though as they are very rude and are not willing to work with you.

It's been five months since I purchased my very first car, a 2013 Kia Soul. I have had nothing but good things to say about Ray Skillman and I am still very happy with the service center every time I get my oil changed. I had the best experience I could've thought of purchasing my car. I had salesman Larry and he was very helpful and patient with me asking so many questions. I wanted to make sure I was making the best decision and finding the right car inside my strict budget. Larry made the experience ideal after spending the entire day with me on the lot, I highly recommend him.

After blowing out the engine in one of my vehicles, my spouse and I went here on a hail mary before wandering off to a buy-here pay-here place... We explained our situation with our current vehicle. They handed it off to the finance guys who within an hour, had us driving out in a new vehicle.

I went to Ray Skillman to purchase a Kia Rio with absolutely no knowledge of purchasing a new vehicle and a very strict budget. Larry Sheron was very helpful, showing me what all of my options were, helping me through this process that I didn't understand and had already place very strict limitations.
Another rep, Nick, gave me options on leasing a vehicle. I was opposed to leasing, even though I had no understanding of it. Now I can make an informative decision on leasing because I know what it actually is to lease a vehicle. It has its ups and downs, but for now, for me, it's the right thing. He and Larry were both very patient with me, not making me feel trapped when I didn't know what to do. I felt the ball was in my court at all times.

When I found that my car had died in the parking lot (my attempt at leaving that evening), it was almost like a sign. It was telling me that her job was done, she got me there, and she was letting me go, and I should let her go, too (I had been holding on hard, filling her with with coolant several times a week, for one). Larry said he'd take my key and try to get it started the next day (it was already 9pm and hailing). The car started but died a few more times the next day- DEAD.
He got me the car I wanted, even though they didn't have any on the lot and had to have one brough in from Ohio. He offered me a rental in the mean time. Larry came in on his day off and was there late so my whole family could come to the dealership before dinner to watch me seal the deal. On his day off, after I picked up the car, he showed me the vehicle, how everything works, where their service station was, what to do when I get there, and even introduced me to a couple guys that still happened to be there late.
He was accommodating even after, calling to see how everything was.

Next time I have to buy a car, I'm going here.

Someone bashed my back window out, dented the hatch, & did damage to the front as well. I don't know who I pissed off, but it was $1500 worth of damage. Yay. Well, the service center here is efficient, friendly, & clean. They don't do weekends, but they had my car back to shiny & new, with a wash &  a clean interior within 4 days. Quick bodywork & a happy me. I missed my car. Now I just have to buy new bumper stickers. A naked window makes me uneasy.

I bought my Hyundai at the Ray Skillman location on the West side, but have taken it to this dealership several times for service. I've always been happy with the results, and the pricing is very competitive compared to what I've found at other Hyundai dealerships around town (ahem, Butler and Palmer). The service desk employees have always made an annoying task much easier and have been great with helping to get me in a rental car from the next-door Enterprise Rental.

If you have a Hyundai and are looking for a place to get it serviced in Indy, I recommend checking out this location. You might also want to call all the Hyundai dealerships in town and get a price quote. I did that before committing to a 60,000 mile standard service, and found that Skillman offered the best price and did so in the most haggle-free, non-salesy manner.
