It's time for the 60K mile service for my Prius. I called O'Brien Toyota to schedule the appointment and was told that the cost  would be $592 (She asked me if that would be a problem, which I thought was odd). I didn't know what it involved and looked into it. It includes the following:

Replace engine oil and oil filter
Rotate tires
Replace cabin air filter
Replace engine air filter

Inspect the following:
Automatic transmission fluid
Ball joints and dust covers
Brake lines and hoses
Brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
Differential oil
Drive belts 5
Drive shaft boots
Engine and inverter coolant
Engine valve clearance
Exhaust pipes and mountings
Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
Fuel tank cap gasket
Radiator, condenser and intercooler
Steering gear box
Steering linkage and boots

I called another mechanic and they quoted me at $100.

I can understand some variation in cost, but a $500 difference is ridiculous. Talk about a dishonest mechanic. I won't be bringing my car to O'Brien Toyota ever again.

Excellent experience with my car purchase.  The salesperson helped me identify discounts I was not aware of.  I stopped in for my first scheduled maintenance this week--it was fast, friendly, and efficient.  I think this is a great dealership that is overshadowed by the ones on the north and south sides - don't forget the east side option!

Dealt with jeff salesman thought I should give my truck to them and wanted full price for theirs. Not very friendly found  same truck less miles more options at Andy mohr in Avon bought from them

We have had excellent service for our 2010 Venza.  We bought the car at O'Brien as well.  We have had all service completed there.  Appointments are easy to make, the estimated times are accurate, and they stay on time.  The customer waiting areas are nicely furnished and free WiFi is available. They earn the 5 star rating

I'd rarely EVER give a car dealership 5 stars.  However, I will at O'Brien after my latest car buying experience.  If you want to deal with a sharp honest man, talk to T.C. there.  T.C. won't sell you what you don't want and will try and help you if he can.  You will not have to grab a shower to clean yourself after dealing with T.C.  Maybe the best car buying experience I've had in 30 years.  Thumbs up for employing people like T.C. and your finance manager.

So my car had a recall and after checking out the reviews on Yelp of different toyota dealerships in the area to do the work required, I decided on this dealership in late Jan. Scheduling the work was easy. The work could only be done on the weekdays (sucks) but they close late (yay). They don't seem like a "walk-in" rype of service. Also They are not a really warm and fuzzy group but were professional. Later in the day I got a call that my car needed additional work ans woild cost me over $200. Funny that this was the first time somone told me about this work even though I had been to a dealship in Chicago in Nov and just got service at another shop just days prior. Yeah, no, don't touch my car for nothing eles but the recall. No push back, which was good. They had my car done by the end of the day.

While I appreciate the work done, I would not come here again.

Shopped several dealers in the greater Indy area for a Toyota Sienna and were blown away by the great customer service and laid-back style of O'Brien. Our salesman, Mike Ramon, could not have been more helpful, patient, and friendly. When I asked for a slightly better price based on another offer I had elsewhere, he was able to meet it and close the sale that day. Even Ken in Finance was patient, helpful and not pushy with the add-ons. The dealership is relaxed and friendly, spotlessly clean, and makes your car buying experience hassle free, even for we women :-)

Looking for a new or used car, definitely give O'Brien a call!

I switched to O'Brien from another (more expensive dealer where I bought the car) because at my 30k tune up they were the most economical & basically gave me the most bang for my buck. In total I've been there 3 times since Feb 2011, and will be going there in the next month for my next tune up. It's nice seeing familiar faces and receiving consistent quality service. If there's ever been an issue they always address it to me beforehand and ask if its something I want fixed (giving me cost as well) instead of fixing it without my consent and expecting me to pay it.

Great customer service. I walk out feeling confident that my totally bad-ass, hot rod of a Toyota Camry received top-notch care. The price is a little steeper, but when it comes to a two-ton vehicle that you depend on with your life almost every single day, I'm willing to pay for quality and peace of mind. Call ahead for appointments (...though they did squeeze me in for a quick oil change/check-up before a long roadtrip... AND they were speedy about it.)
