I went there with my wife to take a look at one of their used trucks escape, well the sales person was nice and friendly, show us the truck, we took it for a spin, all good, until we spoke to their supervisor or manager, we told them that we were looking to trade in my mustang  and try to get another car as well,2 cars within out budget, well the guy was very unprofessional about out budget and about our situation, he gave us rolling eyes, and sometimes when I was trying to told to him, he used to touch his hair, almost like pulling off, and he was sitting like he was at the park, I felt like pouching him right across the face, finally we just left without even saying a word... and just let him told to himself...

I went to Metro Ford in May and bought a Ford Taurus it was the most pleasant car buying experience I ever  had. Marvin printed out the numbers and they were several hundred dollars cheaper than any other dealer. I would recommend Metro Ford to anyone

First time here, have mixed feelings but not holding it against Metro Ford.

Came here to get my old 2002 Ford Mustang serviced.  Driver side window went down but wouldn't come back up. Figured better to take it to a Ford dealership where they specialize in my model rather than a general car mechanic.

It was a very hot day in Chicago, drove in to the service lot and they said it would take an hour and cost $119 for labor & inspection, i said sure.

Their waiting room had air conditioning (the only cool air in the whole place).  But it is not strong enough, so prepare to sweat a bit while you wait.  At least there is a TV to keep you distracted.

Waited in their waiting room for an hour and a half before I decided to walk out to see what was going on.  The guy said they were done he just had to print out my paperwork and they would bring the car around.

I waited, waited and waited for 20 more minutes.

The service rep  finally comes with my paperwork and says my car would be right over.

I wait, wait, and wait another 20 minutes and I walk back out and the guy is like "they haven't brought your car yet?!" I was like "NO!" and he apologizes and personally goes to get my car.  I sit down and am about to drive away when I notice that the door panel was loose around the buttons and practically just sitting there, loose and on the verge of hanging off.  I was like really!?  Yes, the window worked now, but the panel appeared to be broken.  I told the guy, he apologizes again and takes my car back.

I wait another 30 minutes.

They bring my car back finally, this time with the panel fixed and the car clean because they gave me a complimentary wash.

So all in-all, the place fixed my car and gave me a car wash. AND instead of charging me the $119, they charged me $56.  So they did make up for the inconvenience and hassle.  I just wish it had not gone down this way.

In case you were not keeping track, what should have taken an hour, took me 2hrs and 40 minutes.

The place seems to care about keeping their customers happy but they are not effectively managing their time and employees effectively.

I will try them once more if another issue should arise with my vehicle, but if it is just as bad, I will probably switch car and model for a dealership with better service.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! The service staff Fabian was extremely rude. They sold me tires a month ago, which went flat in less than two months. Told me I had to pay for new tires and when I challenged them on it, the General Manager Marvin Pinkey proceeded to yell at me and put his finger in my face as though he was going to hit me. I actually stepped back and was in such shock by his behavior I had to turn away from him and ended up having a panic attack in my car for 45 minutes. I also had to report this behavior to the Ford Company and am looking into what other avenues I should take if they decide not to reprimand him. Just avoid this place and save yourself the headache.

I recently had to bring in my car for a side airbag computer reset, which is always a trial.  However, Metro Ford Sales & Service made the experience pain-free.  They gave me a realistic time estimate, performed the service without event, and even topped off my oil!  The workers were friendly and informative; and, probably best of all, they were able to provide car service to and from work, so I did not have to wait at the dealership for the work to be done.  Altogether a great experience.  I will use them for all of my routine maintenance and repair needs in the future.

My fiance just bought a new car here this week and the staff was very nice and helpful. We got a great car at a great price. I would definately recommend this place to my friends and family.

I had a better experience at this place since they seemed to have stepped things up in terms of quality of service. If anything they're going to be a big place for people to come to if they're at Ford dealerships that don't meet customer standards. One issue is the level of cleanliness of their waiting room and also consider a makeover for their bathroom since the 50s look is tired and old.
