Reviews on Car Center

I agree with Vanessa S. when she say's lemon center is more like it wish i read her review b4 i made my purchase I am very unhappy with my purchase bought a 2004 chevy first red flag when they put antifreeze in car it was leaking on ground i asked is that antifreeze leaking they said no they spilled antifreeze when they were pouring it in the car  i take car to get oil change they tell me antifreeze is leaking and i need to take it to get checked out red flag number2 two days after purchase check engine light come on they tell me it's a sensor problem bring car back they will fix it i take car back pick my car up next day a week later light come's back on take car to midas they tell me car need's over $5000 worth of work and yes it was a sensor problem but not a 30 dollar sensor problem like jimmy staff tried to tell me i had to get mass air flow sensor fixed  including a new transmission and a bunch of other work i spent as much money fixing the car then i did paying for the car which was my mistake cause i should of just sold or traded the car in and get something worth my money from somewhere else.I know i didn't do the best at reviewing this place but bottom line is DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS PLACE if you do get a warranty if you can and get the car checked out by a real mechanic do not trust the word of jimmy and his staff they will lie to get your hard earned money and if they tell you they are going to fix the problems do not trust them go behind them and check and make sure they really did the work because i believe the unhooked the car so check engine light can go off when i took car to them. This review is a little late because i purchased my car a year ago but if can save someone the headache of dealing with this place then I'm happy.

Lemon Center is more like it!

I should've listened to my gut and stayed away from this shady place, but no, I purchase a vehicle from this place (cash deal) and they sold me on their "90-day Warranty" which I later came to find out didn't cover anything that was actually wrong with the car. Jim tried to tell me it was a "power train" only warranty, as I explained to him, had he clarified that I would've asked more questions, however he and his employee who took the test drive with me stated that the warranty would take care of anything that went wrong with the car within 90 days, furthermore Jim not only reiterated but said "if anything seems not right when you're driving the car, they will take care of it"...not the case and denied ever saying it when I called to speak to him. They didn't even wash the car before turning it over to me, wanted me to come back to get a car wash....really?? Should've told me something right there.  The car cost $5K, they clearly were deceiving on the evaluation of the car, because the carfax stated that the car was valued at $6K. When I took it to the mechanic the car needed over $7K worth of work, plus none of the fluids had been flushed in who knows how long, they were filthy/dark and the oil filter was original. Took it to a reputable dealer and they valued it at $1800 so I sold it to them and purchased another CRV from them with a good warranty at that! No troubles so far :)

For a company that has been in business for a while, Its interesting that they aren't more reviews here. Let me do the honors.

I found a tan 2004 SAAB on this company's web page and fell in love with it. Called to ask a few questions and I was faxed the Car Fax Report. Went over to take it for a test run and found some issues. The owner was understanding and had the issues resolved. Financing was not a headache, Mariam worked a miracle with the lender.

I have only had the car for 12 hours but the experience with this dealer was hassle free. Jim is a big talker (like any salesmen) but he means well. I Will be revisiting my review in a few months, until then I am very satisfied.

Small suggestion to Jim. When customers ask for drinking water, hand them a bottled water. You can get a case of 12 for $3.00 at Aldi.
