Very smooth service experience. DJ House, my service rep, was polite, friendly, knowledgeable. The car was fixed quickly and I received a clear list of the remaining things to take care of. I'll be back.

Bought 2014 certified and had faulty brakes. Called 15 mins later to return as we were returning to Fl and Im disabled also to make sure they would take us to get rental car and was lied to as they stalled for over 2hrs and were closer to Fl. Was promised imeadiate repair by Florida dealer and said I should have just turned around. The sales person Duffy kept stalling. Now to bad. I hate my new car. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT TRUST. Also the repairing dealer could not understand why problem was not found in certification process and it had another open caimpaign and other fault codes.

Thanks Ryan/Chris. As always it is a pleasure doing business with you guys. I really value the trusting relationship we have forged over the past few years.

If I can ever provide a reference for your store, please do not hesitate to ask. And I also refer to the two of you to anyone who asks ( and some who don't).

Regards..Alan

I brought my 2010 Panamera S in to Ryan (my service manager) because the "check engine" and "reduced power" lights came on. Nik performed the diagnostic tests and determined that I needed a new High Performance fuel pump. It was also determined that some other areas needed to be addressed. Both Ryan and Nik were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient in explaining to me what was needed in order to get my baby back to 100%.

Cheers to the Jim Ellis Porsche team!

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a Porsche dealership.

But my husband just bought a Porsche here so review it I will. Plus I feel bad about it's two star rating.

We came here the day after Christmas since my husband has been dying for a fun sports car. He saw that they had a demo 2014 Cayman for sale so we thought we'd check it out. I was nervous that they might be a little bit shady with the advertisement but the Cayman was in fact there. And it was gorgeous.

Our sales guy, Benjamin, was super friendly. He didn't have a sleazy vibe and was really easy to work with when negotiation time came. My husband got a price he wanted and everything went smoothly. Of course there's stuff they try to up sell you on but the pressure isn't too heavy (that can be so annoying).

I'll update based on the service department but I'm optimistic.

Worst service experience ever had. CD player malfunctioned because I put 2 cd in the player...how can it accept two cd? The moment it takes 2 CD and be able to play it is when it malfuctioned and should be covered under warranty. But they made me pay for it.

When they call me to pick up the car, it wasn't even cleaned and ready. I had to wait 40 mins just to have somebody clean the car. Service dept was most unprofessional and sales people didn't even bother to say hello.... Never go back there again.

I got it fixed from other Porsche dealer near by.  This was done after I contacted consumer advocate and got a refund from them and not the dealer.  Porsche dealer should have higher level service than but this dealer falls way below average.

Just purchased my second 911 at Jim Ellis and I could not be more pleased with their service and professionalism.

What I appreciate most is that you are treated with respect with none of the typical games associated with most dealerships even high end.

My sales representative was Ben Wheeler and he was candid and straight forward throughout the entire process. Note that I first looked at the new 911 almost a year ago and Ben worked with me over the months to find the exact car that I wanted and structured the deal to suite my needs and this was not easy as I was very particular about what I wanted.

If you are in the market for a new or used Porsche then I suggest that you pay a visit to Jim Ellis Porsche and ask for Ben, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have owned several Porsches, but I had never purchased a new one.  When I had my 1997 993 C4S serviced at Jim Ellis in January of 2012, I met Steven Dooley, with whom I was very impressed.  In the past several months, my wife and I began discussing the replacement of her 2008 Land Rover.  We considered a Cayenne, but decided it was too expensive, so we looked at new Land Rovers and Audi Q7s.  While those were nice vehicles, they we really just "OK"; so we decided to take a good look at the Cayenne.  With good fortune, I found out that Steven was now in sales.  We asked about the V6 (with cost in mind), which Steven showed  us.  However, in asking how we would use the car, he steered us to the Diesel.  He then set about getting us the Diesel at the price we would have expected to pay for the V6.  We are thrilled with our new Cayenne Diesel and very happy with our purchase experience at Jim Ellis Porsche

I brought in my 2006 C2S to get 2 things addressed: recoding for my spoiler and adjusting my headlight.  The recoding was performed without any hiccups, but the headlight adjustment wasn't quite so easy.  My service team kept me well informed every step of the way, showing what was wrong and providing me options to have them explore further.  In the end, they were unable to make the adjustment, because the part itself needs to be replaced, but they did everything they could to help me avoid replacing the expensive headlight.  I also asked for advice on a couple other minor items and felt that they provided me the best advice for me, not just what would benefit them.  I've very happy with my service team and will continue to bring my car to Jim Ellis for service!

I needed a part for my 2003 911 in a hurry. Daniel in the parts department didn't have the part, but located what appears to be the only instance of that part in the US. While that might not be much to get excited about, it was a twenty dollar part, he offered the other dealer's information without me asking for it, and did this over email. Totally saved my project!

I'll be working with these guys in the future!

The sales process at Jim Ellis is good.  I have dealt with Duffy and Michael there, and I enjoyed working with both of them.  Very knowledgeable and friendly.

My review here is focused on the service component.

Porsche wants to be a luxury sporty car company, which I will contrast with its history as a eccentric sports car company.  They now sell more Panameras and Cayennes than they sell 911s.  So now they need to act like a luxury car company, a la Mercedes or BMW.

This is where the Jim Ellis Porsche service department fails.  I have had my car in four or five times for service.  The first  couple of times they didn't offer me a loaner car and instead expected me to sit around and wait for the car.  The last time they didn't have a loaner car available but offered to take me to Enterprise, so I could get a banged up jalopy to drive instead of a Porsche.

Allow me to contrast the two options of either waiting for two hours for my car or being dropped off at Enterprise to get a jalopy with my Mercedes (RBM of Atlanta) experience when I drop off my S-class.  When I make a service appointment, they reserve a Mercedes loaner car for me.  I drive up, they take my S-class.  I meet with with service adviser, who walks around my car with me.  Then my service adviser takes me to the loaner desk where I show my license and get in a new C-class or GLK.  Total time at RBM:  usually ten minutes (during which time they have sodas, coffee and snacks in their waiting room).

Jim Ellis has a spartan waiting room with a vending machine full of snacks and sodas, so bring your change....you'll be there a while too.

I can't believe that this goes on with Porsche Cars North America being based right here in Atlanta, just down the road from Jim Ellis.  In my opinion, the service component is the biggest hurdle to Porsche achieving their transformation as a brand.

I have bought from Jim Ellis Porsche for about 10 years and have never had anything but an outstanding experience.  My salesman, Lenny, is the greatest and takes total personal interest in insuring you get exactly the car you want down to the smallest detail - he truly loves his work and product.

Jim Ellis service is courteous and professional, here is what I wrote after a recent repair:
"Ryan was very helpful, communicated exactly what the problem was and worked with me to establish a convenient schedule for the repair including arranging a loaner vehicle. The car was done early and he followed up to insure everything was done properly - L. White"

This is a nice car dealership.  Everyone we encountered was respectful and knowledgeable.  The team upholds the reputation of the brand by providing a boutique buying experience.

After the sale, this team has continued to surprise us with their interest, concern, and shared excitement about the brand.

Have been shopping with Jim Ellis Porsche for the last 3 years. The experience of buying 3 cars from them has been absolutely fantastic. They take very good care of you. Make sure you try enough cars to find exactly the model you want. They take good care of you while processing paper with fresh coffee, cookies, ... Simply one of the best sales experiences I have had in Atlanta.

For service they loan you a similar style car as a loaner. SVU in means SVU as a loaner, ... Overall they do very good service. I have had a few experiences where service was delayed and I had to wait an extra day. Other than this service has been really impressive.

Jim Ellis offers by far the best car service I have seen in Atlanta.
