Found a car I was looking for online and these guys had it. Made an appointment and everything to test drive the car. Once I get there, I find out that the car was sold. Would have at least like to have been notified of this before arriving.

AG" will go above and beyond to provide you with excellent customer service. He is very honest and trustworthy while efficiently catering to the specific needs of customers. Be sure to see "AG" in the service department if you have to have your vehicle serviced. Too bad I can't say the same for my sales Rep. After I purchased the vehicle I guess he didn't want to know about the promises or the 'We owe U's". Thant's a different story to tell. Hopefully Terrence Liddell will respond to the email I sent to him on 7/23/2014 sooner than later. Thank you "AG" for your excellent customer service! Keisha R. Byard

The worst experience ever :( My husband and I went into the dealership and sat down with Kya. I told Kya exactly what I wanted and boy was I thrilled to hear they had one and that it was loaded AND in my budget!!! We left to make a few calls and returned ready to buy. Kya informed us he was with a customer and that I could use his computer to get approved afterwards. We waited 45 min and Kya came back with keys so we could test drive the car. We test drove it and of course loved it...we walked in ..Kya came up with another salesman and explained the car had just been sold! The other guy took the keys and ran off. I was in shock.. Kya said ill call you if we get anything else in ..we have nothing else in your price range. That was that .After I let the shock wear off I called the dealership and spoke with a msn named Terrance. He explained what Kya should have explained to me. He offered a few other cars but my heart was so set on that one. Kya said that the dealership has strong ratings and has been around for 40 years...he himself being employed for a decade or so of these years...and when u call the message on hold talk about promise and treating people right. Yet I expierenced anything but that.  Im sorry I feel racially pre judged/financially prejudged becayse I noted I was using a consignor/sad/upset with this experience and it has definitely left me with a sensitivity knick when I hear the name Jim Ellis put before any dealership. Had Kya been more serious in the 45 minutes he had me waiting...I would have had my approval and car.

I just had a very good experience with Jim Ellis Chevrolet, and am very happy with the customer service. I brought my Vibe in for some required recall service, all of which was done free of charge to me. That said, my review does not address comparative cost of service. It does address a well-run facility, attentive, knowledgeable staff and a comfortable lounge to wait in. I was helped immediately upon arrival with none of the smarmy 'what do you need little lady' of the auto industry 30 years ago. I was quickly checked in and invited to wait while the repairs were conducted.

My only complaint with the day is the difference between initial estimate of time, and the actual 2.5 hours it took. There seemed to be a small disconnect between the initial appointment I made over the phone and the actual service. For example, I was told that the service would be about an hour, whereas it took 2.5 hours. The appointment record said that it was a drop-off although I said that I would be waiting for it. The check-in tech (who was terrific) asked me for my contact information including email despite that fact that I had given all that when I made my appointment.

Given that I had to hire a caregiver while I had this service done, and that she had to stay longer than we planned, even an hour difference was a meaningful inconvenience. Aside from that, I felt very well attended to, and was very comfortable in the well-lit, very clean lounge/waiting area. With your free WiFi, I was able to keep working, and felt very well attended to while waiting.

Given the high level of customer service, I doubt that JEC is a bargain, but I will consider them for service in the future because of the sheer efficient, hassle-freeness of the visit, and the high quality of service.

So, after sending in the receipt from the fuel pump repairs I paid for and waiting over 2 weeks to hear back I finally got a call today from an advisor stating that I still need a reimbursement form. I now have to wait another 2-4 weeks to get an answer on when I can expect to receive the $420 owed to me from the previous recall. I WILL NEVER buy another GM vehicle PERIOD! That is a promise!

LOVE the Service Department at JEC.  Friendly, patient, and take the time to help.  There's not a lot of turnover, so you can have the same rep for YEARS!  And other team members always are eager to assist when asked by a colleague.

Whatever you are doing JEC -- you're doing well!

I'm sold!

My Experience:
I had an AMAZING experience. It was my first time at Jim Ellis Chevrolet. I spoke first with Tim who calmed me down over the phone and answered every question with respect. He literally saved my day and made it a good day. Then he had me talk to Rick Gonzales who was equally friendly. He set up an appointment for me to bring my car in and explained to me step by step what was going to happen. I was worried about the price because I've always heard dealerships take advantage of people but DEFINITELY not here. He told me it will be covered under warranty and took great care of me and my car. When I got to the dealership to drop off the car everyone at the dealership had AWESOME customer service skills. I mean they really cared about my needs and did everything to put me at ease. Even when the car was not done when I needed it, they have me one if their own for a day or 2 while they finished. Honestly I will not be going anywhere else after this experience. My advice to others, please visit Jim Ellis Chevrolet on Peachtree industrial Blvd if you want GREAT service, FRIENDLY workers, and AMAZING results. I'm just a simple girl who was definitely very pleased with the process from beginning to end!!! Thank you guys for everything. You will see me again!!

I just had a very pleasant experience at Jim Ellis. My car had a fuel leak and after doing some research I learned there was a recall for the fuel pump. I called Jim Ellis on Thursday and made an appt for Saturday. They quoted me four hours, it took only two and a half. Friendly shuttle service to and from my home. No extra frills, charges or hassles. Thanks for the great service Jim Ellis!

F'n Jim Ellis, tried to tell me I needed new front shocks to eliminate the front end squeak and wanted $637 to replace them. My trusted mechanic replaced some bushings and bump stops, problem solved for $219.

The last time they tried to tell me I needed a $285 windshield wash reservoir pump when it was just a disconnected hose.

I have purchased 3 brand new vehicles from Jim Ellis and been getting them serviced there for over 15 years...and this is how they treat their most loyal customers?

Interested to read this. I'm in the market for a new car and decided to go in here, and in fact I was also helped by Kalo. I never received a call back, and went back in a few weeks later and was helped by another sales man. Then, Kalo came out and acted as if I was his customer. The whole experience was very unprofessional and awckward. Avoid this dealer.
