I took my car to this dealership to tell me about a noise I would get when in a turn... They called me back with 5 different items( nothing about the noise) and one if them was that I needed a new engine...  I spoke with Adam the service Magt and finally picked up the car ... Took it to another volvo shop and they debunked all on north point volvo claims about my car.... I would never use them and found there tactics shameful

This review is wholly concerning my Sales Consultant- Richard Ramey. When purchasing my pre-owned Volvo he stayed more than 2 hours after closing time and got the deal done after I had already left the dealership thinking that a new car was not in the cards.
After driving the car only 1K miles the maintenance light came on- service was due on my brand new to me car.
Both the Service Dept and Service Manager said that they would not pay for the service.  Richard stepped in and got my service done at no charge!
Richard Ramey came through for me twice and if I buy another Volvo, there is only 1 guy to go to!

I've been taking my Volvo XC 70 to North Point since I purchased it in 2001. I have never been disappointed with the service. Through all of those years the best service rep I've ever had has been Frank Silva. Why? Simply put, he is (and has been) the most courteous, sincere, and conscientious of all - period.

North Point Volvo has been by far my best service experience yet. The service team seems to all be on the same page and even if they miss something they are always quick to make it right! Oh yeah, and they never try to "up-sell" me on stuff I don't need! Thank you and keep it up!

Their prices for service are slightly less, but they come back with all kinds of things they "find" that need to be done, which come to a substantial costs with each service visit. This has happened twice now, with two different Volvos. Each time I have taken cars to alternate service locations, and each time they have told me North Point's recommendations were not necessary. Beware!!!!!

By far my favorite Volvo dealership.  Let me start by saying that I've only been here for service, and I love the service department.  I'm a single girl who knows nothing about cars, and they always take care of me without trying to scam me.  When I moved here a few years ago, I went to Dyer because it was close to my house.  However, I haven't been back since, and choose to drive further to come here for better service.  I used to ask my dad all car related questions, but since he isn't around anymore, it's up to me to trust my gut.  When I come here for routine service, that's exactly what they do.  They have never suggested any other services, or told me that I needed anything exorbitant.  The only thing that they told me I needed was windshield wiper blades, which I did.  The waiting area is clean, they are prompt, and keep you updated on your car's status.  I'm used to service departments telling me that I need things, which I know for a fact I don't need.  For example, Dyer told me that I needed new tires... they were new tires.  Just because I'm a girl who doesn't know cars, doesn't mean I'm a complete idiot!  The folks who work at North Point are nice, friendly, and I genuinely feel like they are looking out for me, as opposed to looking for a sale.

Quick and easy service department, friendly staff. Recently had to take my car in and they provided exceptional customer service. Would highly recommend be back for all my Volvo needs. Prices are comparable to what you'd get from any other Volvo mechanic. We take our S40 here for oil changes and all maintenance needs.

I always thought dealerships were more expensive than other mechanic shops, but after pricing breaks and an alternator, North Point Volvo always has the best price!

I've been taking my Volvo here for regular maintenance for about 3 years now.  The employees are friendly, helpful, & honest (I love that when they give recommendations of things that can be done, they aren't pushy, unless your safety is a concern). They offer a shuttle to take you to work, complimentary beverages and wi-fi if you opt to stay, or a rental car if your car takes longer than a day to finish.

Overall, I would recommend North Point Volvo for anyone getting their Volvo serviced.

My family has purchased 3 cars from this establishment, but they have lost our trust and business. After my car was totaled in an accident, I found a red 2006 S40 I fell in love with. It had trouble starting just once, but was inspected and claimed to be fine. Less than two months after, the starter had a key-ignition electrical error that was quoted to be about $600 in cost. They knew about it, sold it to me anyway.

Brian and Drew at North Point were great to work with when purchasing my new Volvo. They were friendly, easy going, not pushy, and real gentlemen. They worked with my to get me in a car at the pricepoint I was looking for. I loved that they did all the paperwork before I came to get the car, it made the purchase much easier, and only took about 30 minutes out of my day which I appreciate. Finally, I took my car in to the service division to have my spoiler put on - they were very helpful. Easy to schedule with them, provided me a loaner car with no trouble, and my car came back looking fabulous.

This is a great place to go and purchase a car!! My fiance and I were looking for a particular used car they were selling. The staff was extra helpful, and even though at the time we were unable to purchase it due to personal reasons, they tried to do everything they could. I was even notified by text by an employee to suggest things I should try to get my credit score straightened out. Once again, excellent customer service. As soon as I went there and looked at the car I was greeted immediately outside. Then when I went inside to inquire more info I was offered drinks, and asked if there was anything else I needed. Welcoming smiling faces and positive attitudes. I will definetly buy a car here if I continue my search. 5 stars for them

Best dealership I have been to, make of the cars make no difference.

Best service and I will take my Volvo there from now on.  Spot on service, very aware of my needs without a car as they will shuttle you to the mall.  And by shuttle, I mean dry you to the mall personally in a brand new volvo and pick you up.  They also have a big selection of courtesy cars if you need to drive somewhere.

I will not go anywhere else for my volvo.

I'm VERY skeptical of car dealerships - we all know the stereotypes.  North Point Volvo is a total exception.  I bought a 2004 V70XC Wagon from a lovely gentleman named Tom Karwoski.  After negotiation, I was given a bottom-line, drive-out price, which was never altered - I paid exactly what I expected.  I called Tom a couple of days after and asked for a copy of all the service recordsmy car from it's pre-sale inspection & shape-up.  The dealership had done a oil change, and installed all new battery, struts and brake pads, just beforing putting it on the lot.  Tom didn't even mention this when selling the car to me - it was just a happy accident I found out after I bought the car ( & later confirmed this with my mechanic that this was all done).  

The entire transaction was a pleasure.  This is not your average shim-sham dealership.

I've been looking for a Volvo to replace my 2000 Volvo S70 and because I purchased my S70 used at Northpoint and the experience was wonderful, I returned there to buy a replacement vehicle.  I met with Ross Blaising and could not have been happier with his knowledge, assistance, demeanor and professionalism.   Northpoint is a wonderful car dealershiop, and I'm looking forward to using Northpoint for service on my new XC60.

Up until a few years ago, I never would buy or patronize dealerships - my experience had left me lubricated from interacting with their staff.
North Point Volvo isn't perfect, but they're pretty darn good.
They're expensive, but a Volvo is never going to be cheap.
They do, however, make it easier.
Free WiFi (which I am using now), free drinks, use of a car while they are working on yours or a ride to the MARTA, etc.
I have purchased three cars here so far and have no regrets.
