Had a solid car buying experience at Cherokee Ford. They made me feel like they wanted my business. I had been set on purchasing a Toyota during my entire car search process, but after I visited Ford it was easy to choose Ford.

Cherokee Ford showed much more professionalism and desire to earn my business compared to Nalley Toyota.

I have spent a lot of money here in the past few years getting service and repairs to my car. However, the last 4 times I have stopped in to their "Quick Lane" for a simple oil change, the guy behind the counter was rude, ignored me for several minutes without even a greeting, and then his attitude was terrible. They have literally told me "it's gonna be 2 -3 hours for an oil change" 4 TIMES IN A ROW!!! QUICK LANE??? HARDLY!I went today and tried one last time, and I will Never go back there again. Very sad. At one point they actually had good service in the Quick Lane. Don't waste your time if all you need is an oil change. They don't want your business and they will let you know that in their attitude.

I wish every car buying experience was like this. It was just perfect from the second I walked in to the second I left with my keys to my new Focus. I had 2 guys helping me. David and I am drawing a blank on the other Gentleman, I talked mostly with David. He worked hard to get me exactly what I wanted. I recommend visiting here for a purchase of a Ford or Lincoln. My Dad has purchased a couple vehicles here and it came highly recommended to me from him. I will be going back to purchase my next vehicle.

This dealership is near my office so I stopped in around lunch to look at a few SUVs posted online. I've been researching for a few weeks now and planning to trade-in my existing vehicle toward the purchase of a newer certified pre-owned vehicle of the same model. I was greeted at the door with a smile and a handshake by Matt G. We chatted for a few minutes about what I was looking for and then headed out to the lot.  Even as I inspected several interiors in the freezing rain, he was patient and helpful without giving off a pushy vibe. I was pressed for time so he even agreed to let me take the vehicle that I was most interested in back to my office and return later that afternoon, which would give them a chance to appraise my vehicle in the meantime. My office is less than two miles away, but I really appreciated their willingness to let me drive/inspect the vehicle myself without a sales person looking over my shoulder.  

I returned in the afternoon prepared to start "talking numbers" on three of the options we had narrowed it down to earlier in the day. I had my title in hand along with cash to put toward a down payment and also had pre-arranged financing that I was willing to let them compete on rate. Here is what I learned from this part of my experience...

1. The following text is included on all of their internet ads: "We have the vehicle you've been searching for at a price you can afford. Please don't hesitate to give us a call. No Hidden Fees!"  NOT TRUE! The first offer they presented on paper was $1,000 more than the price we had just finished negotiating and settled on and it was because they tried to add two hidden fees. The first was an "ETCH FEE" of $299 and the second was a "DOCUMENT FEE" of $699!! Both of these are the definition of hidden fees that you should be aware of!

2. Their internet advertised prices are pretty inflexible. In other words, don't make the mistake of seeing a $30k advertised price and assuming that means you'll be able to get it for $26k. Based on my experience, you'll probably pay $29k, maybe $28.5k if it's been sitting there for a while. They defend this by saying that their internet advertised prices already have to be rock-bottom in order to attract comparison shoppers, which leaves very little margin left to bargain with. This makes perfect sense, especially considering that they are located in the immediate vicinity of two very well-known "no-haggle" dealerships.

For the two vehicles I was primarily interested in, which were identical except for the trim package, they were completely unwilling to budge on price. I am not an unreasonable buyer and I'm not trying to get the deal of the century.  But I had done a decent amount of research and after sharing multiple examples of other reputable Ford dealerships in the area offering the exact same vehicle of the exact same make/model/year with lower mileage and with the same or better options but for a significantly lower price, I was surprised they weren't a little bit more willing to negotiate.

I came to this dealership to look at a used car. The salesman seemed gracious, but  really pushed for full price once we got into the building. It seemed that he didn't want to make a deal. He wouldn't go down in price and just kept reiterating the same thing over and over again. He also added a bunch of extras that we didn't want. So my wife didn't go up with her offer. Of course, we don't pay full price, so there was no sale.

Uuuuuuuuh nope!

First time I came here, had a great test drive experience with Philipp H.. However after that we started emailing and talking on the phone about me ordering a car, and as soon as I reminded him about my xplan pricing he stopped communicating. So when I was finally ready to actually order the car I came in to the dealership and I talked to Matt F. He is the king of douches. He told me a bunch of things that I knew to be lies, and he tried to get me to go under contract for a car I didn't want and they didn't even have. He then proceeded to actually get mad when I wouldn't.  Luckily I found what I was looking for at another dealership. I am probably a Ford customer for life, but I will never buy from Cherokee.

I live in midtown but chose to try out this service center due to the yelp reviews. Also there are eateries within walking distance. I am glad I did.  Steve was very professional and answered all my questions. I was a drop in but they were able to service my car immediately.  It took less than an hour. What made this center different was the customer lounge had viewing windows and so this was the first experience I have ever had watching my car being serviced.  I appreciate this transparency. Definitely will return for my next maintenance visit.

Bought my expedition from there in 2011. We have been long time Honda owners but were not happy with the new Pilot models. We went to Cherokee Ford twice over several months while we were deciding. They were great! Low pressure and very knowledgeable salespeople. In the end we bought an Expedition and they gave us one of the absolute best deals around. We are very happy! My husband said that when he gets ready to trade in his car he'll be going there first.

Great experience. Staff is very friendly, does quality work and does is quickly. They are great about contacting you only as much as they need to and not bothering you. They are very accommodating when I picked up my car it had been cleaned inside and out at no added charge. Just a really genuine dealership and I will definitely be going there  regularly from now on.

Extremely disappointed!  We traded in our  Infiniti G37S for a 2013 Lincoln MKZ back on September 7th.  The payment for the Infiniti was due on the 8th and we asked if we should make the payment and we were advised we didn't have to as they would be paying the vehicle off in 10 days.  

Two weeks later we called the dealership to inform them that the bank had called and our payment was late on the Infiniti.  The finance manager said that there was an error on one of the forms we signed and asked that we re-sign.  The next day we arrived and the finance manager did not have the paperwork ready and asked if we could come back at a later date.  Two days later we returned and signed the paperwork.  A week later we received a call from the bank informing us that the Infiniti had not been paid and in 2 days it would show as 30 days late.  We made the payment and called Cherokee Ford.  They AGAIN told us that one of the forms was wrong and we had to re-sign. We refused and demanded our Infinity back and was told it was sold and that they would push the paperwork through.  And here we are, October 10th and the bank calling to let us know that our payment is late on the Infiniti that Cherokee Ford has still not paid off. Mind you, we've already made our first payment on our 2013 Lincoln.  

Stay away from this dealership unless you can afford to make payment for your new car and the car you traded in.

Have been dealing with this dealership for the better part of a week, finally found a car we could agree on.  Discounted price was under 23k (other dealerships had the same deal)  with the options I wanted. Told them the KBB on my car and let them know where I need to be with trade value was told  I would qualify for the various rebates and discounts. Arrived at the dealer and the car was "26k" and the price on the website was just a reference price and the discounts listed on the WEBSITE DID NOT APPLY(was already told they did).IN SHORT, THIS WAS THE CLASIC BAIT AND SWITCH. THIS DEALERSHIP HAS NO BUSINESS ETHICS AND DO NOT OPERATE ABOVE BOARD. In the digital age I thought these deceitful practices were a thing of the past, I naively thought the shady untrustworthy slimy car salesman went the way of the dinosaurs. I was wrong. Do not shop here you will not get the best deal possible.  If you wanted to be lies to and cheated this is your place.  This dealer does not warrant even 1 star.

Not a good business. We bought a vehicle from them in 2008, with an extended warranty. After a while, we began having problems with the car alarm going off at all times. Every time we took the vehicle in for servicing, they told us that they could not find out what was wrong with it. One time we took it in, only to be told that they could not work on it that day because "their guy" was not in that day, implying that we should have called to make sure that they would be able to work on it! Not even an apology. Only one time in the years of going to get it repaired did they try to fix it: by lubricating the hood switch.
Three months after the extended warranty expires, they "discover" that it is the rear passenger door switch, and they want to charge us $300 to fix it. Oh, and they "discovered" it because the computer in the car keeps track of what the last SEVEN things are that tripped the alarm! BUT THEY COULD NOT FIND IT FOR YEARS!
Contacted the owner, Rick Foltz, who returned our call. When He asked us what we wanted him to do about it, we told him "to fix it." He then said he would call us back, but never did. He even refused to pick up every time we called. My wife had to call him on her phone, and he preceded to tell her that he didn't have to fix it and their was nothing we could do about this!
Very rude and they will not honor their obligations.

My friend called the service department to make an appointment for an oil change for his Mazda. They said no appointment needed, just come on in and they would get the filter. He came in the next day and they told him it would be a 3-4 hour wait. I called this morning to see if they had a filter for a 2008 Prius. They didn't even bother to check, telling me that they didn't make appointments and they wouldn't try to get the filter until the car was actually at the service department. I asked how long it would take once I got there...again, 3-4 hours. Just to get the filter. RIDICULOUS! Stay away from this place. Even though they are consistent (both quoted 3-4 hour wait time), they are certainly not customer service oriented. They aren't even polite.

Cherokee Ford was my 3rd stop this morning. Others were either too "busy" or disinterested or unable to look at my vehicle or wanted to keep it for a day or two or longer to diagnose.

Cherokee Ford diagnosed the problem in about :20, offered me a solution/fix within the day and afforded me a RENTAL car for the afternoon. My repair was done sooner than the afternoon and I was back on my way when ORIGINALLY I didn't even expect for my problem to be fixed and possibly not even diagnosed today at all.

This dealership was actually worse than the Ford dealership I visited on Roswell Rd. I came here in Feb 2012 after being dissappointed elsewhere. I walked into the showroom and walked around for 10 minutes before a customer pointed out to a salesperson that I had been there longer than anyone else. This was after I asked for help and they told me it would be a few minutes. Someone then came up to me and told me to keep looking around and they would send someone to me.

Me and my husband walked out back to the lot to look at cars and they finally sent someone out to me. I told him exactly what I wanted and we decided to test drive a car. I hated it - it felt like a starter car. So we went back inside and we talked and it seemed like he understood what I wanted so he said he would make some phone calls to find out if another lot had inventory on the SUV I wanted. So me and my husband sat down to wait. He then tells me that he would call me when he found it.

I honestly didnt understand then and I dont understand now how people would let money walk out the door. I left and went up the block to Buick and purchased a brand new car.

The salesperson from Ford called me the next day - Sunday - at 5pm, to let me know he had something for me. But he was a day late and then seemed upset that I purchased elsewhere. The service was not good, he couldnt even answer most of my questions

Car issues are never fun.  These people really do want to help and if you aquesque to what they recommend, they'll listen and say "I told you so:-)" when you bring the car in to get fixed.  They are fair about pricing and really do not jerk you around. They may be my new place for repairs.  Thanks dudes!

we bought our 2010 ford here 3 weeks ago. Apparently in the Atalanta area everyone needs a car!
Everyone at the dealership was very kind.

We believe we got a very good deal on the car and would definitely recommend this place. The car looks brand new and was well taken care of.

Special thanks to Linda Garland, the salesperson that assisted us personally. She was patient, helpful and funny. What could you ask more ?

Cherokee Ford.  Used to be Northpoint Ford.  I am so glad they changed!  For the record, the old building is being changed into a Humane Society and just built a brand new, beautiful showroom closer to Mansell Road.

My family and I just traded our 3 cars and got 2 Fusions and an Escape.  The first 2 cars we were helped by Brent (which is now transfered), and Our most recent by Annette and Ben.

The staff is friendly and makes things comfortable- something that I have found recently to be difficult at car dealerships.

Even taking my car to service there has been nice (we had used Sandy Springs Ford for almost 20 years until our advisor left)- and much closer to home.  Sean is a great service advisor.

If you like Ford and live in the Roswell Alpharetta Area, I highly suggest using Cherokee.  They also have a satellite location in Woodstock but I have not check that out.

We took our Focus here for a routine oil change purchased on Groupon. We just moved from PA and had a fresh, full inspection. For that reason, we were surprised to be given a lengthy checklist of "issues" this dealership claimed to have found. We told them we wanted to wait, took it elsewhere for a second opinion and were relieved to be told that only one was legitimate:  bald tires (pretty easy to tell by looking at them). As a side note, we noticed the car started shaking on the highway after this dealership rotated the tires (as part of the Groupon). When we called them, we were told it would be an additional charge for balancing. Needless to say, we had the second place do them :-)  All in all, it was the epitome of horror stories you hear about dealership service centers
