First couple of experiences were good - I worked with a service professional named Doug. Today's experience is disappointing - I made an appointment a few days ago online for oil change and alignment for my truck.

I arrived at the service department 15 minutes ahead of my scheduled time. Three men in the service area at their computers. None came out to me...the customer. I walked in and one mumbled something about someone was just about to come out to me. Hmmm...

He (I think his name is Jason, according to the business cards at his computer although he never introduced himself to me) typed my name and appointment schedule into his computer and immediately said "We can't do an alignment today. We don't have staff on weekends that can do alignments". Wait...what?

Auto Nation - I recommend a couple of things: make sure your service staff understand the definition of "service" (exception: Doug is great) and get a better online appointment system. If you can't handle certain work on weekends, then don't allow customers to book appointments for that work. I'll be reevaluating whether to continue to bring my truck here...

Sherman,

Our pleasant car buying experience turned quickly into a large disappointment after several days (six) had passed and we received a phone call from your financing department stating a mistake has been made and for us to pay an additional $4,000.00 to cover a discrepancy with the pay-off amount entered on the sales contract.

We have purchased many vehicles over the years and NEVER experienced a gross mistake like this before with the only excuse to be "sorry for the inconvenience"?!  Really..., I am wondering if the plates were turned and you would owe us the 4k if you would be agreeable to return the money.  I hope this not true, but it looks like a classic "bait and switch" move.  i.e. we are giving you our employee discount but will get it back later since we made a mistake on the payoff of the trade in.

This is one of the reasons why people hate to deal with car dealerships when purchasing a new vehicle and therefore you will see the future of car buying changing to online purchases.

Again, I feel that we should have been offered something to lessen the blow and show of apology.

Sincerely,

Shelley

I do not understand how this dealership has such terrible ratings.

I had nothing but an outstanding experience working with both parts and service, so I can't comment on the sales department.

My boyfriend and I traveled this weekend from Jersey to Georgia and on the way my boyfriends left wheel hub seemed to have something wrong with it. As we approached our friends house we heard an extremely loud noise and realized that part was shot and needed to be repaired.

We arrived in Georgia at 2am and realized we'd have to  handle it in the morning. We called Chevrolet early in the morning and found out that they had the part in stock but weren't sure if they would be able to squeeze us in that day.

We drove down to the dealership to  purchased the part from the very nice parts employee. From there we went over to service where we explained our situation to Jimmy. He was very understanding and was able to squeeze us in that day.

I can not thank him enough, if it wasn't for him I would of been stuck in Georgia for god knows how long. Not that I would of minded but I had a job to get back to on Monday.

Thank you again Auto Nation Chevroet Northpoint! You are a life saver!

Service reps are way too salesy. Every time I bring my vehicle in for service (oil change), there is another issue that needs to be addressed. I have taken my vehicle to other shops who then said there were no other issues that needed to be fixed. I have had one instance where I had service done at another Chevy dealership (fluid flush), then brought my vehicle in 3 months later into NP Chevrolet, and they said I needed to have the same fluid flush done again, which was 100% incorrect.
I recently gave NP Chevrolet another chance, but I still saw their same "scam"  tactics. Will not return here.

This has to be the worst service department.  I brought a vehicle in for an issue, instead of actually looking for the issue, they kept saying there was nothing wrong.  They did not even put the car on a lift until it was requested.  How can you properly look for a problem under the car without putting it on a lift?  To make matters worse, I took it to another shop to fix the problem that allegedly did not exist and they found a warranty problem that should have been seen when they used their due dillegence.  I will not use this dealership for anything, car purchase, repair etc.  There are plenty of places around that still give good customer service.  I do not wish to be contacted or provided with a contact number to make things right.  I am through with this place and there is nothing they can say, do or offer that would ever change that.  1 star is generous since 0 is not an option.

This dealership gave me very poor service and they said I needed to fix issues on my Tahoe that were not even broken.  I would go to another dealer or repair shop.

No class. Tried to screw me over on repairs and service. Just looking for a money grab.
