Found a great deal on an 2011 Acura Tsx.  We live in Orlando, so it was very important that we get our credit application and financing done in advance, before driving the three hours.

Instantly approved. Asked more than a dozen times from Michael, if we were set and what the roundabout percentage would be. Was told around 7% for a used car. No problem. We make the long haul immediately.

Good old bait and switch.

Then we were told since we have more than one car loan, the banks don't like that and our interest rate more than doubled. Really?  Two friends who work for other auto dealers told me today that it's complete bs. Well, duh.

Horrible. Liars. Schumacher, you are the stereotype.

They called us today, as I said they would, and offered us a lower rate by 1%. I of course laughed.  Jimmy also admitted they lied to us and did not run our credit.  His words exactly "if we ran credit for everyone we would be doing that all day long!"  Thanks Jimmy.

Dropped of Denali for service on Friday a.m., paid $1000 for service.  Picked up same Fri. after work.  Drove home and it sounded like the exhaust or oil pan was loose under the car, it was loud (wasn't like that when dropped off).  Took back 7am Mon, returned call thinking service dept, it was Frank in sales, he wanted to sell us a new car!  Not hard at this point to figure out what they are up to.  Then spoke to Ernest in service, "it was the battery strap" (really Ernest?) and he also said it must have been like that because they didn't touch the battery.  I'm thinking Ernest didn't get his masters degree.  Ah, no Ernest it was not and it was coming from under the car you moron.
I can't believe they sunk this low to try and make a sale; Im sure they thought we had $ to spare after we paid cash for the repairs and I wish it was the case because I do like the new Denali and I will probably get another one; but it won't be from them.
**Stay away from this dealer for a car or service they are dirty!  What a scam, I just can't even believe they pulled that. **

Update: I received a call from Mr. Gould. He seemed very genuine and wanted to know the details of my entire experience at Schumacher. He listened patiently and asked questions. He offered to make good on everything and asked me to give Schumacher another opportunity to correct the problems. I intend to give them one more try. Thank you Mr. Gould.

They are rude and unfriendly. I am a young short female so people often mistake me for a teenager which means i am ignored. Once they knew I was an attorney they would not leave me alone. True to the car salesman stereotype they are scam artists.

Bought a 2012 leftover new Buick Enclave Premium black on black in early January.  Good sales experience with my salesperson, th business development person and the sales manager at the West Palm Beach location as the vehicle was well priced with the Costco Auto Program as well as the other cash rebates and GM credit card incentives and the trade in allowance for my 2008 Enclave was fair when compared to other local Buick dealers in the tri-county area.  Good sales experience if service after the sale never mattered and my wife loves the new car!

The service problem stems from when I purchased the GM factory running boards to match my vehicle's carbon black exterior color as that was a special order part not part of the official sales process that was paid on a separate invoice from the vehicle itself.  The after market parts manager in the West Palm Beach location is pleasant but not very helpful from the customer's perspective.  It took three times to get the part ordered in the correct color and I had to take three separate days off from my work to do something that should have taken only one time  The only thing I was told was that the problem resided with the GM parts supplier shipping the wrong colored items in the correctly color coded boxes.  After the first error, you would think someone at the dealership would have had the thought process to open the box before having me drive up nearly 30 miles each way from Boca Raton to get this done for a second time and finally a third time.  I guess a salaried employee does not care about a customer's time during the work week as he or she is at work anyway with or without me.  The after market parts manaer did nothing for me in this regard (i.e. offer to have someone pick up the car from my home to do the work once the proper part was in stock and verified to be correct or give me some of my money back for the inconvenience and multiple vacation days taken from my job).

I was going to let this escapade go until I saw an email today with a request to do a vehicle survey from the dealership describing the whole dealership experience.  The best part of this saga is that I sent a similar detailed email as seen here to the owner of the dealership (the man you see on TV all the time asking you to come join the family) back on February 4th and never even received an acknowledgement or a response back one way or another.  I could deal with a "go fly a kite" response from the owner if that was what he felt but to just be brushed off left a sour taste in my mouth.  Well, in late January I bought another new 2012 Chevrolet leftover vehicle and did not consider this dealer's Chevrolet unit because of the bad service experience with the afternmarket parts manager I had with the Buick dealer in West Palm Beach.  Now, I want to install DVD players in both of my new GM vehicles and won't consider having this dealer do the work since the owner is too busy to hear candid feedback (some good and some bad) from his customers.

To any potential new or used car buyer at this dealer I will say to be wary of the service and/or parts experience after the sale here but all the best to anyone just wanting to engage in the sales process without ever forecasting the need or desire to have any service or parts work from this dealer.  Good luck!
