Reviews on Foreign Affairs Auto

The fuel pump in my 2001 BMW gave up on the Turnpike on a return trip from Orlando to Miami, and the car was towed to Foreign Affairs (instead of the BMW dealer, 1 mile away). I'm very satisfied with that decision. Joseph Brunn spoke with me on the phone, received me, explained solutions in detail, emailed me estimates and photographs of my vehicle's issues (wasn't just the fuel pump), and allowed me to choose courses of action in a professional, trust-inspiring manner. While I waited in their comfortable, elegant lounge, I was offered refreshments and was accommodated warmly.  The whole experience was singularly classy and positive, considering that their hourly labor cost is nearly half of the local dealer, with twice the perks.

So, the place has a website I found when I needed some work done. You can schedule your appointment on that website, which was handy because I went online about 90 mins before they opened. I requested an appointment for an hour after they open.

The site was so-so: I selected my Make, model, & trim FROM THEIR DROP BOXES. Then, I was required to provide both a phone number AND an email address.

I limped my car to the shop. When I tried to drop it off, one guy said, "oh yeah, we got your notice," as he pulled out his mobile phone. The other guy said, "we don't service those" (in a tone that I found quite rude - not sure why he thought I was the person who killed both his mother & puppy).

1. Why would they have cars listed in their service appointment drop boxes that they do not service!?

2. Why would they require both a phone number AND an email...but then use NEITHER after they checked my appointment request?!

3. Why would they be so rude to a (potential) customer...esp. after they made the mistake?

I had my BMW serviced at Foreign Affairs. They were honest about what my car needed and the waiting area is clean and comfortable to stay while your vehicle is being worked on.

Just picked up my 2010 Land Rover LR4 from service with Foreign Affair. WOW, what great service. Klauss and Frank are 2 top notch gentlemen who know how to treat their customers with, respect, courtesy and kindness. Yeah, service for a foreign car isn't cheap, heck the car itself isn't cheap, but that does not mean that you need to feel like you being ripped off. That is not the case here AT ALL.

Go drop off your lux foreign car baby with Foreign Affair, have an espresso on them and learn what good repair service is.

The staff of Foreign Affairs are dedicated to the love of advanced European luxury cards, with an increasingly interesting side business in customizing hybrid cars.  As the owner of a 2003 Mercedes-Benz E320, I've been very happy with their level of service and quality.

While I have little technical knowledge of cars, they have been very good in giving me honest opinions of what's going on in my car, and have presented repair options fairly and cost-effectively.  They could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge, but they did not.  This is very important when keeping a middle aged European car alive.  They also do excellent, reliable work and are always pleasant to deal with.

I highly recommend this shop and its excellent, seasoned staff anytime your fancy European car goes ill or needs routine maintenance.

Truly the most pleasant and enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had! Great Dealer experience, and add to that the fantastic deal I received on my new Audi A6 Avant, and you have one super satisfied customer. I try not to pour it on too thick in any of my reviews, but Fred and Jonathan really created a customer for life with their handling of my car sale. Professional, honest and upfront, don't hesitate to buy a car from Foreign Affairs.

I recently took my BMW to Frank for some routine maintenance and he now has a customer for life.  They exceeded my expectations in every way, and treated me like family.  Great guys, highly recommended.
