Reviews on Braman BMW Palm Beach

I had a great experience purchasing/ordering my 2015 X5. Mark Jaffe made the buying process fun and exciting. The dealership really made me feel like a valued customer. I was so undecided on what options I wanted on my X5 and made a few changes in the process of ordering and Mark was very patient with me in changing my options a few times. If you are looking for a BMW, I would recommend only Braman and Mark Jaffe.

This place has their shit together! Thank you for being so great.
A special thank you to the management who set the high standards for their staff who make this place what it is.

Jennifer in the service department is wonderful.

Side note: My only comparison is VISTA BMW in Coconut Creek, which is beyond unprofessional, disorganized and poorly managed.

Bought and leased a lot of cars. Have watched all the shenanigans. These guys are direct and straight forward. I'd do it again.

Service is terrible. Bring in to replace simple hood release hatch. They suggest simple maintenance but did not need. Drive out of dealership drive 1/2 mile car overheats and check service light comes on. Who are they kidding! What a joke.

Good lord, I seriously hate this dealership. My appointment was at 11:30am, someone finally approached me shortly after 12 noon. I was greeted with nothing but excuses. For heaven sake, own it for once. They gave me a rental from Enterprise (BMW) and that ironically... needed service. Ok. So around 3:30 I get a call that my car was ready. Because I was working,  I arrived back here around 6pm. After waiting a half hour, someone approached me and asked if I would like my car returned washed?  Seriously!  Are you kidding?? It's supposed to be returned washed!  Now you're "asking me"?!?! Wtf? Why wasn't this accomplished hours ago??   Piss poor!!  Not to mention, the receptionist with the attitude. Not cute.

Bought a 2011 fabulous Mustang GT convertible.  A most pleasant experience at a dealership beginning with Karen who transferred me to Jamal Alsaffer. Met Jamal (very friendly and efficient)and test drove the car and did the deal in two hours! Since I drove up from Ft. Lauderdale to West Palm, they delivered my car with a full tank of gas and new tires. Great communication through the entire process. Found the car of my dreams and had a fabulous, no hassel experience! Thank you, Braman BMW!  Sandra C. Grady, Ed.D.

Great car buying experience at this dealership.  Salesman Adam Levy was very helpful.  Informative and not pushy.  I came in to see a particular car I found on the internet so I knew what I wanted.  Equally as important as the sales department is the finance department. Many a deal has gone sour once you go into the finance department.  I can say that Jim Gilarmo was the most helpful and caring finance person. He put in the effort to find just the right program for me and was helpful in guiding me with the upgrades I added to my financing.  I am a long time BMW fan and owned my 2005 X3 for 10 1/2 years.  Looking forward to another 10+ with my new 2015 X3.  Highly recommend this dealership, sales person Adam Levy and Finance Officer Jim Gilarmo.

First Time Leasing, previously owned a BMW and just recently moved from NY. I am happy with the sales service I received from Adrian Hylton, he was amazing! However, look out for the 'closer, you know the guy that comes in after you think you already made the deal... *not cool. I've  had another experience with this person, (closer) and again was not happy.
On another note, my experience with the service is outstanding, Jose Ortega is by far the best service representative i have ever dealt with at any BMW dealership. EVER! Love him! Overall, my experience with Braman is great!

I have been a part of the Braman BMW family since 2008.  Their quality and customer service recently has been on a decline.  I am no longer bringing my car for service at this dealership and considering changing brands.  My 2012 BMW 135i did not start and had to be towed into the dealership.  After a few days at the dealership, I get a $1500 estimate for a new starter which was diagnosed by their technician.  The starter was replaced a week later. I quickly paid and went to go pick up my car.  Unfortunately the car would not start at the dealership but made the same clicking noise as when it was first brought in.  A week after that I get another call saying the car was fixed.  I, again, went to pick up the car and unfortunately the car would not start the second time.  I started to question the ability of Braman Service to fix the issue at hand.  After three and half weeks at the dealership, I get another call telling me the car was fixed but the issue was the cable to the starter.  I am just completely dissatisfied that the initial problem was the starter.  Why would Braman Technicians replace a major component without testing parts that could involve the starter.  I complained to my advisor which told me it was in the diagnosis report.  Braman had sent me a survey on the service i received which I gave them a below par score.  Chris Huffman, Director of Service, sent me an email asking if anyone on his team had contacted me.  No one had contacted me nor do I believe they care of their quality of service.  I also had complained to BMWNA about my experience which they told me they would keep it on file.  They have lost my business from now on because I feel their technicians are not properly qualified nor Braman Executives try to correct the issue at hand in a timely manner..

Ask for alex simpson. Took hours explaining and letting me drive different cars and models so I could determine (finally) which one I wanted. Very patient with not pushing me to buy something

Unprofessional, rude, do not return phone calls, lost my car on the lot and it took three  people forty five minutes to find it. When lease is up I will never get anything from them.

I have had one of the best experiences in purchasing a vehicle.  I spoke to Neil Vota over the phone and told him the car I wanted.  He was straight forward and told me they had the car and what the numbers were in terms of financing.  I drove to the dealership and everything was as promised.  Everyone at the dealership were courteous, and extremely friendly!!!  I am proud to say I had a phenomenal experience with Neil Vota and definitely will purchasing more cars in the near future.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I was in looking at 2014 BMW 328i. There was a demo on the lot that I was interested in. I was told it had 1 owner, 176 miles, it wasn't on their website and I had to get my own Carfax. The price on the lot was $38,998 and they ever so graciously reduced it to $35,995. I went home to think about it and did some research.  I found this car on their website (VIN and stock numbers match) with an MSRP of $35,995. It has 323 miles (not 176) and has had 2 owners, not 1. I also found the Carfax on their site to validate all of this. I wrote them an email about this and that I will never buy a car from a Braman dealer nor recommend them since their tactics are to lie to their customers. Misrepresenting the facts of the car so they can charge more for it is illegal. I would drive out of town to buy a BMW before I ever buy one from them.

I'm not a big fan of the car buying process.  It's a few steps below going to the dentist for me.  I am skeptical to begin with and I assume I will be taken for a ride (no pun intended).  I had heard mixed things about the S FLA BMW dealerships.  Bottom line is that I had a good buying experience.  My salesman, Mario Ceresa was not pushy, he was patient, knowledgeable, and helpful.  He did not pull the typical "let me talk to my manager and see what I can do".  I did my homework, gave him my numbers and the specs on what I wanted, and he got it done.
If you go to Braman, go see Mario...and the lease finance guy (from Brooklyn!) was great too.
All things considered, relatively painless, which is more than I can typically say about my dentist visits.

Great experience! I have always wanted a BMW but thought it was out of my reach. Colin Richards was great in helping us get our first BMW. He worked all day to figure something out for us. The experience was great and we are enjoying our first BMW. it's a great car! I would definitely go back to Braman to get my next one.

I found the CPO'd M3 I wanted at Braman BMW through the BMW USA CPO search engine. I contacted the dealer as this was the specific color scheme I wanted and enquired about shipping the car from Miami to Houston. I was told it was simple and they frequently shipped vehicles, we agreed on a price which gave a small discount. The price was more than I hoped or expected to pay, but they assured me it was the ""maximum discount"", of course. So I paid a deposit over the phone, reassured by the car being BMW CPO. Two days later I showed a friend ""my car"" on their website, only to find the price had been reduced by $750 since I had paid the deposit. I instantly called and was told this was a ""mistake"" made by the online dept and they would not honor this price for me. I had paid the deposit and spent many hours on the paperwork, and being led more by my heart than my head I shrugged it off and continued with the purchase at the higher price. I paid dealer fees of $500 and shipping fees of $750. The car was shipped two days later than they stated. When it finally arrived, the trailer truck driver instantly showed me the damage to the rear fender that the dealership had signed off on the shipping invoice as ""scratches"". I was assured repeatedly the car was pristine, and again I was reassured by the BMW CPO and the large profile of the dealer. The car was in overall ""good"" condition for it's age, but had 15 - 20 large, deep scrapes in the fender, some of which showed signs of repair. When I called them the next day they denied knowledge of any damage, despite the signed off delivery invoice showing the damage, and asked me to get a quote for the repair. BMW Houston quoted me $900. Braman motors found this amusing and laughed down the phone at me. It then took me THREE MONTHS of letters and phone calls to get $300 from them towards the repair. BMW NORTH AMERICA were very helpful and very concerned, and stated there were similar issues in the past, but they were ultimately powerless to help apart from putting pressure on Braman to provide some service. It got to the point where I'd been ignored, laughed at, lied to, and passed from person to person so much that I accepted the payment in order to just move on with enjoying the car! To add insult to injury, it took FOUR MONTHS for my plates to arrive. The car was delivered in October, my plates arrived, again after countless hours of communication, in JANUARY. Despite my repeated attempts to get some satisfaction from Braman, they were completely and utterly dismissive of me. Whether I was pleasant or assertive, I got the same treatment. Several members of the sales staff and management lied to me on numerous occasions. In the end, FIVE MONTHS later and following pressure from BMW NORTH AMERICA, the solution they offered me was for me to pay to ship the car back to them, and for them to buy it back at the lower market value, and taking value off for the miles and wear I had added to the car. Absolute fraudulent cowboys! Obviously I would not risk sending them my car back, which they knew, so I just had to accept the horrendous treatment. I'm very happy with the car, but wish I'd given my $40k to somebody that would at least treat me with the slightest respect. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! When searching google there are many, many negative reviews for Braman Motors, and I wish I hadn't put so much faith in them just because they are a BMW franchise and sell BMW CPO vehicles. If I had read some of the reviews first, I wouldn't have shipped the car without seeing it.

Zero stars.  They aren't even in the galaxy.  Not going to call out specific sales guy or manager I dealt with when I bought my car, bottom line is:  This is a high volume dealer, they sell every kind of car out there... they DO NOT care about YOU.  They aren't looking for loyal customers.  They don't seem to want repeat buyers.  They are looking to sell as many cars as possible as quickly as possible. It's all about volume.  Not customer satisfaction.  They lie.  They don't return phone calls.  They put out way too much shade.  I will travel hours outside of my area to buy a car as long as it doesn't say Braman on the logo.

Braman BMW Palm Beach is a top notch dealership and the minute I spoke with Marc Jaffe, I felt very A-List.  As a new client, I was impressed with the communication from Mr. Jaffe to make sure purchasing a BMWx1 would run smoothly, quickly and efficiently.  I would highly recommend Braman BMW Palm Beach!

Nicole L. | 2014-06-14

We started a lease on an X1 last night and couldn't be happier with our choice and experience at Braman BMW. Our sales advisor, Nicole Stem, was very knowledgable, friendly, and efficient. We felt like we got a beautiful, quality car at a great price. After spending hours in other dealers' showrooms negotiating and experiencing high-pressure sales tactics, the process at BMW seemed almost too easy!  Nicole was great and we will definitely be buying our next car from her.

I wanted to trade in my current BMW and get a good deal in a new car. Ms. Donna Shankman made this process absolutely seamless and refreshingly easy. Having a female saleswoman was great. She was personable, kind, very bright and knowlegeable and truly sweet. I was able to get the perfect car and I have no one but the great folks at Braman BMW Palm Beach to thank!

David K. | 2014-01-12

If I could give them negative numbers for pricing and customer service I would.  This is the worst sales department that I have ever had to deal with.  High pressure sales and very desperate to make a sale, however, will not give you a good prices.  This dealership starts basically at MSRP and after 5 negotiated prices they were finally what ended up being their competition (Coggin and Vista).  I don't think the salesman (Colin) ever said one ounce of truth to me.  Their sales manager that came out to talk to me was even worse.  DON'T buy from Braman, buy from any other dealership.  I ended up getting my 328i from Coggin and they were honest from the start.  Dealing with them was like night and day to Braman.

Aliyah best Service Writer. Professional, knowledgable, pleasant and  extremely  helpful. My car would not start one morning she sent a tow truck to pickup my car and dropped another BMW for me to use in the meantime.updated me with the progress on a daily basis. Now my car is in perfect working order. Thank you to the whole Braman team. P.S. they washed and vacuumed before retuning it to me. Wow!

I had been looking for a very specific BMW for about four months.  During this time I had spoken to a large number of different BMW dealers across the country, taken a number of test drives and made offers on a few vehicles.  The level of service and attention I received varied from dealer to dealer.  When I called Braman BMW of West Palm Beach regarding a car that I had seen advertised on the BMW USA website that I started to understand what customer service meant.

During the first phone conversation I had a fair amount of questions.  The salesperson said he would find the answers and call me back in five minutes.  I was shocked when he did!  Within a span of about 25 minutes, we had 3 or four conversations, agreed on a price and set the financing.  Over the next day I had no fewer then three phone calls to follow up with me and make sure I had a pleasant experience.

Two days later I flew into the West Palm Beach airport first thing on a Saturday morning and Jamal Alsafeer picked me up in the car I was about to purchase.  I have to say based upon the description over the phone the vehicle exceeded my expectations.  This was a certified pre-owned vehicle but for all intense purposes it was a new car.

Jamal reviewed the car with me and I took it for a test drive.  Again the car preformed as new.  Upon arriving at the dealership I mentioned to Jamal a slight vibration when I applied the brakes.  Within three minutes, a mechanic, a manager and the finance manager all arrived to look over the car and assure me that everything would be taken care of immediately.  This was first thing on a Saturday morning.  Unheard of where I am from.  As it turned out this was a two year old car that only had 2,500 miles on it so it had not been used much and a little rust had built up on the brake rotors.  They cleaned off the rotors and the problem went away.

We filled out the paper work, all the while being well attended to, and they had me back to the airport in time to catch my return flight.

Before I stepped off the plane back home I had a message from Beth at Dealers Choice Transportation that my car had been loaded onto an enclosed trailer and was already in route to my home to be delivered Tuesday morning.

I have purchased a number of cars before but I have never had an experience as I have with everyone at Braman Motorcars of Palm Beach.

Despite the distance they are now my dealer of choice.  I have already recommended Jamal and this dealership to a number of people.  Now if I can just get them to open up in the New York Metropolitan Area.

Thank you Jamal and everyone at Braman Motorcars of Palm Beach.

WOW Braman Motorcars was awesome. The entire experience was incredible. I drove up from Miami and it was well worth the drive. If you go, you need to work with Michael Scharmer.

We recently bought a BMW X5 from Braman BMW.  We had been wavering between Mercedes ML550 and hadn't even considered an X5 since my wife was definitely not a BMW fan....  Mario Ceresa was our client advisor, and before the day was out, Mae was convinced that the BMW was the right choice for her.   Mario was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, patient with all the questions, and stayed beyond closing time on a Saturday evening until everything, including paperwork was i order.
We picked up the car two days later and have been happy ever since.
Thank you, Mario, for being both persuasive and considerate.  Would highly recommend talking to Mario if you need a new BMW, or would like to know more.. H. Clark

Purchased a new 2011 535i and recently had the auto serviced as part of scheduled maintenance. The experience was so seamless and wonderful, I had to write about it here. End-to-end it was a pleasure. After feeling less than enthused about other high end dealerships, I can honestly say that Braman is simply world class.
