I started doing my service in Brandon ford after I was disappointed in Bill Currie's staff. I was hearing weird metallic noises coming from driver's side of my vehicle. In Bill Currie they said that there is moisture on my wheel (still got a paper for that) and claimed that problem is gone. It wasn't. I asked my service advisor Tyler to check this out again and see what is going on with that. They spent some time looking for a problem and it turned out that it is something more complicated. Finally they had an answer for me and found a solution. Other than that Tyler and one of the mechanics drove with me twice to make sure that everything is all right.
I really appreciate Tyler's help and what Brandon Ford did for me. Other than that I didn't have to pay anything because my car is still on warranty. I will keep doing all my service work in their location and will recommend Tyler and their service crew to anyone I know.

First of all I just want to say I hate vehicle shopping. However, my experience with Brandon Ford was a very good one. Kevin Stone is the one to see in sales. He's laid back and not your typical car salesman. He made me feel comfortable and didn't give me the runaround like a lot of other sales people. The sales Manager Zoran was great as well. I love my certified preowned expedition.

I really trust their repair shop to fix our Fords better than any mechanic because they've been trained to work on Fords specifically. I recently took my husband's car in and they were honest about what needed to be done but not pushy about it. They called me to communicate issues/repairs/cost BEFORE they proceeded with anything.

GREAT service, friendly attitude and most of all...honest

I have been dealing with John Lafemina at Brandon Ford for all of my Ford Escape needs for a while.  They always say that for a 2006 vehicle, it's in great shape and that is only because of the service department at Brandon Ford.  John is always willing to work with me as far as fitting me in for an oil change or anything else that needs looking at.  Are there some services they mention (brakes) that I will get done cheaper elsewhere, sure, but for things like oil changes or major engine issues...I will call Brandon Ford again and again!  Some dealerships really try to take advantage of you like Brandon Hyundai, but then there are service departments like Brandon Ford that give you hope in an otherwise dishonest industry.

I had an excellent experience with a new car purchase thru Brandon Ford.  It was my sixth dealership (the other five in Polk County) and they beat the best deal by $2000, explaining that they are a "volume dealer" and can afford to sell for less.  They have over 2000 cars on their four lots.  I received excellent sales service from Tommy Shelly.  From arrival to out the door was about five hours, but that included test drives, price tallying, financing and getting the car prepped.

My only complaints might be the lack of comfort while waiting for the finance people--in an icy cold sterile area and then the "sales pitch" of the finance person wanting to goad me into an extended warranty for an additional $2500 (but not wanting to give me a copy of the rate structures).  He also said that if I applied for credit I'd get an extra $1000 off for about $40 in interest.  THAT turned out to be about $400 in interest paying it off immediately upon getting the paperwork.  Seemed less than honest.

I have had very successful service experiences here--make an appointment! (don't drop in)  They said two hours but I was done in one.  Can't beat that.  They do harass you with at least four emails afterwards with that method tho.

I've had my car serviced here a few times and I have to say the waiting room is nicely equipped and the service writers are friendly. However, they are usually busy and you're probably not going to get in same day.

And, even though they do have some "loss leader" coupons occasionally, you're going to pay top dollar for any repairs.

Case in point, I took my car in for a check engine light and knocking noise when turning the wheels on my 05 Mercury Grand Marquis. After the $95 diagnostic fee, they called back to say that my EGR valve was bad and I needed new upper control arms in the front. The EGR replacement was about $500 parts and labor and the upper control arms were around $500, for a total of roughly $1,000.

I checked the prices in (free site, highly recommended) and they said the average dealer price for the repair should be around $700 and a local shop should average $475.

Sure enough, I called our usual local shop and they quoted under $500 out the door for both repairs.

Yeah, I get the whole "dealer serviced" value, but if anyone could explain the 2x price difference and how I would get $500 out of extra value in this repair by using Brandon Ford, I'd love to hear it.

Personally, I think they are comfortable gouging customers in repair charges and I told as much in a followup email to the service manager. He did reply and offered further explanation on the charges I was quoted.

You've been warned.

Edited: 9/27/12 based on an email from the service manager. I misunderstood over the phone and the cost was close to $1,000 for both the EGR valve replacement and the upper control arms replacement.

Called the dealer because I needed to replace an obscure part. I called to make sure they had the part, no wait on hold there. Asked them to hold the part for me until my lunch break and they did.

I went to the dealer and was in and out because they had the part waiting for me, just great service here.
