Awful. Asked them to inspect my tire upon a routine service as my Bluetooth tpms was indicating an issue. They said everything was fine, tires were rotated, no issues. My Bluetooth changed from right rear to right front, same issue, same low pressure. Once I got home I found the issue- a screw in the tire!
One would think that an inspection would cover this. I wonder what else was inspected that well.
Never again.
Called and spoke with the service manager when I got home. He seemed indifferent and suggested I might have gotten the screw on my way home. No apology whatsoever. Extremely rude and did not seem interested to keep my business.
That's fine; I'll take it elsewhere.

I have recently (within one year) bought 2 vehicles from this dealership, one each for my daughters. The sales experience was fantastic, the sales people are not pushy, generally well informed and above average compared to other dealerships I have visited. However, when the first car needed it's first service, she couldn't get an appointment for several weeks. It took the intervention of the sales person to get her car serviced locally during her spring break. In the mean time she is having her service done in Miami without problems. The second car was just taken for it's first service, a simple oil change that shouldn't take longer than 1 hour according to the service manager. I arrived 10 minutes early, there was a whole line of cars waiting. My service manager was at the end of the line and I was not helped till all other cars, including others behind me were signed in. Then I sat in the waiting room for (now going on three and a half hours) while the waiting room has cleared, in spite of promises of almost being done and getting a "free" car wash for my trouble. Also in spite of going to the sales managers who intervened and inquired about my vehicle. Never again will this vehicle go to this dealership and they just lost a major sale as I was looking at purchasing an Equus from them as well. My wife was wanting a Santa Fe, and that is off now as well. Great cars, but not willing to put up with this DISservice.

So I hate car shopping like most people, but I had a good experience working with Richard at Universal Hyundai Nissan. I originally went to look at a Camry, but because he suggested the Sonata, I ended up getting that one because I got a great deal and I hadn't even thought of getting a Hyundai but it was definitely the best car I test drove.   I came prepared with competitor's pricing and was able to get a fair deal on a brand new car. Richard is awesome there and I appreciate the time he took with us.

Now you may ask why only a 2 star rating if it was so good? Well everything was great until we got to Guillermo one of the finance guys there.  I understand it is their job to sell additional packages/warranties, but I didn't want any of that.  I told myself prior to purchasing the car I wouldn't buy any extra stuff, but was conned into the extended warranty. As soon as I came home I decided I didn't want it and went back to sign new paperwork w/out the warranty. I felt great until 3 days later when he called to tell us he had good news and we needed to sign new paperwork since we got a lower APR. My wife asked if the lower APR was that % w/ or w/out the extended warranty. Guillermo said yes. We went and waited 45 minutes before we got to talk to him.  As soon as we were in his office he tells us he was on the phone for an hour with Hyundai financing, that he had to pull strings to get us a good rate, and that we could now afford the extended warranty since the APR was lower.  I explained that I still didn't want the warranty, to which he began to hold the APR rate hostage (which he said was terrible when I told him previously another dealer did the same thing) saying that it was in "good faith" that he got us a lower rate. My wife told him that he said it would be lower whether we took the warranty or not, and he said he never said anything like that. I asked him if my wife was a liar and told him I wanted to speak with his manager, to which he said we would get the lower APR and we could sign the paperwork and be on our way. He basically called my wife a liar to my face, tried to con me into a warranty even though I said no, and he held the lower APR which we should have received regardless of anything we purchased hostage. In the end we got the lower APR and ate his words. "Good faith" my butt, he just wanted to bully his way into more money.  I really like Richard and he was great, but Guillermo really made me think twice about  Universal Hyundai.

Terrible terrible dealership i regret buying a car from them and the service department is terrible the staff do not know how to communicate well with you as a customer plus all they want is your money they dont care about how you feel about the terrble service

I had a great experience here.  Robin was my sales rep (from the Nissan side-- this place shares a parking lot with Universal Nissan) and he took care of us without being pushy at all.  He didn't nag us in between our visits, which were almost 2 months apart, which most other dealerships did.

We bought and financed here and got an outstanding APR (there was a special at the time).  It took about 3.5 hours to get everything sorted out, but I'm happy with the service I got.  I suggest going in the Nissan side and asking for Robin if you go here for either a Nissan or a Hyundai.  He'll take care of you.
