I hate car shopping and found Sport Mazda to be very courteous, and not all the usual "crap" you deal with when buying a car. Juan was extremely helpful and pleasant. Would recommend this place to purchase any vehicle.

I should have paid more attention to the red flags.  I saw one of their cars advertised onlline for a very reasonable price and drove out there to take a look.  Very first thing I noticed was that the sticker price (and the price they started to tell me was nearly $5000.00 higher than the price they advertised online.  I was quickly assured that since I had seen the online price,  that's the price I would pay. My father was with me at the time,  since if I purchased a car,  he would need to drive my other vehicle back. After we settled on a cost of the vehicle,  including tax,  tag,  title,  and dealer fees,  my dad agreed to drive the other car home while I finished the paperwork.  As soon as he left,  the attitude of the salesmen changed and I was rushed through the rest of the process with little to no information.  Come to find out on my first payment that they raised the price after my dad left by $2,300.00 stating that it was ' taxes '. In spite of the original paperwork saying that the taxes were included in the price we had settled on,  the sales manager told me 'If you don't like paying taxes, too bad' abd said I was lying about the original paperwork.

Very shady dealership.  Unless you want to be scammed by a dealer that changes prices on you and rushes you through the paperwork so you don't notice - keep clear of this dealership.

I had a wonderful experience with the entire team at Sport Mazda. Brian was outstanding as he guided me to the perfect selection, a new Mazda6. Everyone I encountered was extremely courteous and professional. I highly recommend this dealership.

In 2011 i was looking for my first car. A bit of backstory i have a mental disability and this was my first time doing and "adult thing". I was very excited and went to this dealer based on a very good word of mouth reveiw.

I should have known something was up when they refused to let me take the car to a mechanic to have it looked at before purchasing. They said if anything was wrong after i bought the car i could bring it back. Thinking nothing of this i continued with the process. I had to call my insurance company to buy car insurance before being able to drive off the lot. Well state farm informed me that the car was in an accident. I had already recieved the car fax report and there was NO mention of an accident ever being filed. This should have been red flag #2.

after buying my families me changes anic found some minor wheel and suspension damage but it being just a basic check over i dont think they dug to deep.

Fast forward to halloween of 2014. I am involved is a minor 4 car accident. Minor front and back bumper damage.  I get the ok from the at faults insurance company and take it to a body shop where they pull apart the car and tell me that the inside of the car is wrecked. I have pictures and written statements that says it looks like when the car was in the previous accident someone just replaced the bumper coverings and left the inside damaged. There were NO motor mounts and most of what was supposed to be holding the car together was badly damaged resulting in 5500$ repair bill. Thats a third of what i paid for the car.

Do not trust these people. I was sold a defective product that could have had fatal concequences. I feel like my disability was taken advantage of so that they could sell a shitty car.

Leaving mazda they handed me a small hose type thing, told me they dont know what its for, but they found it in my hood. Go to change my oil at jiffy lube, they tell me im missing a small overflow hose that is supposed to be attached to my radiator... I just assumed that the mazda dealership knew what the fuck they were doing while dealing with a mazda. Fucking scammers and  amateurs over there. Dont go to this mazda dealership

My boyfriend and I went in looking for a CX-5 the sales man Julio was nice however when it came down to running out credit after having a sales going on with CFE BANK. They ran my credit mutiple times and sent it to different banks. They did that to both me and my boyfriend after I had asked to just run it with CFE. The sales man told us to leave since it was a Saturday and he said he would call us the next day so we can come back and purchase the car. My BF and I decided to go back to cory fair bank and they told us that Sports Mazda had ran our credits like crazy and it lowered our score.

Called and spoke to Alfredo. He took all my info and juan called me back within 10 mins. i told them the cx-5 I wanted. He said they had it and we went down to test drive it. When we got there juan was a little busy so they passed us to Barby. "She's the best" they said. Well after going toe to toe for a while and I wouldn't budge on what I wanted. We finally ca,e to an agreement.  They really were great about everything. I can be very tough and we both won on this one. I got to drive hime a new cx-5 touring. Barby really is the best. If you are looking for a mazda go here and ask for her.

Terrible experience. Waste of time. No visible pricing on any car, you have to go to their website. Sales people not knowledgable.

Courtney C. | 2014-03-21

We worked with Alfredo over here at the dealership. He was AMAZING! He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, find the right car, and work with pricing options. There was no hassle or games, just excitement over getting my first car from them!! What a great dealership with great customer service and knowledge

I have never felt so taken advantage of when dealing with a business. A complete lack of communication, follow through, and information turned my experience into a huge headache. I live in Michigan and bought a used Ford Focus Wagon over the phone. I was told a price that I would be paying for the car and ended up paying about $2000 more because of all the added fees. This is after I was told I was saving money because they usually add $2500 onto the price of the cars because of "high demand and a lot of competition".  I qualified for a loan at 2.24%, but they said it was "a lot more complicated than it appears" and had me apply through their website. They promised that because of my high credit score they could get me something similar, but I ended up with 6.9% and they told me I could always refinance.

This isn't even the part that bothered me. I was told the tires on the vehicle had passed the dealer's "safety check" but the car arrived with three tires that were almost bald. Pictures of these tires are available in my Google plus profile. I went back and forth with my salesperson, Barby, and the Service Manager about the tires for awhile. I sent them pictures and they said I might want to think about replacing the tires because of the weather in Michigan. I told Barby that when I hear tires pass a safety test I expect them to be above the recommended tread limit, 4/32 of an inch, or at least the legal tread limit, 2/32 of an inch. Finally, I spoke with the sales manager, Dan Parker, who offered me $200 for the tires. Because the cost of replacement tires had been quoted at $270 my response was "I will take the $200, but I will not be happy."  Dan said he wanted to make me happy so he would ask his boss. I ended up having to call Dan back three times over six days to get a response that they would not give me any more than $200. Dan offered to bring this to the owner. This time it took a couple of phone calls over a week to get a response that they would be giving me nothing. I tried calling the General Manager/Owner, Jay Mealey, but he never returned any of my phone calls. I was very polite when leaving messages for Jay and said I just wanted an explanation for why they would not be covering the tires. I even waited a couple days between phone calls because I understand that people can be busy. Replacement tires ended up costing me $315.

At the same time I was dealing with the tires I was also trying to get my loan information and registration. No one could tell me what bank my loan was through or how my registration would arrive. I had to pay Florida registration of $340 and was told I would get a refund for the difference in a Michigan registration, which couldn't be more than $100. It took almost three weeks to find out who my loan was through and it took 56 days to get my registration. I noticed my refund check for the registration was a lot smaller than the difference of what I payed and the amount on my receipt. Come to find out they charged a $150 courier fee without telling me.

My car arrived without being cleaned and was missing the button on the shifter. The dealer's fees were extremely high and they were not willing to work with me on anything. I was always the one who had to contact the dealer and I feel like I gave into everything they wanted but they couldn't help me with anything. A check for the tires would have been a simple solution for all my troubles. The dealer would have still been making money because the dealer fee was $700, documentation fee was $200, electric file fee was $30, and I'm sure the markup on the car was huge. Now I know why this dealer has a Better Business Bureau rating of F.

This entire process took forever and while I understand I was buying a used car, the tires were a huge safety hazard. I should have either been told upfront they need to be replaced or given the money to replace them. While I can't speak for buying a new car from the dealer it is evident that they use many shady tactics for selling used cars. Ambiguous statements like "passed our safety check" and the never ending Liquidation Event that you can find on their website. Save yourself the hassle and buy from somewhere upfront and honest.

I'm conflicted about this one. I received friendly service, but a mis-diagnosis. I was having a serious issue with my car and took a day off from work so I could get it taken care of right away. After an hour or two, they can't get the car to do what it was doing to me (of course). The service manager wanted me to leave it, but I don't have a spare car or a ride home. He said I could have loaner if I came back the next day. I couldn't afford to take another day off, so I said I would just sit and wait all day if I had to.  Lucky for me, after another hour a loaner was returned.

After that, I did a lot of waiting.  10 days of waiting.  I'm not complaining because the loaner was nicer than my own car. But still no diagnosis. One of the mechanics even drove my car home more than once trying to figure it out. A call was finally made to Mazda to see if they knew of this issue. They gave a suggestion, but it was a guess at this point. It was recommended that I should replace a $600 sensor, but they weren't sure and I could just be throwing money at it.

A co-worker's husband is a manager at a Ford dealership. He said for me to bring it to them. I figured why not. It couldn't hurt at this point.

I took my car to Ford (even being a Mazda) and they figured out in 15 minutes that the wire leading to the sensor was stripped and shorting out each time it touched the metal of the engine. They taped it up free of charge and I was out the door. It has been over a month now and I haven't had the problem with my car since!

Great place for a new Mazda.  Enjoying our new Mazda6. Very friendly staff! Nice experience.

Frank N. | 2013-12-12

This place has the worst service comparing other Mazda dealerships in central florida. I had an appointment at 8:30 in the morning and my service was not even finished off 1030 because the people having a good time and I ask what happened and they said they don't have an automatic car wash they have to wash the Car with hand and when I got there to check they haven't even started the washing process and I demanded the key the guy did not even checked my identity. There were horribly slow and slacky and not even say how are you or anything. Showroom was soo dark lol i barely could see when checked out cars in my bored times. No lights on haha. So getho. If u want service dont go there.

Gerald H. | 2012-12-18

It's good service.  Checking for service seemed kind of dicey but they seem to get the cars serviced in a timely manner.

(my husband's experience at Sport Mazda)
These guys are blowing-up on Google+ so it seemed time they got some yelp-Love as-well:

After grinding through two Mazda dealerships, a Kia dealership, a Honda dealership and a Nissan dealership Sport Mazda was like a mirage of friendly service and helpful sales people (oxymoron alert?).

Victor was *awesome*. During the test drive he skipped the usual "let me ask about your job and significant other in a veiled attempt to learn what you make" and we ended-up having a deep conversation about sick loved ones. When it came time to get down to business, things were short and sweet: two rounds of offers in about twenty minutes, great transparency on all the fees AND a great deal.

After weeks of slick sales tactics it was like stepping onto another planet. Believe the hype folks (check their Google+ reviews): give Sport a chance and you'll never go anywhere else!
