Reviews on Fields Alfa Romeo and FIAT Orlando

From the moment you walk in you know that this isn't your ordinary car dealership.  The complete vibe and environment is different.  I went to look and possibly test drive a Fiat, no pressure from the first moment.  Andrew T. was great, friendly without being fake, knowledgeable without being pushy.   I ended up custom ordering my car...then the long 6 weeks of waiting, which was torture for me!  Andrew sent me update throughout the whole process.

When my car came in, the actual buying process was as painless as could be.  Andrew was there, making sure my car was perfect and ready to go.  Jessica, made the paperwork/financial process super easy.  They are big on transparency, no bait and switch or man behind the curtain routine!

I absolutely love my car and this was the best car buying experience I have ever had!  I won't hesitate to recommend Fields to anyone looking to buy a new car.  Please go see Andrew at Fields Fiat in Orlando!

Thank you for making me feel like part of the Fields family, not just another sale!

Call me conflicted but I had my mind set on a used Corvette and somehow ended up with a Fiat Abarth.

Living on Orange Ave, I've walked by this Fiat dealership several times and have always been a tad intrigued by these machines.  What initially caught my eye was the black Abarth in the showroom.  Anyways, the other day I was car shopping, mostly on the internet because I HATE going to a car lot and being infiltrated by sleeper salespeople ducking between cars and flanking you while you try to evade them.  I figured I'd stop into to Fiat here and see what was up.  To be honest, I was expecting pushy sales people and business managers asking "where do you want your payment to be" and I gave myself a max of 35 seconds before I was going to bolt out and go buy my used Corvette that I had on hold.

It was exactly the opposite of what I expected.  The first thing that intrigued me and got my attention was the layout of the store.  Come to find out they are called "studios", which is cool, and it had a really modern and fresh feel for a car dealership.  There was no stalking salesmen, no salespeople sprinting behind you with a taser, none of that.  I was greeted right away by a lady at the front desk who was super cool.  I told her I was just going to browse and I went about browsing.  There were no gimmicks, no hide-and-seek from salespeople, nothing.  I went right back to the Abarth and salivated.  For a guy like me who likes roadsters and muscle cars, that says a lot.  It was really cool looking.  Trust me, they've come a long way since Chevy Chase drove the roundabout in European Vacation.  I was eventually greeted in a very nonchalant manner by Tom Mikl.  I told him I was just looking around and was doing my due diligence before I hopefully purchased a Vette.  Instead of starting in on a sales pitch he asked me if I wanted an espresso or bottle of water while I browsed.  Trust me, at this point I still had my guard up.  Long story short, I ended up sitting down with Tom and letting him know where I was at, what I intended on doing, and what would need to be done to facilitate any sort of deal on a Fiat.  What I respected was before Tom even tried to start rolling the ball down the hill, he recommended I drive an Abarth before we even talk numbers.  We all know most salespeople would've tried to get you to buy the dang thing and then test drive it.

We took out an Abarth and Tom was very "no pressure" and explained it all to me as I drove.  I loved the car.  Seriously, I loved it more than the Z4 I drove, the S200 and the used Vette.  It was just something unique and refreshing.  We eventually got back to the dealership and I reiterated that I needed to be where I needed to be with no exceptions.  I really wan't in the mood to debate or negotiate.  Tom wrote down what I said, didn't try spin anything, and went and got a price for a trade on my truck.  He even went a step further and called another one of their dealerships and got me a higher value.  What I appreciated about this experience was that no manager came and tried to tell me some BS about "the black book" and the whole "well, this vehicle is going or XXX amount at auction".  God, I've heard that crap so much!  Tom and his team came back with the number and didn't try spin the deal in any deceptive way.  What I also like is that I wasn't pressured to finance through them.  I made it clear I was only financing with my bank back home and he was good with that.

I ended up buying the car and came back today to purchase it.  They did it right.  They set up a time, everything was ready to go, and Tom also introduced me to the team and also explained every button in the car.  They also have free gelato, which I had and spilled all down my pants on my first spoonful.

What was cool about the whole experience is that it was completely different than any car buying experience.  I've had Honda's, BMW's, Ford pickup, Dodge pickup, and the list goes on.  I've never had a more enjoyable experience as I did at this Fiat dealership.  You can also bring your Fiat to this spot any day of the week as many times as you want and get free car washes and sit inside and drink espresso and eat gelato.  I feel like this must have been what a Starbuck's felt like to a society of Folger's drinkers when the whole coffee shop phenomena first took place.  It's different, it's modern, and it's a very refreshing take on the typical annoying car buying experience.  I also appreciated that Tom drove an Abarth and was passionate about selling what he has an interest in.

Definitely worth stopping in.

The best car dealership experience I've ever had.

I had to resist writing a review immediately upon the purchase of my car, so I can write about other aspects of my experience as well, including follow-ups and service.

So far, everything has been stellar.

Everyone that works here is incredibly friendly, and not in a douch-y way. The showroom is well curated, and it helps that they always have plenty of gelato, espresso, and other snacks to enjoy while waiting. Its convenient location downtown also makes for an easy walk to quite a bit of restaurants should you get hungrier than a snack can help you with.

I have not had any experience with the other Fields dealerships, so all of this has been a pleasant surprise.

I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a Fiat.

Great dealership located in the heart of downtown Orlando. Bought my car here a few years back and I still come in for routine service every so many months. I love my car and I get superb gas mileage.

The sales floor is fun to browse and they sell car accessories to customize your ride. They even have accessories like clothing and other gear.

The showroom area has snacks, espresso, and even gelato. Fun atmosphere to browse or test drive a car. I found out this week that the dealership will also start selling the Alfa Romeo which is a new vehicle for U.S. production. Excited to see the dealership expanding their product line and hope they stay downtown Orlando. I love this cozy little location.

I've already bought two Fiats from Fields and each time the pricing and service I have received has been fantastic. Mike, Larry and Jessica are awesome. Highly recommend!

We went to a couple of dealerships before going to Fiat. At these other dealerships, the sales people would be on us before we finished parking the car. They practically smelled of desperation. Testing driving cars should be fun, but most of these dealerships have managed to make it a chore. Not so with Fiat. It was a great experience. Mike & the manager Larry were great. I had a miscommunication on a fee that was quoted and they worked hard to rectify the situation. We had to bring my kids for the signing of paperwork. They were really nice to the kids and helped them gorge themselves on gelato. Also, get the panoramic sunroof if you can - my favorite feature of the car.

I have had my FIAT for over 2 years and all positive experiences with Fields FIAT. Previously I had a MINI and did not have a very good experience with Downtown MINI, so it took a lot for me to come back to the location to shop for a FIAT! Tom, Larry and Junior have been fantastic to me and I have already been thinking about my next FIAT purchase! Great Car, Great Dealership!!

Heather B. | 2014-06-05

Best service in town! Bought my first new car today and I would have been sad if it was anywhere else! Very clean and professional and awesome staff =) Andrew, Tom, Jessica, and Junior are the absolute best! Thank you guys =)

I have been through a LOT of car buying experiences and usually they end with frustration, annoyance and an increase in debt.  My experience at Field's Fiat was anything but that.

First off this is not a "dealership" this is a STUDIO.  It may be just a cute naming thing but it really does help to set your experience apart.  I went to Field's with a check from Capital One ready to go.  Thankfully Andrew and Larry both convinced me to at least let them take a shot at the financing and they were able to cut my interest rate in half and offer a superior product.

At no time did I feel like I was "waiting around" for some mystery man behind the curtain to come out and talk to me.  I was offered water, espresso and even Gelato (I only took the water, I swear).  Even when they knew it might take a little work and elbow grease to get me the right deal they didn't make me wait around.  I was told they would call me on Monday when the banks open and they sure did, with great news no less!

I took delivery of my 2014 Fiat 500T that same day and I could not be happier.  Now I have an amazing car that I love like no other and I have a great team at Field's on my side.  Field's is happy to wash your car when it needs a bath and will always greet you with a smile.  They have made the ownership experience so much fun that I am eager to head out with the local Fiat club this weekend for my first real road adventure.

I highly recommend this studio for all car needs.  From the 500C to the Abarth they have a 500 for you.  For those who want something a little bigger you can't go wrong with the amazingly well equipped 500L.

Brianna G. | 2014-04-17

The service center at this is location is awesome. They fixed my car in less than 24 hours and were confident that they fixed the problem.

Choose this place over Greenway Fiat if you need repairs.

Jose C. | 2014-03-18

looking for a cool and hip car? well, look no further because they got what you need! whether you need something fast or a something to drive your family around, come by and test drive an Abarth or a 500L respectively.

this FIAT studio/showroom is very cool! the vibe is upbeat and everyone is so friendly here. so throw out all the bad car shopping experiences you may have had in the past, and go there for a great experience!

while this brand may not be $$$$, but the attention to detail and the brand itself speaks more than volumes not to mention the long great history that FIAT has.

the customer service here is great and unassuming. talk to Larry Taylor and I assure you will not be disappointed of the quality of service here! he will go the extra mile to make sure you leave satisfied!

so stop in and say hello or ciao and leave a happy FIAT owner!

Gail W. | 2014-02-05

The best car dealership! They treat you like family here, I can stop by anytime for an espresso while my Fiat gets washed. Ask for Tom or Larry. The service department are so kind & helpful too, I look forward to coming in every time! I love my Fiat Family!

I've owned my Fiat for about 8 months now.  I have to say the sale was smoother than I think I have ever had before.  That's the good.  Now for after the sale.  I have had my car there once for service.  I have attempted a couple of other times, but it is VERY DIFFICULT to get an appointment.  I've stopped trying.  When I went to pick it up, the car was horribly dirty from being under a tree during a rain storm the night before.  I was told that it had been washed then parked under the tree.   I asked if they could rewash it, and the woman behind the counter just said no.   They are proud to announce during the sale to bring the car in anytime for a car wash.   I've tried twice and have been told they are too busy and I should have called for an appointment.  (That was per Tom, my original sales person).    Fields has made me lose confidence in them.  This is truly sad...this could be a great dealership.

In early 2012, I started looking at new cars. I was looking specifically for something sporty, with a manual transmission. At other car dealerships, I had trouble getting anyone to take me seriously. By the time I got to Fields Fiat a couple months later, I was frustrated and worn out - not a great frame of mind for car shopping!

Larry was awesome. My ability to drive a stick was never questioned; Larry just told me how awesome the Abarth was and made it easy for me to order one - while I was nervous about buying a car without seeing it (the Abarth wasn't released yet), he made the process easy and managed to renew my car-buying enthusiasm.

While I waited for my car, he was always available by phone for questions. He and Adante kept me up to date and in the loop.

And when my car arrived, they made all of the final paperwork not only easy but exciting.

Since then, I've gone back to Fields Fiat for servicing and oil changes on a couple of occasions. They have been super responsive, accommodating, and communicative at every stage. Kathy, the service manager, has dealt with me when I am stressed and kind of freaked out and never once been anything other than patient and kind - and also really efficient at servicing my car!

Basically, Fields Fiat is a great place to buy a car. But it's also a fantastic place to go back to when you own that car. The free car washes and the welcoming customer area are all part of that, but ultimately what keeps me coming back is the conviction that I am not going to get better customer service anywhere.

We'd been on the fence about which car to buy for the last few months, but after just two trips to this Fiat dealership we knew these were the cars we wanted and these salespeople were the ones to buy from.

Very trustworthy, personable individuals who are more interested in our needs rather than their quota.  In fact, the dealer we dealt with told us about their specials, but did not jam the information down our throats.  Even though the specials were not what we wanted, he still went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome during the transaction.

Now we've been very happy owners for the past several months and have made great use of the amenities which come along with owning a Fiat.  Their auto service is staffed with what we would call world class mechanics.  We have our cars washed every month gratis, and won't have to pay for an oil change for another two years because we purchased them in bulk in advance.

I've been to the Fiat dealerships in central Florida, but they are far behind the curve set by Fields in Orlando.

If you want a Fiat start here.

I've had my FIAT for officially 3 months and I love it!  Not only do I love my car, but I can't say enough good things about Fields FIAT and the entire Staff.

When I went shopping for a new car, I literally went to every dealership in town. Time and time again I felt like I was being swindled and not a single dealer was listening to what I wanted, needed, or could afford. I wasn't getting legitimate pricing on cars and a few times I was asked "How much would you be willing to pay for this car?"  It was an awful process that left me deeply frustrated.

Finally, I decided to head to Fields on my lunch break, as it was conveniently located near my office. Best decision ever!  Car buying was a smooth process and actually quite enjoyable.  I test drove a FIAT POP and asked for time to think since I don't do well with making quick decisions on large purchases.

I went back a few times with questions and there was never pressure or any type of hassling, but rather a desire to help find the perfect car for me. I feel bonded to the staff at Fields FIAT and really value the relationship I have created with Andrew and Larry.

Honestly, save yourself some time and go to Fields first.  It will be the best decision you make when it comes to car buying.

My husband and went it Fields Fiat because my husband wanted to look at the Abarth, We were greeted by Andrew who put us at ease- no pressure at all. He answered all of our questions directly and politely. After a test drive that included both city and interstate driving, my husband decided the Abarth wasn't for him, Andrew then showed us a 500 Turbo, the next step down, which my husband actually preferred. We made it clear that we were not buying that day, and Andrew was totally cool with that.

Then I decided I wanted to drive a 500 Sport. I fell in love with it, and ended up going home to get my trade in. Negotiations were stress free, quick, and fair. Larry, the Manager took care of all the paperwork in a friendly, professional and efficient manner,

And my husband? He bought a 500 Sport two days later. He is as happy (and possibly happier) than I am.

This is by far the best experience either of us has had purchasing a car. My parents and hisband had been treated quite well at another Fields dealership (Mini) but Andrew and Larry truly made us feel as if we are a part of the Fields Fiat family.

Add in free coffee or expresso, free ice cream, free car washes (and washed when brought for service as well.) Speaking of service, they also have free service loaners. What's not to like?

I would give them 10 stars if it were possible.

Fields Fiat is a unique dealership that depicts the look and feel of an art gallery. Situated in the heart of Downtown Orlando, it is a must-stop for car shopping. They also have complementary gelatos and cappuccino to enjoy while you check out the wonders of a Fiat. I really like the no-pressure environment and my sales person, Tom, was very knowledgeable regarding the Fiat. He kept in touch with me throughout the whole process and helped me set up my BlueMe communication before taking off with my brand new car. I've received so many compliments regarding my Fiat. I love it because even when it is economical, it is still a fun car to drive. Fiat really knows how to mesh both together =)
