Reviews on Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge

I bought a Jeep two weeks ago. My sales person, Jose, was very nice, informative, sincere, caring, patient and not to pushy. A good sales person that seemed genuinely concern that I was making the right decision. Management on the other hand were extremely pushy, uncaring about my comfort and didn't seem to possess one ounce of  integrity or honesty. They made me feel so pressured and uncomfortable I left without buying a Jeep I really loved. I went home and later that night feeling so uncomfortable I went back on line to shop for a similar vehicle. I found the same vehicle advertised on multiple sites including their own for substantially less than what they were offering me. I brought it to their attention and they showed me the fine print,  the price they  advertise was after a deposit. They told me that's what all the dealers do and they have no control over what other sites like autotrader or cars.com put on their advertisements. I checked a few other dealers and didn't find any that were advertising the price in bold as a price after a deposit. Nonetheless I decided to buy the vehicle but only because I felt somewhat comfortable with Jose and I really loved this particular Jeep which is a hard to find color. After taking it out for the weekend, I was still questioning my decision so i went back to compare buying new. I was disappointed but not surprised when they told me I would have to pay their multiple fees all over again even though it had only been 48 hours. The issues continue.
Part of the agreement for purchase was that they would do their best to take out some scratches. Before I took possession of the vehicle their detailing team did an outstanding job. There were more so I was to leave the car the following weekend for the scratch expert.  I left the car for the weekend, came back to find a dirty Jeep that looked worse. The only evidence that it was touched was a couple of areas where they left wax and I could see scuff marks from where it was compounded. The fact that is was not clean was an indication that these guys just don't care. They've sold the vehicle.

In all my life I have never had such a bad feeling about working with a dealer. I am seriously considering trading it in but I will have to go elsewhere.  The two stars are for Jose.

Terrible company! Chrysler needs to know how awful these people are with their repeat customers. I baby my cars: hand wash and wax, pristine inside and out. So when I had to take my car down for a recall, I was appalled at the damage to my vehicle. They ran my car through their automated car wash which ripped off part of my exterior. When I pointed this out, the service adviser said my car was old and proceeded to try to rip away the matching piece on my car (he was unsuccessful). "Too bad--not our responsibility." I will NEVER step foot in Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge again and wish I had never purchased two Chrysler 300 vehicles. My next car will be a Ford or Chevrolet (I always buy American) but Chrysler has lost my business for life, thanks to the unprofessional behavior of its representatives. If you must have a Chrysler, get it from Orlando or Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge--not this dealership.

Old bait and switch "stealership" tactics.  I went in and was given by the sales MANAGER a great price (not too good to be true though) on a car. I came back a couple days later, and they completely reneged on their written offer. They raised the price by almost 15% (thousands of dollars)! Not to mention, they charge the highest "dealer fee" I've seen: $800.

I bought my car from here and had a great experience, I got my car down to a price that I can handle, however, My pinky has more personality than the guys in service.

As I sit here waiting for them to get their stuff together for a simple oil change it took 3 requests for them to at least start my car as they wait for paperwork. I've been sitting here 30 min and the service agent hasn't talked to me, he's yawned in my face which I am truly shocked about. The gentleman training is doing a better job with customer service - guy deserves a better position!

Even better he just asked if I was sure I wanted my oil change done...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

I bought a Jeep in March.  Very expensive. Sales staff your buddies until they have your money.  Service staff insulting and talks down to customers.  Complaints to CFC management went unanswered.  Jeep is great.  Buy it somewhere else.

Do not trust this place with your car or your money.

Time and again, my work has been taking our fleet to this dealership for some time, which results, every time, in a litany of unnecessary repairs and "maintenance." These scheisters think they can insist we need $500 in repairs with every visit. Even though it's 'only' my work fleet that's getting fleeced, I aim to see all interaction with these liars severed.

The last time (and yes, there were many "last times" since my first review; CFCJD has someone who flags bad reviews on a regular basis, the perjurers), they ran a multi-point maintenance inspection on the vehicle, "found" a lot of problems, called it fixed, and gave it back to us with a hefty bill. A quick look at the supposedly-replaced air filter showed a powdery mass of black dust. Obviously they hadn't even checked it. Another time, they claimed to have performed an alignment, charged us for it (Of course they did!), and clearly did nothing to the car.

Generally, we can assume that about one in four repairs that they charge for will not be done, and the remaining three were unnecessary or inflated to begin with. Bringing this up elicits a blame-the-customer response, followed by (if the evidence is overwhelming) an I'll-do-you-a-favor-here-buddy refund. They aren't stupid, they aren't lacking in confidence, no, they are exactly the kind of people who can coerce someone into paying for repairs they most certainly don't need.

I'm relishing the day that they lose our account. Of course it is only a matter of time before their dishonesty catches up with them. There was once a fable about a goose who laid a golden egg each day...

Usually I give the workers the benefit of the doubt, assuming it's a systemic issue, prodded on by managers or some such thing. Not here. The salesmen are a bunch of bloviating cowboys who will do what they can to make you feel like an uninformed idiot if you dispute one of their outrageous claims. They are very good at making you feel like a real asshole for inquiring about that extra $85 on your bill, or wondering whether that head gasket was really "shot." Through prayer I have also determined that Jesus hates them.

And that's just the repairs. Imagine buying a vehicle here! Might as well take out a few payday loans, travel to the Atacama Desert, and feed yourself to vultures. But seriously, folks, this is a dealership for another time and,  when the customer was helpless and uninformed. We have ways of determining who the liars are now.

I went to Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge looking for a new Jeep.  I was able to do most of the boring un-fun stuff by email and phone so that was nice.  I did not end up purchasing a vehicle here but I did go through most of the process.  The staff was nice but in the end it was a very typical car buying experience.  Lots of time sitting at a table, not a lot of communication and you kind of just sit wondering what is going on.

That being said I do appreciate their hard work and their professional attitude.  Even though I ended up going with a different vehicle and dealer I still think I had a decent experience here.

Very bad experience called to make appointment for a recall, they say would call me back to make an appointment. Never called back! Called and made an appointment, verified it even, went for the appointment, and sure enough no appointment. A waste of time. Will take business elsewhere. Inaccurate information given, lack of professionalism, just horrible experience.

As far as I'm concerned their service department is top notch and one of the best I've been to. Randy in service is a longtime service advisor and has been great over the past few years. The sales department on the other hand needs some work. I have bought my last two vehicles from here and was reluctant to buy the second one however they had what my wife and I were looking for. Unfortunately they had a vehicle advertised for one price, offered us more then blue book for our trade then tried to jack up the price of the vehicle we bought. I realize you can not expect retail for your trade and expect wholesale for your buy but they were the ones who offered more then blue book so that should not justify upping the price of the purchase beyond what it was advertised. After HOURS of negotiating they finally accepted and we got our vehicle. In short be sure to know what you are doing before walking into any dealership.

This dealership is a living example of the old-fashioned, antiquated car dealership. The sales people are all sorts of sketchy, using old tactics to rope customers into less than desirable deals.
A few sales people to be mindful of:
- JP, he means well but he's too unseasoned and doesn't seem to know what he's doing.
- Lee fits the bill of the typical car sales guy. Very misleading and sketchy.
- Chad, the manager, lacks follow through with customers

The service is great, Just make sure they fill out you inspection sheet and its accurate, before leaving the shop.
