So we bought a used 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS. We really loved the way the car looked and drove and the two bonuses were low miles and it was certified used with an extended warranty.

Our buying experience was interesting to say the least. We met with Luis our sales rep. He is young and very friendly. He has great customer service skills. He spent time with us, getting to know us, our likes and dislikes and how much we were willing to pay. Alan and I went in knowing how much we were willing to pay and we knew "the dance". Luis went to the Used Car manager, Lance with our sheet and came back with a number. We just laughed, we knew they could come down in price and we told them how Alan's dad had the exact same car except a different color, automatic vs manual, and mileage and how much he paid for his car.

Luis had to go back to Lance and discuss our price. They both returned and Lance shook our hand and introduced himself. We talked for a little bit about this car and how Alan's dad had bought the same car in Philly and we know how much he paid. We didn't want to pay CB's price and we were going to stand tuff. Lance told us there was no way Pop Pop (Alan's Dad) paid so little for the same car. We told him we could get hime on the phone if he wanted to talk to him. Lance wanted us to look at the "invoice" and he would show us how much this car was really worth. We said we didn't want to see his "sheet"....thanks but no thanks we said.

So here is were it gets interesting...Lance decided to throw his hands up in the air and turn and walk away from us. Can you believe that? What kind of customer service is that? We looked at each other and Alan knew by the look in my eye that I was done. We really wanted this car but we knew the "dance". We got up and told them "I guess we'll take our business to another dealership." I couldn't believe that CB had this guy representing them. What kind of customer service was this? Very unprofessional. So we left and drove straight to Greenway Ford, just down the road. When we left we said we wouldn't buy a car from CB if we had to deal with Lance. We looked at other cars but knew we wanted that Camaro. But we weren't going to allow Lance to treat us that way, as if we were stupid. We knew they would call us back the next day, it's all about the "dance"!

So why four star for Carl Black Chevrolet? They called us back the next day. Luis and Ishmael (another manager). Ishmael was so different than Lance. GREAT customer service!!! They won us over, thanks to Ishmael! I can't say enough about what a great buying experience we had the next day at this dealership. Even the money guy was very cool. They came down on their price and we came up a little. It's all about "the dance".

So what happened with Lance? Well, he called Alan two days later and redeemed himself! He apologized and wants to go over the certified warrenty with him and also give him some detailing coupons etc. Nice! We are very happy with Carl Black...Thanks again!

Reviewed before and was hoping for improvement. Just not there yet. Took my sons car in for a recall order. He made the appointment and was told it was a simple fix and would take maybe five minutes. Showed up for the appointment, waited about twenty minutes to talk to someone and the service writer told me it would take about an hour. When asked about the five minutes comment he told me yes, the work takes about five minutes but it take an hour to process it through their service department in back. I then made a comment that the appointment process was kind of useless then and he told me, with a straight face: "the appointment is just for us up front. Once the car is in back it is first come first serve." The fun part of the appointment was sitting in the over full waiting area with people that had been there for several hours listening to everyone sharing their horror stories on this service department. Just incredible that they could continue to be this bad.

This place is horrible! Both sales and service are the worst!

Sales: My girlfriend and I went to check out the Sonics to see if they would be something we were interested in and maybe take one for a test drive. When we were approached by the sales person we told him we weren't looking to buy today so he brought over some new guy who didn't know anything to assist us. After the test drive we asked for a business card just in case but it ended up turning in to an ambush constantly asking us "So did we earn your business". NO YOU DIDN"T. They were just all around pushy and really made me feel uncomfortable.

Service: After buying a Chevrolet from another dealership we took our car to Carl Black to take care of a recall and a small issue that was covered under our powertrain warranty. I have never seen such horrible service from a car repair facility in all of my life! They don't call you to give you updates, and getting ahold of them to get a status takes forever because they never answer and you end up getting transferred back to the front desk. They didn't even bother to call to tell me my car needed to be kept overnight. The next day we got a phone call saying they took care of the recall and that the other issue required a part they didn't have so they had to order it. The recall was just for a coolant inspection (They had to keep the car overnight for just a coolant inspection!? Thats ridiculous!) We picked up the car because it would take a few days to get the part in. We were told to drop the car back off that Wednesday morning because the part would arrive Tuesday night so when we dropped the car off, they didn't even have the part! They said they would call us in an hour to let us know if the part came in. 5 hours later I ended up calling them (Took me 20 minutes to get through to someone in service) to which they said they had the part and the car would be ready by 4pm......It is now 5:30pm as I sit here writing this and no phone call.

This place is horrible. No communication, no customer service. They are all rude.

Carl, your place sucks. I would never ever ever in my life buy a car from here nor will I ever take my car here to get serviced EVER again.

Was in for servive today and found they have waiting area with 5 coffee carafes,  cups, teas, sugars etc... Nice right? Ha they are all empty wait... actually one spit out about a teaspoon of cold nasty looking coffee in a cup. So guess no coffee for me or anyone else. Ahhh popcorn machine cool! That's nice to offer a little snack while we wait.... yeah, no not today, popcorn machine has some old looking popcorn remains in it but not more than a handful at best and it looks like it's been there for days.  Come on guys you can surely do better than this. It's not like it's closing time. It's barely past noon.

Fact: this place fed Rodney Chik-Filet and donuts very early in the morning while they diagnosed our vehicle.

Fact: It's huge and shaped more like a sports bar with tons of flat screen TVs and seating than a dealership.

Fact: They gave us a driver and picked up the stragglers at the hotel, brought us by the trailer place to pay for our trailers wiring to get redone, drove us to a bank, and brought us back here.

Fact: the fixes were all under warrantee. I'm gonna sit next to this old chick who's fucking RIVETED by FOX news while eating popcorn and play baldurs gate 2 on my iPad all loud. I am mostly through the whole first dungeon segment and I'm having way more luck with a balanced party, I don't know what I was thinking with my last one, or even how I made it through the final battle at the end. My main character was an archer which didn't necessarily hinder us but it did limit us a little bit. I multi classed Imoen in her second level as a thief to continue her leveling up as a Mage because WHO NEEDS A THIEF, right? I was eating traps through the whole game and having to camp out all the time, which would just get me jumped by skeletons. Well, no more. Imoen comes as a thief Mage this time around but she's leveled up high enough to lock pick successfully and get me good weapons/armor. Also, having my main as a neutral cleric is sort of fun, I'm actually casting boosting spells rather than just 8 fire arrows until the match is done.

Fact: I don't even know if I even BEAT the first baldurs gate. I took that final battle on like 23 times and on the last time I somehow didn't trigger the main boss's one tank character, so he stayed in the back corner of the match through the whole fight. I summoned a bunch of monsters to take the damage and actually managed to kill his mages but every character I had got killed except my main, the main boss got frozen like 7 times so he was just standing there, and I just kept picking him off with arrows. All the sudden the tank showed up and it was like "ah here we go, shits done" but somehow my guy held on for a tense 5 minutes while shooting arrows and getting punched in the face by a barbarian. Last dude left, just 300 Spartan-ing through the final fight. All of the sudden my ipad popped up the "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU KILLED SARUMON OR WHATEVER THIS DUDES NAME IS, HES YOUR BROTHER ANYWAY, YOU JUST FOUND THAT OUT" notification and then it immediately got overlapped by the "You are dead" notification and my game froze. I'm not fucking kidding. I figured that was as good a victory as any and I deleted the app.

I fucking love Baldur's Gate.

I've had three experiences with Carl Black now, one for service and two for sales. Service was good. I waited a while, but I had a lot of software updates being done so I wasn't too concerned.
Both of my sales experiences were not ideal. They felt more like the stereotypical car salesman experience. I put in an order for a car and had a lot of trouble getting status from them on the vehicle. It was at least three weeks and several calls with no update. We had not settled on a final price yet. When a better deal came along, I tried to get them to match it, but they would not commit on a price until delivery. I obviously wasn't going to wait just to find out they'd stick me with MSRP. I withdrew my order and bought from another dealer.
The other experience involved selling my car to them. I knew what my car was worth but was pressed for time to try and sell privately. I think they used this to their advantage, knowing what my loan payoff was. They only offered enough to pay off my loan, and it was a couple thousand or so below NADA. They then turned around and listed it on their site for full NADA retail and it sold in two weeks. I left the dealership feeling like I had been shafted and seeing the quick sale on my car just confirmed it.

Bottom line: I doubt I'll ever go to this dealer to buy a car. Based on my sales experiences, I would avoid giving them my money for service too, but they are the closest dealer by a good distance.

Will never go back, was skipped in line twice while trying to check in for my SCHEDULED appointment. Then after waiting an hour and 45 minutes for an oil change I went back to the service counter to check on it and one service person skipped me (after I'd been waiting several minutes) then a customer asked if I was waiting and only after I complained to him would someone even speak to me.

They quoted me $29 for the service and it ended up being $40 with no changes to the service.

I came into Carl Black dead set on getting a Hyundai Elantra but feeling obligated to at least look at other cars since it is such a big purchase. We were greeted at the door and assisted by Will Theiss. He was great! Knowledgable, easy going, personable, patient, and thorough. That day we left Carl Black to check out the Elantra and guess what, it had lost its luster! In the end the Chevy Cruze along with this wonderful dealership had stolen my heart. Thank you Will and Rodney for all your help getting me into my brand new, super sexy, 2014 Chevy Cruze.

Purchased a vehicle in January of 2013. Paid almost $50,000 for a truck. Had terrible customer service from the sale. Have had to contact them 5 or 6 times since and still had the worst customer service I have ever had at any business. They will never call you back and you can not get in touch with Omar or any higher up. They try to get you to fill out customer surveys to make them the number 1 GM dealership (what a joke). I would never go back to them to purchase a vehicle or service and would not recommend them to anyone

I'm not sure how I feel about this place, or any dealership for that matter.  Dealers tend to charge top dollar, find ways to add more charges to the bill, and to be blunt, rip people off.    The first time I did my oil change here I found a rag sitting on the engine which thankfully never caught fire.

On both occasions service was fairly quick and they did the job they were supposed to.  The second time I worked with Drake and he was nice enough and didn't dealership bs me too much.  I do hate their waiting room though.  They have three or four tvs going which are not all on the same channel.  Then there is the horrible music coming from the garage and more music coming from the showroom.  I would have welcomed a place to sit and read or listen to tunes away from the country music/muzak/TravyonMartin news noise that was making me irritated. I do believe next time I do I will find a spot outside and chill.

Carl Black probably has the worst service representatives that you'll ever meet.  Not very customer friendly, almost seem annoyed that you showed up.   God forbid they keep you updated.....4 days and no call on my car.  I called all day on the 4th day - no one could give me a status.  Blame each other.  Say they'll have my "assigned service rep" give me a call......then no call.  Jiminy Cricket!  These guys are horrible!  I tried to go up the ladder.....emailed, called.  Still no response.  Guess I'll have to go back down there tomorrow....have to get a ride.  Frustrated.

Bought a 60th anniversary ZR1 from Carl Black.  I had checked every dealer in Florida for this one and only Carl Black proffered a price, stuck by it, and delivered the car.  No need for call backs, let me check with my manager, yada yada.  Just straight up here's what we have and what it will cost.  Wish every dealer was like this.  Excellent job.  (PS - I buy a bunch of cars.  These guys are the exception to the rule.)

I had just driven from NC and noticed that my brakes were having issues. I asked the concierge of the hotel where the nearest Chevy dealer was and he recommended I come here. So the next morning, I noticed that someone had tried breaking into my car...needless to say, I needed a new door handle now too. So, without an appointment, I drove up to the service area and there was a rep there to greet me. I told him my issue and he said it shouldn't be any problem at all getting everything fixed.
My service reps name was Drake. He was so helpful and friendly. I literally was in and out within 2 hours and that's with having to get new brakes and pads, a door handle and an oil change. My boys and I were even driven to a restaurant in the meantime to get some breakfast.
I must say, for someone that didn't have an appointment, they really did a top notch job overall. Highly recommended!!!
